"How's this possible?"

The Necromancer was in shock.

A second ago, Grey was within his grasp, within the next second, Grey not only escaped his grasp, but turned the entire situation on its head. At the moment, the Necromancer was no longer able to use his elemental essence which isn't supposed to happen, unless he has lost all ability to use elemental essence.

Grey is only in the First stage of the Sovereign Plane, there was no way he would be able to achieve something like this. Only someone on the same stage as the Necromancer could achieve something like this, at least to the knowledge of the man.

What he didn't know was that Grey used the help of cutting off his link to the puppet and his speed to get the better of the Necromancer.

The Necromancer soon realized what happened and looked at Grey in fear.

"Impossible! You're in the G.o.d's tomb." The Necromancer couldn't accept this.

Grey was confirmed in the G.o.d's tomb, how could he be here?

Grey looked at the Necromancer with a smile, "It's all a ploy from me."

"What… what are you doing here?" The Necromancer asked.

"To kill as many Gnomes and Necromancers, of course, why else would I be here?" Grey answered matter-of-factly.

The Necromancer looked at Grey with dread, now he understood why everyone was wary of him and even the Emperor wanted him dead. Anyone capable of eliminating the Gnomes and Necromancers' greatest weapons which are the puppets is too dangerous. The Gnomes do not want him alive, and neither do the Necromancers.

They all want him dead due to his threat. Due to the fact that he can even disguise as a Necromancer makes him even more dangerous, but only this Necromancer is aware of this.

"How are you able to do that?" He asked, albeit weak.

"Simple, make them think I'm a Necromancer." Grey replied with a smile.

The Necromancer found it hard to believe.

"Do you want to know the difference between us?" Grey asked when he saw the Necromancer's face.

The Necromancer nodded.

"You're below the person you're working with…" Grey paused and looked at the man while placing his index finger on the forehead of the Necromancer, "I, on the other hand, I am in control of the Seventh Prince."

With that information, the head of the Necromancer burst open. He didn't really care about letting the Necromancer in on this information. With him dead, there was no way anyone else would be aware of this information.

After killing the Necromancer, he kept the ring, took a glance at the puppet he was using and kept it as well. The puppet could use spatial confinement, a really useful spatial technique, as long as he could learn a thing or two, he might be able to awaken his spatial domain.

He ensured that all the workers and soldiers at the site had been dealt with by Void and the bunny leader before heading back to where the Second Prince was located.

The Necromancer was around the same stage as the Second Prince, so he knew going back to report that he killed the Necromancer would put the Second Prince on alert, so even though he shattered the head of the Necromancer, he fixed it, and with him under his control, he sent him to where the Second Prince was waiting.

On the Second Prince's end.

"That kid is special, he even managed to survive my special attack." The Necromancer said proudly, the Sixth stage puppet still by his side.

He was about to continue speaking when Grey appeared close to the Second Prince, bleeding from his mouth, eyes, nose, and ears.

"I'm sorry your highness, he's too strong." He bowed apologetically.

"It's okay, you did your best." The Second Prince said calmly, not surprised at the results of things.

"You're mining on my land." The Second Prince said to the Necromancer in a cold manner.

"Just for a…"

"Not anymore your highness." Grey said, cutting off the Necromancer.

"What do you mean?" The Necromancer and the Second Prince looked at Grey, wanting to know the meaning of his words.

"I might not be your opponent, but neither is anyone you left behind." Grey laughed, "I knew you wouldn't think that I would attack them, so you would naturally head here after I escaped."

The eyes of the Necromancer turned cold.

Grey pa.s.sed a ring over to the Second Prince that contained some of the lower quality stones from the mine. Of course he had no plans to give the Second Prince any of the valuable items he retrieved. But he could at least keep the Second Prince trust, while also making sure he bridged into the First Prince's faction.

With this Necromancer under him, he has one of the major moves of the First Prince's faction.

'I need to get rid of one.'

Grey grabbed his head softly from pain. The Second Prince didn't think much of it since Grey was basically bleeding from the Necromancer's attacks and still went on to wipe out the entire troop that was sent to mine. Even though what was retrieved wasn't much, it was still good that he killed so many from the First Prince's camp.

"You little snake." The eyes of the Necromancer were filled with killing intent, he was ready to strike at that moment.

"Don't dare to act recklessly. I wouldn't want my elder brother to start a physical battle with me." The Second Prince stood in front of Grey, he wanted to protect him.

This might not be what Grey promised, but having to deal with this guy then even still having the time to wipe out the troop and then coming back was shocking.

The Necromancer looked at the Second Prince and without waiting, he turned and left, not caring about Grey and the Second Prince.

The Second Prince took a glance at Grey, quite satisfied with the outcome of things.
