The Black Wind King, however, remained completely unaffected. It raced forward like a roaring storm, as swift as lightning, leaving Han Che and the Feng Family expert far behind, the kind of distance no amount of effort could close.

Gu Jiao pressed her legs tightly against the horse’s flanks, her strength and the Black Wind King’s seeming to meld into one. Although it was their first time fighting together, their coordination felt as though they had trained countless times before. Their synergy seemed innate, like a natural-born connection.

The high platform loomed ahead.

From a distance, Gu Jiao had thought the platform was about her height.

But as she approached, she realized it was taller than Gu Changqing!

It was at least 2.3 meters high!

"Prepare to accelerate." Gu Jiao commanded as she stepped onto the stirrups, rising slightly off the saddle. Her body leaned forward, and she gripped the reins tightly. "Charge!"

The Black Wind King's speed was already astonis.h.i.+ng, almost beyond belief. Yet no one expected that it could push itself even faster!

With a powerful leap, it soared toward the seven-foot-high platform, springing upward from the ground!

For a moment, it felt as though the entire world had fallen silent. The crowd collectively held their breath, and even the sound of explosions seemed to fade away.

Everyone couldn’t help but feel nervous for the Black Wind King.

That platform was absurdly high. Could it really make it?

But the Black Wind King soared effortlessly onto the platform, landing solidly and proving its strength and control with undeniable skill!

An “old and useless horse”?

The Han Family must be blind!

The Black Wind King demonstrated to everyone just how gravely its combat prowess had been underestimated.
