Xue Yan quietly took a piece of liangpi and began to cut it into wide strips. Then, he put it in the big bowl with liangpi.

Jiang Yue added the ingredients into the big bowl and she stirred it with chopsticks.

The two children cooperated very well.

“I’ve seen a lot of children help their family, but you guys are the most likable out of them all,” the uncle said in surprise.

Xue Yan and Jiang Yue thanked him politely, “Thank you.”

“You’re too polite.” He came over to take a look because the two children had been shouting at the fork. After that, he became a regular customer of this stall.

The uncle sat and waited for his meal.

It didn’t take long for Jiang Yue to make it. After a while, she was done. Then, she poured the mixed liangpi out of the big bowl and onto the plate. She held the plate with two small hands and gave it to the uncle.

The uncle took it and placed it on the table. He took a pair of chopsticks from the bamboo tube on the table and took a big gulp. “Not bad, not bad at all. It’s really refres.h.i.+ng. Please make another bowl for me. i have a big appet.i.te and I’m not full from this.”
