“I’m fine. I can go back with eldest brother and the others. I’m in good health!” Qiao Mei said with a laugh.

“That won’t do! The army vehicle is very shaky and b.u.mpy on the road. When I followed your father around as a military spouse, I couldn’t stand it at all and kept vomiting in the vehicle. You can’t sit in that vehicle!” Xu Lan said.

“Mother, we came here in eldest brother’s car. I’ll just take that car back. Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of myself,” Qiao Mei said gently.

Seeing that Qiao Mei knew what she was doing, Xu Lan did not say anything else. She left all the arrangements in the capital to Qiao Mei. Before hanging up, Xu Lan repeatedly reminded Qiao Mei to take good care of herself and that nothing was more important than her.

“Commander! Commander, look at me!” the doctor said agitatedly as he looked at Xia Mao.

“He’s awake! He’s awake! The division commander is awake!” The doctor was so agitated that he almost could not speak properly.
