"Let's not rush up; let's check out this level first."

"Okay."

From what Fang Heng knew, the Overseers in the White Abyss Arena were divided into four types.

The first type was the red fang-masked Overseers, responsible for security on each level, acting as team leaders. Each floor had 2-3 of them, rotating s.h.i.+fts. The second type was the blue fang-masked Overseers, who handled various specific tasks within the arena. Both types had comparable abilities.

The third type was the purple fang-masked Overseers, the highest tier, with only three in total, responsible for overseeing all operations in the White Abyss Arena.

The remaining ones were ordinary yellow fang-masked Overseers, tasked with guarding various areas of the arena.

The Overseer controlled by Qiu Xiaoling was the lowest-tier yellow fang-masked one.

Fang Heng followed Qiu Xiaoling into a room to investigate.

It appeared that levels 111-119 were the living quarters for the Overseers.

Qiu Xiaoling conducted a quick search and found mostly personal items.

"Let's go, we'll check the upper levels."

In his Death G.o.d form, Fang Heng followed the Overseer, now occupied by Qiu Xiaoling, back to the elevator.

With the higher tier ident.i.ty card of the Overseer, they were able to access Floor 120 directly.

"Ding!"

The elevator doors opened again.

Floor 120 was one of the core monitoring areas of the White Abyss Arena.

When Fang Heng and Qiu Xiaoling arrived, the atmosphere in the monitoring hall was unusually tense.

A group of Overseers had gathered there.

The alarm for the sealing in the underground area had been triggered for over five minutes. Unfortunately, the black fog's aura interfered with communication, so everyone could only catch intermittent glimpses of the sealed area on the monitors.

They knew there was a problem down there, but the specifics were unclear.

The elevator doors closed.

Qiu Xiaoling activated the elevator with her internal work card and pressed the b.u.t.ton for Floor 150.

Surprisingly, the infiltration had gone so smoothly.

She whispered, "Once we reach Floor 150, I'll try to hack into the mainframe. It'll take some time, so I'll need your help."

The elevator ascended slowly.

They arrived at Floor 150.

The elevator doors slid open to reveal the data center of the White Abyss Arena.

Fang Heng was somewhat taken aback, the security here was surprisingly lax.

The setup was completely different from what he had imagined. He had expected the central data room to be filled with layers of ma.s.sive machinery, but there were only a few scattered machines.

In the center of the room, a pale yellow crystal levitated in the air.

Two yellow fang-masked Overseers were stationed nearby, and they immediately turned their questioning gazes toward Qiu Xiaoling.

"Who are you? This is the data domain of the White Abyss Arena. What are you doing here?"

Trouble was brewing!

Qiu Xiaoling's heart sank as she a.s.sessed the layout of the data center. She whispered urgently, "Fang Heng, that's a spirit stone. The White Abyss Arena stores its data using these stones, which means we can't use electronic hacking methods."

The two yellow fang-masked guards sensed something was off and approached Qiu Xiaoling, questioning, "Hey, we're asking you a question. What's going on?"

"Stall them; I'll find a chance to take them out," Fang Heng said, s.h.i.+fting into his Death G.o.d form and advancing toward the guards.

With his death scythe poised, he struck.

The scythe cut through the air, leaving a dark trail behind.

The ordinary Overseers were weaker than the SS-level ones, mostly chosen followers of 'Jealousy'. Combined with Fang Heng's surprise attack, they didn't stand a chance.

He unleashed a fluid combination of three stealth skills, catching the guards off guard. They felt their bodies reacting strangely, blood surging in a sudden rush, and just as they began to grasp what was happening, their minds were hit hard by the mental shock.

As they regained consciousness, a dark flash swept across their necks.

With a silent thud, they fell forward, their bodies limp.

Qiu Xiaoling was quick to act, rus.h.i.+ng over to catch them, easing their descent onto nearby chairs to make it look like they were simply resting.

After ensuring they were concealed, she glanced nervously at the cameras in the hall.

She hoped that they hadn't been discovered.

In his Death G.o.d state, Fang Heng approached the central, levitating pale yellow crystal, his gaze sweeping over it.

He remembered encountering a similar crystal in the Federation of the World of Forests.

These crystals were used by the dependents to transmit and store information.

Hints began to appear on Fang Heng's retinas.

"How's it going?" Qiu Xiaoling asked as she finished dealing with the two Overseers and approached Fang Heng. "Any findings?"

Fang Heng shrugged, "Not really."

"Then I'll go check the main control machinery over there. Maybe I can find a breach to extract the information. You should head back down to find Bai Mu, he has some knowledge of psychic communication methods. He might be able to come up with a solution..."

Just as Qiu Xiaoling was speaking, she suddenly saw Fang Heng raise his hand and press it against the spirit crystal.

"Hey, you..."

She was taken aback by his boldness and tried to stop him, but it was too late.

His palm made contact with the pale yellow crystal.

In an instant, using his psychic abilities, Fang Heng's consciousness invaded the inner structure of the crystal.

Like a movie screen coming to life, a torrent of data streamed within the crystal.

He could see layers upon layers of information neatly arranged before him.

In a mere sweep, all the information he needed appeared before his eyes.
