Chapter 1732: Ice Chamber IV

The Hall was still filled to the brim, and from what Klaus could tell, it will take at least another hour or two before everyone present will be tested. The floors those who have already been tested could enter are already engraved in their bodies. Once they are about to step into the Ice Chamber, they'll be immediately transported to the appropriate floor. Although it didn't look big, each floor had about thirty rooms, with both sides of the room having an equal number of rooms. However, the number of rooms reduced significantly from the Ninth room, getting fewer and fewer.

From what Klaus and the others have observed, given the success rate of people who could meet the requirements, there won't be an issue of any floor having too many people. Even when over a thousand people had gone for the test, barely a hundred and twenty people have been able to pa.s.s the requirements. This alone showed just how hard it was for people to pa.s.s the test.

The test has been ongoing for over an hour now, and among the group from the Moonlight Faction, almost everyone had gone up. Other than Klaus, only two others haven't gone for the test. Klaus' companions numbered up to fifty, and at the moment, other than three of them, the rest had gone up. Of those who had gone, only eighteen had pa.s.sed the test. This result should normally be regarded as something good, but thinking about it, all the youths that came from the Moonlight Faction were considered elites back in the Faction. Of course, not everyone is as freakish as Klaus who was already very close to achieving the Sixth stage of the Sovereign Plane, but they were still elites. Having not up to half of these elites pa.s.sing the test made the faces of a few of the Elders from the Moonlight Faction black. They didn't expect the gap between themselves and those from the Crescent Moon Faction to be so large. But thinking about how this test didn't only focus on one's cultivation talent since there are people who have low cultivation talent but insanely high apt.i.tude for their ice abilities. If everyone from the Moonlight Faction were allowed to come, Faction Leader Beatrice didn't think they'd lose out too much in terms of numbers. The quality of their apt.i.tude might be the only thing holding them back. Of the eighteen people who pa.s.sed the test, only one of them managed to get to the Tenth floor, and it was only the Second Order. Three had gotten to the Ninth floor, while five were on the Eighth floor, and the rest of them were on the Seventh floor, some of them barely even getting into it.

The performance of those from the Moonlight Faction would've been noteworthy, but since there have been multiple people from the Crescent Moon Faction who had been able to get to the eleventh floor, one person reaching the Second Order of the Tenth floor didn't look impressive. Besides, multiple people from the Crescent Moon got to the Tenth floor as well.

Klaus wasn't in a haste, he only stood in the same position as he watched everyone walk up to the ice wall. Those who had been able to get to the Eleventh floor, except for one person, were all in the Late stages of the Sovereign Plane. Five people have gotten to the Eleventh floor, and the weakest was in the Sixth stage of the Sovereign Plane.

From this Klaus could tell that all five people were elites of the Crescent Moon Faction that have been trained for years now by the Faction.

He stared at Suzanne, the young lady who escorted them into the Faction, and wondered what her situation might be. From what he had already seen from the way the other members of the Faction treated her, he could tell that she was somewhat in a position like his own; where she's regarded as the top genius in the Faction.

'If it were fighting I would've not even bothered, but testing apt.i.tudes of ice abilities... Hehehe.' Klaus didn't fear anyone when it came to testing out ice abilities. He knew that he wasn't like Grey who was a freak in a lot of aspects, but in terms of ice abilities, he was even confident that he was better than Grey!

Being better than Grey at anything is no simple feat, yet he could confidently boast of this. Of course, he knew that if Grey were to appear here, the chances that he'd get to the Eleventh floor were high. But if Grey could get to the Eleventh floor, then he was confident that he'd be able to get to the Twelfth floor. His hopes for the First Order were low, but he was certain that he could get to the Second Order.

No one has been able to get to the First Order on the Eleventh floor; all five people stopped in the Second Order, unable to get past it.

Time flew by and other than Klaus, everyone else from the Moonlight Faction had stepped up. Of the remaining two, one of them actually managed to get to the Tenth floor, the First Order no less, which greatly lifted the spirits of those in the Moonlight Faction. The other one only got to the Second Order of the Ninth floor.

At this moment, almost everyone who needed to step forward had stepped forward, leaving only about four from the Crescent Moon Faction, all in the Ninth stage of the Sovereign Plane.

All four had their eyes on Klaus, who, after sparing them a glance, didn't show any more interest. Other than Suzanne who has had some dealings with Klaus, the rest of them didn't know him and only saw him as someone who acted arrogantly. Not just them, but most of the members of the Crescent Moon Faction felt this way as well. Anyone who has had their eyes on Klaus could tell that he didn't seem to put them in his eyes.

Suzanne didn't have much of a reaction since she saw how he was able to strangely not be affected by those words written on the wall before entering the Faction.
