Chapter 41.1 - Mech training
Luo Fei submitted an application for friends visiting, registered Mo Han, Frank, and Iman’s information, and the application was quickly approved. Luo Fei took the three of them to the security room at the school gate for a security check, and they were quickly let through.
“Are the requirements of St. Romia so strict?” Iman couldn’t help complaining. ”You can just walk into Hermann University casually.”
Frank said: “After all, it is a military academy, and has many secrets that should not be known to outsiders.”
Mo Han did not speak, and looked around after entering the school gate.
The feeling of St. Romia Military Academy is very different from that of Hermann University. Discipline and rigor are everywhere. Students are all wearing military uniforms, walking straight and upright, without hooking their shoulders or slapping their backs or fighting. Even if there are occasional couples walking side by side, they followed the rules and at most held hands.
Such an environment will indeed change a person. No wonder Luo Fei’s temperament improved a lot after staying in a military academy for a month.
Mo Han turned to look at Luo Fei, and his heart skipped a beat when he saw his smiling eyes. He immediately looked away, and pretended to look into the distance calmly. “The scale of St. Romia is larger than I imagined, and the new construction is not less than Hermann University.”
Hermann University is a comprehensive university with the most complete faculties and majors in the Empire. St. Romia Military Academy does not have as many majors, so Mo Han subconsciously felt that it would be smaller than that of Hermann University, so what he saw surprised him greatly.
Luo Fei explained: “Although there are not many majors in our school, there are many combat training grounds, including large-scale shooting, fighting, and mech training centers, which are far larger than other schools. These training grounds can be visited too.”
At this moment, Iman suddenly ran over excitedly: “Let’s visit the dorms first. I want to go to the dorm my father lived in!”
Luo Fei nodded and took the initiative to lead the way for the three of them.
There are several buildings in the dormitory area. Luo Fei took everyone to the room Uncle Snow used to live in. There are currently two seniors from the mech department living here. After hearing about Iman’s intentions, they took the initiative to let him enter the room for a visit. Iman thanked the two seniors and briefly walked around the dorm.
The s.p.a.ce has changed a lot compared to twenty years ago, but there are still some traces of his father and its previous tenants. When some students graduate, they will write a few words in the guestbook behind the door, some of them will write their blessings to their juniors, and some will write down their wishes.
The message board in the room had his father’s handwriting.
“I hope I will become an excellent doctor in the future –Snow”
Iman looked at the familiar handwriting and said excitedly: “Dad wrote this. His wish has come true!”
Luo Fei said, “You can take some photos for him, he’ll be happy to see his handwriting from that year.”
Iman immediately took a video and sent it to Snow.
After visiting the dormitory where his father lived, Iman said again: “Luo Fei, can we visit your dormitory?”
Luo Fei said: “The layout of the dorms is the same.”
“Take me there! I want to see what the dormitory you live in is like!” Iman was very stubborn.
Knowing that he was very curious, Luo Fei had no choice but to take the three of them to his dormitory.
…
Luo Fei lives in Room 707, Building 2 of the student dormitory.
Ludwig said he was going to the library to look up some information and would come back at night, so Luo Fei took the three of them into the room easily. Iman walked around and said with a lack of interest: “It’s exactly the same as the dorm just now. Huh, why is there only a bed, a wardrobe, and a table in your room, and nothing else?”
Luo Fei smiled and said, “I’m a soldier, so it’s better to be simple.”
Mo Han was also very surprised by the layout of Luo Fei’s bedroom. Unexpectedly, the bedroom of the First Prince is very simple, even the quilt is neatly folded.
Iman scratched his head and said, “By the way, where’s your roommate? Do you get along well?”
Luo Fei said: “My roommate doesn’t talk much, and we rarely chat.”
Iman asked in surprise, “Is your roommate a boring gourd? Then won’t you be so bored and have nothing to say when you’re in the dorm?”
At this moment, the door suddenly opened, and Ludwig actually came back early.
Iman’s eyes widened instantly. He already had a pair of big eyes, but when he stared like this, his eyeb.a.l.l.s almost fell out, and his mouth was opened so wide that an egg could be stuffed in. This “stunned” expression was extremely stupid.
Luo Fei couldn’t bear to watch, and helplessly held his forehead.
Ludwig was slightly taken aback when he saw Iman, but then he frowned and said coldly, “What’s going on?”
Luo Fei had no choice but to go forward and explain.
“These are my friends. They came to the school to look for me today, and stopped by the dorm to have a look. Didn’t you go to the library? You came back so early?”
Ludwig said: “After checking some information, I came back.”
Luo Fei coughed lightly, and just wanted to explain that he was Mr. F, and these guys were teammates in the game. As a result, Ludwig quickly recognized them at a glance and took the initiative to say: “You guys, are you MH, a member of the regular team, Handsome for three seconds, and… Genius?”
