The Old man's voice stopped at this point, his entire body disintegrated, turning to dust.

Grey looked around, seeing the destruction they've caused, he couldn't help but shake his head with a sigh. This wasn't what he wanted, but he didn't really care. All he had to say was that the Family fought back, technically, they did fight back, so he didn't have to worry about having to come up with evidence.

The Family Head was apprehended by Alice, unable to fight back, while the Prince couldn't do anything, he just sat on the ground, cowering in fear.

"Well, that's all. Let's call the Princes." Klaus said.

Grey nodded and contacted the First and Second Prince, he didn't forget to include the part where the family elders fought back and then they had to fight against them, killing them in the process. He also placed the Prince and the Family Head under his control, he needed them to forget any form of the battle, as he didn't want to give away the techniques he used, which might give away his ident.i.ty. In the entire human world, there's only one person who knew the switch skill, and it was him. If the news spreads, one person from the Gnome world will eventually figure out his ident.i.ty.

The Second and First Prince sent people there to apprehend the Prince and the Family Head, and Grey returned with his friends. Of course, the Second Prince spoke about the destruction of houses, but Grey pinned it on the Family, increasing their punishments. Most of them have already been wiped out, but from the crimes added to their name, even those who aren't around might be hunted down and killed.

Grey didn't care, after all, this was all the Second Prince's doing. If not for the Second Prince wanting the Third Prince dead, this wouldn't have been a thought in the head of the First Prince.

Grey and his friends went back into hiding while the entire Gnome world descended into chaos.

One of the biggest and oldest Families in the Gnome world tried to a.s.sa.s.sinate the Princes and take charge of the empire, this was big news, and everyone was talking about it.

This act placed the other Families under surveillance. If one of them has such a thought, it's simple to a.s.sume that the others might also have such thoughts. Not all of them, but a few of them might have such thoughts.

The Gnome world entered a quiet period as everyone was suspicious of all the big Families in the world.

While all these were happening, Grey and his friends were silently cultivating in the Palace. There was no better place to cultivate, so they didn't want to waste the chance, especially Grey. The Gnome world was the perfect place for cultivating his mental energy, and if he wanted to increase it, he had to cultivate it as much as possible.

The Princes were all focused on fis.h.i.+ng out those who might have such ideas. The Second Prince has come to them again for another mission. This time, it was to take down a smaller Family. Grey and Klaus went alone and came back within an hour. This Family had only one Third stage Sovereign, and one First stage Sovereign.

The Second Prince was amazed at how precise Grey and Klaus were when dealing with the Family. Most of the top treasures were gone, almost like the top experts in the family took it with them when leaving for the G.o.d's tomb. The Princes didn't have anything to hold Grey and Klaus accountable for since even the people didn't have the Idea that Grey and Klaus took their treasures.

The first Family Grey and his friends brought in had been taken care of, there was no point in keeping the Family Head alive, so the Second Prince killed him, the Prince however was left to survive, but under harsh circ.u.mstances. He was made a prisoner, and the kingdom under him was taken from him.

One week went by in the Gnome world.

Everything was calm, with some Families being plucked out by the Princes.

While the Gnome world was in chaos.

The G.o.d's tomb was no better.

The scars of war could be seen across the entire landscape. The mountains were battered, and almost all the trees had been destroyed. This was a result of the continuous battle in the G.o.d's tomb.

In a secret place.

Lucas could be seen with a few of the top experts.

"Lucas, what's the point of continuously fighting? We already know this place is fake." An Old man asked calmly.

"We've killed a few of their top experts. This is our best chance to reduce the deaths on our side and not make the Aurora Continent the battleground." Lucas took a sip of the drink in his hand, he looked into the sky and said, "Our families and children are there. And there are thousands more people, we can't afford to take the battle there."

"I haven't seen your son or his friends here since we entered this place. At first there were sightings of him, but he's nowhere to be seen." An Old lady said grumpily.

"They might be hiding, or dead. It's unknown what their situation is. We haven't been able to bring everyone here, so it's understandable if they are still out there." Lucas didn't seem bothered or worried about his son dying.

The Old man and lady looked at Lucas with cold expressions. Their top students had been killed in the G.o.d's tomb, so they were in a bad state of mind.

Lucas didn't care about what their thoughts were, people would die, naturally. Some of his brothers and sisters were dead, but he didn't let it affect his thought process. All that was needed was to make sure he kept the Gnomes here for as long as he could. One of the things that he knew could keep them here was the knowledge that Grey was here and hiding.
