In Wakanda.

“Do you really want to do this?”

“Yes, it is better to be frozen instead of becoming everyone’s enemy again!” Bucky said honestly.

Steve couldn’t say anything to stop Bucky as he realised that Bucky was thinking for the best.

“Your friend and my father was a victim,” T’Challa said as he took off his Black Panther mask.

“You realize that you will be in a lot of trouble if they find me here, right?”

“This place is safe. Only a few people outside knew about our technology, so there is nothing to fear.” T’Challa said confidently.

Dio, who was standing near them, smiled at Steve, a.s.suring him that nothing would go wrong again. “Look at this, The UN has revoked the Sokovia Accord, 68 out of 117 countries has withdrawn their vote, and therefore the accord is useless now! They’re clearly afraid of what we can do!” Dio said a.s.suredly.

“If those people remain stubborn till the end, would you really do it? Destroy a few cities just for the sake of it?” T’Challa asked curiously.

“Well, I will leave it to your imagination,” Dio said while laughing.

T’Challa thought of what had happened earlier, and with the current established image of Dio as a lunatic, there was no way the nations’ leaders would take a risk!

“You really are a lunatic! I am starting to regret my decision to bring you here!” T’Challa said silently.

After handing over Zemo to the UN soldiers, T’Challa immediately left the Siberian base. However, after he boarded the Wakandan Stealth plane, he saw Dio destroyed all the jets and s.h.i.+ps in the air and in the sea while threatening the world!

T’Challa had to say that Dio really took it to the next level!

So, to mend the bridge, T’Challa sent a message to Dio, asking him to stay in Wakanda. At first, Dio wanted to take Steve and the others back to the unfinished base, but he knew that it was too risky.

So many people came and went to that building, and he didn’t really know how long Nick Fury could hide them there. And with that thoughts in mind, Dio agreed with T’Challa’s invitation.

“It’s too late now.  We villains are going to use this place as our base for the time being. Well, after we figure out our next goal, we will pay all our expenses while we live here in full!” Dio said confidently. But Steve just shook his head in embarra.s.sment as he didn’t know what to say to Dio’s shameless remark.

“Well, it’s okay. As the King of the richest country in the world, I don’t mind if you use our facilities. Just don’t destroy anything while you are here!” T’Challa said with mock seriousness.

Although T’Challa sounded like he was joking, Dio knew that it was meant for him. That was why Dio didn’t really like rich people, as they thought that their banknote could solve everything!

“Well, if that’s the case, how about you make a s.h.i.+eld for this guy!” Dio said as he patted Steve’s shoulder shamelessly.

Steve was again embarra.s.sed by Dio’s lack of shame. But instead, T’Challa laughed.

“It is for the better. Now, follow my guards there, he would take Mr.Rogers to the lab, and we will get him a golden s.h.i.+eld! T’Challa said as he pointed his finger to the guard behind him. Steve was surprised as he didn’t expect T’Challa to actually take Dio’s word seriously.

To be honest, Steve also had a hard time dealing with most rich people. But it was to his own surprise that he could become a good friend with Tony like they were before all this happened.

That was also why Steve parted way with his trusted s.h.i.+eld, as Tony claimed it back after their little quarrel. Both of them couldn’t look past each other’s mistakes and misunderstandings and took their separate ways.

Steve finally left the room with the guards, leaving only Dio and T’Challa in the room. Dio didn’t have anything left to do there, and he wanted to return to the s.h.i.+ps again to cuddle with Wanda, but before he could, T’Challa stopped him for a little chat.

“Remember the promise you made that time?”

“What promise are you talking about here? Have we ever met before, your highness?” Dio said, feigning innocent.

“Come on, we know that you are the person who impersonates our border guard, and not only you stole some of our Vibranium, you also kidnapped my sister. Now, that said man also said that he owed Wakanda a favour before he left my sister and me in j.a.pan. Now, why did you do all those things?” T’Challa asked curiously.

T’Challa clicked something on his bracelet, and suddenly Will Smith’s face appeared.

“Did your highness confuse me with Will Smith? We didn’t exactly look alike, did we?” Dio said awkwardly. He kept denying it as he didn’t want to expose his embarra.s.sing personal past.

T’Challa sighed and put away the projected image and then smiled. “No, it’s nothing. I am just asking out of curiosity. But can you show me your scythe for a moment? I believe it has a very precious metal on its core to be able to cut through my Vibranium claw.” T’Challa said confidently.

“Oh, s.h.i.+t! I forgot that I was searching for it too! Once I find it, you can take a close look at it later! Until next time, your highness!” Dio said as he immediately left the room, but he knew that he wasn’t fooling T’Challa this time.

“Shuri, I found that b.a.s.t.a.r.d!” T’Challa said to his communicator as he smiled after Dio left the room!
