Lord Dante paused for a few seconds, trying to decide if it was best to allow a prospect like Grey to leave. If it was anyone else, he would've actually been supportive of them leaving the Pyro World to seek outside experience, but this was a person who the Gnomes seemingly wanted dead. If they hadn't started making camps, then it would've been easy to let Grey leave, but they've all heard about the sudden increase in Gnome sightings. Not just that, according to the intel these experts have managed to gather, two cities have been completely taken over by these Gnomes. Human powerhouses rushed to these cities, and what awaited them was a dead city. Even the weakest Elementalist was taken by the Gnomes.

They've tried to track these guys down, but unfortunately, they've been unsuccessful. Most people in the real world thought it was an evil method used by an Elementalist desperate to break through to a higher cultivation stage. News like this, although rare, isn't uncommon. It's common knowledge that most Elementalists will eventually be stuck in a particular cultivation stage, and no matter how hard they try, they will be unable to break through. When pushed to the very edge, some of these Elementalists will eventually turn into these evil Elementalists and cause a large number of deaths.

This situation was the most over the past few thousand years since tens of thousands of people from each of the two cities had completely vanished.

Most of the people in the Aurora Continent were on the verge of panicking, but they were calmed by the top Factions and Families who stepped forward to mediate, telling them that the situation was being investigated while also telling them to remind each city's guard if they notice anything out of the ordinary.

The two cities that were hit couldn't really be called top cities, but they could be ranked among the mid-grade cities. A mid-grade city usually has at least one Peak Venerable guarding it. Most of these cities' City Lord positions are hereditary, so it's normal for there to be a powerful Family holding the position of City Lord for hundreds if not thousands of years. Back in the Hall.

Seeing Lord Dante not speak, Grey decided to act.

"Senior, there's something I'd like to discuss with you." He wore a calm expression on his face as he looked at Lord Dante.

He hasn't made too much contact with Lord Dante, but he knew that he was at least an upright person.

"Hmm?" Lord Dante raised a brow, not expecting Grey would want to have a discussion with him. And from how Grey acted, it's clear that he wanted to have a private conversation with him. He motioned for the others to leave.

Grey didn't rush, and only after everyone left did he open his mouth, "I know that Senior's intention of wanting to keep me here is for my own safety, but Senior should be rest a.s.sured, if I was someone who could easily be killed, I wouldn't be standing here in front of you today."

Lord Dante didn't show any reactions to Grey's words. Grey isn't a child, so he knew that Grey knew the reason he didn't want him to leave.

"To you, who do you think is my biggest threat?" Grey asked, not showing any pressure.

"Gnomes of course." Lord Dante replied matter-of-factly. This is common knowledge for everyone.

"And what if I told you I have a way to avoid them?" Grey's mouth curved into a smile. "Avoid them?" Lord Dante was confused, looking at Grey he said, "Boy, speak clearly."

Grey nodded and explained, "It's not that I can avoid them."

"Then what?"

"I can sense their presence."

"What?!"

Lord Dante couldn't keep his calm. This was not a minor matter. Although the powerhouses of the human race knew that Gnomes had sneaked into the Aurora Continent through different means, they were unable to track them down, hence the reason they were not able to deal with them. Two camps had been accidentally found, but each camp didn't have an expert above the Sage Plane. So even if they were wiped out, it didn't change anything. But if someone like Grey could lead them, then there's a good chance that they might be able to at least delay the Gnomes' invasion.

"Not just them, Necromancers as well. I managed to locate a lot of powerful Necromancers when the G.o.d's tomb opened." Grey continued.

"Then why didn't speak up sooner?" Lord Dante asked, before Grey even answered, Lord Dante continued, "Come with this Lord, we will wipe out the Gnomes in the Aurora Continent."

"Senior, although I can sense their presence, I have to be within a certain range, and their strength shouldn't be too high from my own." Grey explained, "Given the size of the Continent, do you think five years will be enough to sweep it clean?"

"And even if we do, it's just the tip of the iceberg. I've had multiple encounters with Gnomes to know how powerful they are. Senior should know that the current camps they've set up aren't made up of their top experts, if not, the war would've already broken out by now."

Lord Dante didn't stop Grey from speaking, rather, he listened intently. Only after hearing Grey's words did he calm down. He was initially eager to take Grey out and kill all the Gnomes, but after hearing that Grey couldn't sense the presence of those far stronger than him, and there was also a limit to the distance he could sense their presence, he was forced to calm his raging emotions.
