Lou Wuye felt that his cultivation had returned to its original state but he knew that this was something temporary. This is a strength that even he didn't have in his real-time. After all his real cultivation as a Warden is only peak Celestial G.o.d.

Slowly as his soul integrated into this dreamland the sealed memories of his past life resumed. He witnessed the death of Yun Ming's soul in this realm but unfortunately, he couldn't do anything about it. He slowly closes his eyes, wanting to prevent himself from seeing the next scene in accordance with his memories.

As expected, the current lord of this race had hidden himself to follow his son. Who would have expected not only would he see his son bringing out the divine artifact that their creator owns, he would even witness the last moments of the Great Elder's life. Slightly trembling Lou Wuye hugged Lu Ming carefully in his embrace. His movements were gentle as if afraid the young man in his embrace would disappear before his sight.

With his lips upturned Lu Ming looked at his master tenderly, "M-Master... I know... you are not completely my master. Didn't you know my... Master never smiled at me... In my life..." he said in his last moment.

"True yet wrong at the same time. I am not him but he is my past. Ming'er doesn't worry I will protect you in our next life. Sleep well my dearest." said Lou Wuye as he kissed Lu Ming's forehead before the latter took his last breath and closed his eyes. But there is a satisfied smile on his face, he only looks like he was sleeping but those who knew that Lu Ming is already gone.

The scene they had witnessed is unnerving yet it left the other three speechless as if none of them had the right to disturb the couple. 

They watched as the Great Elder pulled the most luxurious robe in his s.p.a.ce storage and wrapped it around Lu Ming. He carried him in his embrace ignoring the others as he walked away. 

"Ye Caoye, you killed my love in this life and I will never forgive you in eternity. But despite that I won't punish you, I have a good feeling we should be seeing each other again in our next life. A last piece of advice from this old friend. Be careful of your back." said Lou Wuye as he disappeared in a few steps.

Ye Mo panicked for a moment when he saw his father let the great elder leave. 

"Father, are you going to let the Great Elder leave? He would be a hindrance to us in the future! He would also inform the Creator about our plan!" complained Ye Mo.

The current leader glared at him and said, "Are you ordering this old man? Why call me father if you aren't going to respect me!? Or is it that you want to replace this old man already and become the new leader of our race?"

Ye Mo panicked when he saw his father looking at him with eyes full of distrust. He immediately shut his mouth and lowered his standing as he spoke, "F-Father... Don't tell me...