He looked at Iman with a cold gaze as he reported the ID of “Genius”.
Iman blushed instantly and scratched his head in embarra.s.sment, wis.h.i.+ng he could go back in time and change this shameful username.
Now that Ludwig recognized them, Luo Fei had no choice but to follow up and say, “I am Mr. F. Actually, I recognized you when I saw you in the game, but I didn’t tell you for the time being.”
Ludwig nodded, as if he didn’t mind at all, and said, “You guys talk.”
Then he turned around and walked back to his room.
Iman wanted to ask him, was he surprised or not?
As a result, his expression was so calm that there were no waves. Seeing three netizens was like meeting three pa.s.sersby.
Iman looked at his tall figure in military uniform, his eyes were almost glued to his back – this guy named “Hunter” is more handsome in real life than in the game. Although people’s facial features can be imitated by more than 80% in the game, many details cannot be completely copied, such as moles, human eyes, facial expressions, etc.
In real life, this person’s facial features are more three-dimensional, especially his eyes, which are cold and deep, giving Iman the illusion that his scalp will go numb just by looking at him.
There are no advanced skills such as “eye killing” in the game, but today, Iman’s heart beat wildly from his cold glance just now.
What a cold and serious guy.
Especially in line with his taste.
Immediately, Iman moved and rushed up to stop Ludwig like a monkey. “When meeting with netizens, why are you so calm and don’t even introduce yourself?”
Ludwig looked at him with raised eyebrows.
The next moment, Iman stretched out his hand with a bright smile. “Hi, let’s get to know each other formally, my name is Iman.”
Ludwig said lightly, “My name is Ludwig.”
He really cherishes words like gold, and doesn’t say a word of nonsense.
Iman found that his height could only reach the chest of the other party, and he had to look up when speaking. His neck hurt a bit, but he still wanted to say a few more words to Ludwig, so he persisted, “Thank you for teaching me how to shoot these few days. How about this, I’ll treat you to supper tonight, what do you like eating?”
Ludwig: “I don’t have the habit of eating late at night.”
Iman said enthusiastically: “Then let me treat you to lunch tomorrow. I will be staying in a hotel near the military academy tonight, and plan to stay here for a week.”
Mo Han looked at him suspiciously, and Frank also looked over blankly – isn’t this different from what was agreed? Didn’t Iman say that he’ll go back together after visiting the military academy?
Luo Fei held back a smile and touched his nose lightly, and said, “Ludwig, you can just satisfy his request. Iman doesn’t like owing people favors. You spent so much time teaching him how to shoot, if he doesn’t treat you to a meal, he’ll be so uncomfortable that he can’t sleep.”
Iman gave Luo Fei a look of “you’re smart”, and Luo Fei slightly raised the corners of his lips in tacit agreement.
Hearing Luo Fei’s explanation, Ludwig said calmly, “Okay, tomorrow works.”
Iman immediately said excitedly: “There is also the tuition fee. I’ve already prepared your mech, and was thinking about how to find an opportunity to meet, but coincidentally, I met you in Luo Fei’s dormitory by chance. We must be friends, it’s fate haha.”
Looking at the cheerful, smiling little guy in front of him, the corners of Ludwig’s mouth twitched slightly.
Is it necessary to be so happy?
***
After coming out of the dormitory, Luo Fei quietly pulled Iman aside, and asked in a low voice, “You don’t think you have a crush on my roommate, do you?”
Iman’s eyes lit up as if he had discovered a new world. “I think he’s different from the alphas I’ve known before. Such a cold and serious guy makes me want to conquer him and throw him down.”
Luo Fei: “…”
Wait, isn’t Iman’s idea wrong? Is it okay for him, an omega, to take the initiative to knock down an alpha?
Uncle Brian’s education is really problematic. He taught Iman to “go after whoever he likes” and “you have to be cheeky to catch up with him.” As a result, Iman grew completely crooked and became a cheeky omega who actively chased people. If Ludwig knew that this short guy wants to throw him down, he would definitely be dumbfounded.
Luo Fei suppressed a smile and said, “Then I’ll cheer you on. I look forward to the day you throw him down.”
Iman lowered his voice and said, “You have to help me with this matter, he is your roommate. I’ll give you a week to find out what he likes. I plan to wait for his birthday to give him a big gift.”
“No problem.” Luo Fei simply nodded.
“So straightforward?” Iman looked at him suspiciously. “Beforehand, wouldn’t you laugh at me?”
Luo Fei coughed lightly, and said: “Our fathers are close, and we grew up together. We’re like brothers, of course I will help you.”
Moreover, helping Iman is helping himself.
He talks too much with Mo Han, and Mo Han seems to like his lively and straightforward style too. Luo Fei is especially afraid that Mo Han will be interested in him. Now that Iman is in love with someone else, it’s great.
Of course, it is impossible for Luo Fei to reveal his selfishness.
