Stand User in Marvel Universe Chapter 780

Chapter 780

Tony opened his eyes and he immediately saw the concerned look of the Avengers around him, but Tony just smiled as he was still alive! 25 hours later, everyone gathered in the Avengers Tower with Loki, who was safely secured! 

At this time, s.h.i.+ELD who came to clear up the debris of the Battlefield finally arrived. As for the shawarma that Tony proposed earlier, it had to be postponed for some reason. 

“Wait, are you saying that Loki’s scepter was taken away by Steve Rogers after I close the portals?” Tony asked in surprise as he heard Dio’s explanation.

“Yes, but not our Steve Rogers! It’s a mysterious person that appeared out of nowhere, they also got a huge G.o.ddess-like monster with powerful abilities! I still don’t understand their reason for all this. The probability of the enemy disguising themselves as Steve Rogers itself was still there.” Dio said solemnly.

Dio suspected that the G.o.ddess-like monster came from a completely different world and because of his own appearance here, the character of another world began to mess in this world.

“But I didn’t feel any hostility from them.” Steve said slowly.

“And why do you say that?” Tony asked curiously.

“I just had a feeling that was the case at first, but what happened later seemed to confirm my suspicion! The guy that can change his size attacked at first, but rather than aiming to neutralise me, it was like he just wanted to annoy me so that I would follow him. Then the huge b.u.t.terfly thing appeared and destroyed every enemy that came her way before throwing us away from the plaza.” Steve explained. “If the enemy wants to kill us, I believe they had the opportunity to do it so many times, but they never did anything that could harm us.” Steve continued.

“Now, after I got thrown away, the guy that can change his size earlier attacked again, but this time, he just knocked me out.” Steve showed his point. “Combined with what Dio had said earlier, I guess they are a group of people who went after Loki’s scepter. All their distraction earlier was just to clear they way to get their hands on the scepter with a relatively easy method.” Steve stated a plausible scenario.

“That has to be the reason why they go out of their way to distract me and Natasha so much!” Steve said while nodding his head. “Well, the enemy might not want to be our enemy, at least not permanently.” Steve said with a shrug.

Everyone was lost in thought after they heard Steve’s explanation, except for Hulk who just sat down playfully. 

“We still lack evidence to say anything for sure right now. We can all speculate, but it doesn’t serve any purpose.” Dio said carefully.

“I propose we spend some time investigating this matter later! It’s actually scary that the enemy can just appear out of nowhere, while they might be scheming something in the shadows.” Natasha suggested. Everyone obviously agreed to her suggestion. It was obvious that they ought to investigate the enemy’s ident.i.ty first regardless of whether they were hostile or not!

While the Avengers were discussing what they should do next, Tony and the others that came from the future were eavesdropping on them in a room close by. As for how they did it, Scott changed his size and took the eavesdropping device himself.

“No wonder he is the Captain America, his a.n.a.lytical ability is quite precise!” Scott said as he was impressed by Steve Rogers’ way of thinking. 

“Hey, just listen to what they have to say!” Steve from the future said annoyedly, but he couldn’t hide his smile. 

“Hey, they didn’t go to the shawarma place! Our plan wouldn’t work!” Vision said as he was focused on the objective. He already changed his appearance to disguise himself as the Shawarma Shop’s owner while Luci had disguised herself as the waiter for that same store. If the Avengers had lunch at the shawarma place, Vision and Luci could stall the Avengers to make time for Steve and the others to secure the cube! 

But Dio stopped them before they could go to the shawarma place as he thought that they shouldn’t relax in the current situation.

“Well, prepare our backup plan. It is time to test your acting skill, Scott!” Tony said with a disappointed shrug.

“Okay! Just take it easy! I a.s.sure you that I can pretend to act innocent while in school, that is why I got away with almost everything.” Scott said confidently. Steve just sighed when he heard Scott’s word as he knew that the plan could fail horribly. 

Steve felt like he wanted to sub Scott out from this mission, but there was no one to a.s.sume his role, and thus Steve could only hope that Scott could be relied on this one mission.

After a while, Tony and Vision arrived at the scene they needed to be.

“Are they both ready?” Tony asked to his communicator.

“Yes, but I can’t help but think that this plan is unreliable.” Steve said with a sigh once again. He didn’t think Scott could act at all. Although he knew that the backup plan was to take advantage on the weak points of the early avengers, he didn’t think the plan could work.

“Vision, if the plan goes wrong, who should we watch out the most?” Tony asked.

“Well, for starters, we should watch out for Mr. Stark, but Mr. Dio probably will be the toughest one. He might pose a problem if we have to fight him.” Vision said honestly.

“Yeah, I think so, too! In this plan, Dio is a huge factor! No one knows what that guy would do, he might even ignore it all! So, it would be best to distract him and send him somewhere else.” Steve said with a sigh.

“The worst situation would probably be if it turns into an all-out war and we’d struggle to take the Cube!” Tony said with a worried look on his face.
