For appetizers, there were cold dishes, hot dishes, a fruit platter, some pastries, and also alcohol.

Women’s and children’s food was served separately. Lu Jiao prepared watermelon juice for the kids, fried chicken drumsticks and wings.

Liang Ziwen slammed his fist into the table, “I don’t get drunk! I’ve never gotten drunk!”

Hu Shan couldn’t help but pull on Liang Ziwen’s arm, “Enough. Don’t overdo it.”

The reason why he showed up uninvited today was to reconcile his relations.h.i.+p with Xie Yunjin. His wife was very thankful to Yunjin’s wife and continued to say how she needed to thank Lu Jiao in person some time.

Hu Shan dragged Liang Ziwen away.

Liang Ziwen was drunk and acted irrationally. Instead of listening to Hu Shan, he shouted, “Weren’t you the one complimenting Yunjin’s wife as pretty and a good doctor?! How come you are okay with not seeing her now that you’re here?!”

Liang Ziwen’s words made Hu Shan flush. He subconsciously looked toward Xie Yunjin.

Xie Yunjin’s gaze was gloomy and icy as he looked back at Hu Shan.

Hu Shan explained quickly, “I meant to say that Lady Lu is beautiful and kind. I have no other intentions.”

Liang Ziwen started to laugh, “Haha, brother Hu, what are you afraid of? You can straight up say you like his wife and there’s nothing he can do.”

Xie Yunjin stepped up and swung his fist at Liang Wenzi. Liang Wenzi was not prepared and had to retreat back several steps. He did his best to endure the pain.

Hu Shan extended his hand to grab him. Sadly, in his delirious state, n.o.body could stop him.

Beside Xie Yunjin, Zheng Zhixing and the others exchanged glances. Liang Ziwen was truly difficult to deal with. If they helped Xie Yunjin now, he may revenge.
