Chapter 796

Thor’s emotional threshold has surely risen as he didn’t have to be comforted about something that awfully upset him like this. Even so, Dio wasn’t surprised that Natasha could pick up Mjolnir on her own. 

Dio brought together his wound and immediately used Reality Overwrite to heal his wound! Nevertheless, Thanos didn’t have this kind of ability, so his injuries were holding him back from being too reckless. 

Still, the tide of battle was still in Thanos’ favor as his army was ready to attack the Earth on a larger scale anytime! And also, the rest of the Avengers started to regroup as they got rid of their pursuer. Although they still lost in number, they made up the difference it in terms of quality! 

“This is embarra.s.sing!” Dio said as he saw that everyone stood together in a superhero-like posture. 

“Hey, I can transform and crush all of these people myself!” Luci said as her eyes were full of excitement. Dio smiled and patted her head as it quite amused him that Luci was excited to help the Earth.

“Hey, I already told you to transform at will, but it will only be your last resort when you are in danger!” Dio said amusedly. “But hey, look at that army behind Thanos. You are free to fight them as hard as you can as long as you don’t embarra.s.s me later!” Dio said as he pointed his finger towards the Chitauri Army behind Thanos. 

“Alright, I will complete the task without fail!” Luci said as she excitedly rushed towards the army.

“I have so many years of conquest and slaughter, but never have I ever mixed my personal feelings to it. But now, you have pushed me too far, vermin! I will disintegrate your planet like an insolent insect you are!” Thanos said as he looked at Dio coldly. The Chitauri Army behind Thanos began to line up and marched forward as they sensed Thanos’ will. 

The Leviathan was flying in the air, and countless small s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps swarmed the sky, showing the might of Thanos’ army. This war was surely unequal in terms of numbers! But the war itself would never be fair!

History was carved by the winner, and the loser would be lost forever! 

“The battle will turn fierce in the next moment!” Steve said as he stood beside Dio. 

“Excuse me! was our last battle not fierce enough for you?” Tony said as he hovered beside Dio. 

“That’s it!” Thor said as he leaped in front of Dio while his body was full of thunder. Even Natasha, Vision, Rhodey, Luci, Hawkeye, and The Hulk showed their determination to vanquish every single one of Thanos’ armies.

“Good! Everyone is here, and the tide of war will change soon enough!” Dio said as he smiled happily. It was usually at the moment like this that the movie would immediately s.h.i.+ft into the heroes’ favor, giving them the upper hand against the villain!

Suddenly, countless small portals appeared, and some even merged together to form a bigger portal.

“It seems we come at the right moment!” Stephen Strange stepped out of the portal with the Wakandans, and the rest of the heroes of Earth followed. Stephen officially led the reinforcements, and Dio just shook his head because of how predictable the plot was! 

“Wakanda forever!” T’challa shouted as he led the entire army of Wakanda.

“Captain, are you alright?” The Falcon asked as he landed beside Steve.

“Thanos, the tyrant! Your end is here!” Peter Quill shouted as the rest of the Guardian of the Galaxy stood behind him. 

“Mr. Stark! I am here, I am here!” Peter Parker shouted as he swung to a chunk of rock and waved his hands at Tony.

“The Glory of Asgard will be the Glory of Midgard!” Valkyrie shouted as she rode the Pegasus while leading the charge of the Asgardians she commanded. Thor was definitely excited to see his people band together to fight Thanos this time! 

Meanwhile, the sorcerers under Stephen’s command immediately blasted their magic at the Chitauri Army to signal the start of the battle! 

“How did the world turn out into this chaos while I fell asleep?” Winter Soldier said as he walked towards Steve. 

“Bucky! You are here!” Steve said as he hugged bucky tightly. But it wasn’t the end of the reinforcement! A blue and white ironman’s armor suddenly landed beside Tony.

“Pepper, what are you doing here?” Tony said worriedly.

“Morgan keeps asking for her dad, so what do you think I should do? When we return, you have to be on cleaning duty for at least a month!” Pepper said sternly. Tony’s eyes widened in surprise, and he took a step back as he was intimidated by Pepper’s aggressiveness.

It was certainly the right decision as a woman who hated Iron Man armor so much was willing to fight wearing one. Obviously, it meant the situation really called for it! Tony was excited to show Pepper what he could do and was determined to mow down every enemy on his path! 

“Hank told me to bring you this stuff! I hope you won’t drag me down later!” Hope Van Dyne said as she suddenly appeared out of thin air with a small box and immediately gave it to Scott. It was a box full of Pym Particles! 

Scott Lang was definitely excited as he could finally use his suit to the fullest! It was finally the time for him to show off his Ant-Man/Giant-Man’s power! He hugged Hope immediately, but Hope just pushed him aside embarra.s.sedly. Nevertheless, Scott still had that wide grin on his face as he was thrilled that Hope was here and brought him the Pym Particles that he direly needed. 

Usually, Dio would tease Scott with a few words, but he didn’t feel like this was the right time. It was because Wanda stood in front of Dio with tears in her eyes.

“I am sorry!” Dio said as he immediately hugged Wanda tightly. Dio savored the moment as he really missed Wanda this whole time. The entire battlefield didn’t seem to matter anymore, as all Dio wanted was to hug and be with Wanda all day. 

Steve and the others tried their hardest to hold their cough as Dio and Wanda didn’t seem like they cared about the incoming battle anymore.
