Varian's heart pounded as he felt death graze him. It was so sudden and so close that even after he got into the ghost s.h.i.+p, he was still dumbstruck.

If he was just a moment late, then the s.p.a.ce crack would've blown his head into pieces. At that moment, he couldn't even register what was happening.

But his mind seemed to be ready for death as it flashed the so-called life before him.

As he stomped his foot, the ground shook violently. The air seemed to stand still.

And then, he grabbed for the ghost s.h.i.+p.

The high awakeners raised their head and widened their eyes.

The blue sky seemed to be broken as pitch-black cracks of s.p.a.ce spread everywhere.

Crisscross black lines filled the sky as if they were net.

The huge t.i.tan arm stretched through these s.p.a.ce distortions and reached ghost s.h.i.+p.

Whoos.h.!.+

At the last moment, ghost s.h.i.+p barely dodged.

"Hmph!" With a snort, the golden t.i.tan slapped the s.h.i.+p with the back of his hand.

Boom!

Like an asteroid cras.h.i.+ng down to earth, a ghost s.h.i.+p crashed down to earth.

Julius' figure disappeared and he appeared a hundred miles away.

"You and everyone related to you will die." He said with a chilling voice as he locked onto ghost s.h.i.+p that was heading towards him.

But at the last moment, ghost s.h.i.+p changed course and rose into the sky.

Julius narrowed his eyes and swung his arm.

Ghost s.h.i.+p accelerated at the last moment and he only managed to gaze at the end of ghost s.h.i.+p.

Due to the sheer force, even the highly defensive walls of ghost s.h.i.+p broke apart at the back.

But using the momentum, ghost s.h.i.+p shot into the distance.

"Hmph!"

Julius rose into the sky and caught up in less than a moment before trying to grab it once again.

Ghost s.h.i.+p once again accelerated at the last moment and escaped.

"Or else, everyone related to you—your family, your friends, everyone will face the consequences."

Ghost s.h.i.+p escaped again, he slapped it in irritation.

Julius sneered as its pieces continued to fall from the sky. In a few seconds, ghost s.h.i.+p would lose all resistance.

He infused the prana into his artifact: s.p.a.ce ring and was about to teleport to its location when his smile suddenly froze.

His superhuman senses discovered the ghost s.h.i.+p. It was on fire, emitting smoke, and seemed to be on the verge of exploding.

The final attack really did a number on it.

Julius finally sighed in relief but didn't relax. He immediately transversed hundreds of miles and reached the ghost s.h.i.+p's position.

"Finally," He reached out and grabbed at the ghost s.h.i.+p.

Whooo!

The ghost s.h.i.+p tried to evade like earlier, but it was too damaged to pull it off.

Thus, ghost s.h.i.+p was finally in the hands of Sovereign Julius.
