Grey and Klaus attacked the lady, forcing her back. The duo were a perfect team and their ability to coordinate with each other was astounding.

The lady used her puppets to delay the duo, making sure they couldn't capitalize on the small advantage they just gained over her. She attacked after regaining her footing.

The duo's first attack was the one that told her they were on another level compared to Alice and Reynolds. Grey's attack power was especially very strong, on the same level as a Second stage Sovereign who is about to break through to the Sovereign Plane.

Klaus' attack was also strong, and the lady could feel the freezing effect of Klaus' attacks.

The two puppets were no match for the duo, but the lady didn't mind, all she was concerned about was having the duo distracted while she herself attacked.

Grey and Klaus tried to insta-kill the puppets, but to their expectations, it wasn't something that could be achieved unless they didn't set up any defenses.

The lady attacked, using a cyclone filled with blades to attack the duo who were still being hara.s.sed by the puppets.

Klaus used his domain to create a thick ice dome that protected him from the wind blades. Grey on the other hand used the earth element to defend himself, before attacking the lady.

The lady didn't act carelessly while fighting with Grey and Klaus, she was even more serious compared to the first fight.

She retreated and used the puppets to once again stop Grey and Klaus from advancing towards her, and when the duo were about to fully dispatch the puppets, she stepped in, attacking them when they least expected it.

Her tactic was a wise one, not giving the duo the opportunity they wanted. She has gotten a taste of the power the duo wielded, so she knew they indeed have the chance to beat her as long as the opportunity presented itself, but she wasn't going to allow that.

Klaus froze one of the puppets, and just as he was about to destroy it, the lady intervened once again.

Her battle strategy was starting to become annoying to Klaus. He knew what the lady was doing, but there was no way to stop it since all is fair in love and war.

The lady wanted to win at all costs, and given her superior cultivation stage, she could outlast the duo when it came to a battle of attrition, especially when she's not doing most of the fighting.

"Bud…"

Grey punched the puppet he was battling away and shook his head, "Not yet."

Klaus grunted softly before attacking the puppet, sending it flying.

This time, the duo didn't try to follow up on the puppets, rather, they went after the lady. At least the puppets will need a second or two to come back, that was enough time for them to exchange blows with the lady.

The lady knew what they wanted and unleashed her wind domain. The entire place turned as Grey and Klaus felt a powerful force trying to repel them back.

Grey created a fire blade and sliced through the wind domain like a hot knife through b.u.t.ter. Klaus on the other hand unleashed his domain, covering himself in snow. He drifted through the wind like it was nothing.

The lady looked at the duo as they approached her. She attacked as they were trying to get close. Grey phased through the attack, something the lady never expected.

This gave Grey the chance he wanted as he drew close to the lady and attacked. Unleas.h.i.+ng a fusion orb at the lady.

Klaus covered the lady and the fusion orb in a dome, encasing them to make sure the impact of the orb was felt to the fullest by the lady.

Boom!

The ice dome shattered and the lady shot away from the place before a powerful explosion followed. She managed to get just out of the explosion in time, but she was still hit by the impact.

Getting hit by the impact was better than being in the same place as the explosion, she could tell that the orb Grey used was not ordinary.

'Such an intriguing orb. I didn't get the chance to study it properly.'

Even though she was battling, she was a powerhouse and seeing something as unique as the fusion orb, she was curious about it.

Grey and Klaus were about to continue their a.s.sault when the puppets returned. Grey made two inscriptions and used it to keep his puppet occupied while he darted after the lady.

The lady, seeing that her puppet couldn't stop Grey, attacked. She was strong, and knew alone, she could overpower Grey.

Grey and the lady attacked, but exchanging attack after attack. Grey dodged most of her attacks, and so did the lady. They were both fast, but due to having the higher cultivation stage, the last was faster than Grey. Her robust body didn't impede her speed one bit, she moved very fast, dodging most of Grey's attacks.

The lady was about to attack when she noticed Grey's figure had changed to that of Klaus.

Klaus attacked with his ice needle, as fast as he could.

The lady didn't see it early, but she managed to use the darkness element to stop the ice needle even though half of it had pierced through her right shoulder. She could feel her body starting to grow cold and she quickly used the darkness element to force out the cold essence the ice needle released into her body.

The place the needle pierced was freezing on the outside.

The lady was once again taken by surprise when Grey appeared once again and attacked with the fire element.

The lady blocked, but she was once again met with Klaus who used a powerful ice blade to aim for her head. Just as she was dodging the attack, Grey returned and attacked from the direction she was moving to.

In the s.p.a.ce of a few seconds, Grey had used the switch skill repeatedly over ten times, making life tough for the lady.
