Chapter 16 Lying through your teeth

Meng yiniag and Wu JingHua start to feel happy. Looks like the matter of Wu SheYue injuring 8th prince has made a few people in the house irritated. 

The two walk forward to give their greetings and then see that on the ground is a person kneeling.

Meng yiniang and Liu s.h.i.+ give a small smile. Zhao s.h.i.+ keeps a straight face. 

Wu HanTian glances at Wu SheYue and sighs. "Alright, all of you sit down. Now that everyone is here, YueEr, tell us what happened to your face."

Meng yiniang had not even properly sat down when she heard this and stood up again. With disbelief, she points at Wu SheYue. "Wh-what?This is Yue——"

Liu s.h.i.+ sarcastically laughs a little. "Meng jiejie take a seat. We also had the same expression you had. Don't not believe it but our Prime Minister Manor's Third Miss is getting ready to take flight."

Old Madam lowers her head and promptly says, "Lao san, say something."

老三 – Lao san, it's used to refer to the third son/daughter of the family by the older people. In this case, Old Madam is referring to Wu SheYue since she is the third miss. 

From the beginning, Wu SheYue hadn't been able to react to what was happening. When she entered, she was forced to kneel and then everybody fell silent. She was almost about to fall asleep. After thinking about it for a while she finally realized Lao san was referring to her. With realization, she raises her head to look at Old Madam.  

Looking at her reaction, Old Madam sighs in her heart. This face surpa.s.ses LiuYun's that child, it's just that her reaction is still slow. A pity…….

Meng yiniang once again falls down onto the seat, her eyes burning with anger as she stares at Wu SheYue. Her heart is filled with shock, anger, and hate. Could it be an appearance in one's dream to make a request? Old Madam's eyes start to glitter. "What did she say to you?"

YueEr dreamt that yiniang was surrounded by a golden light, it was very dazzling. She said many strange things that I can't remember but I remember her rubbing my face with her hands…….After I woke up, I felt that I had become clear and bright. I was able to think clearly.

Old Madam continues to question Wu SheYue. "What happened afterwards?"

She's literally trying to deceive everyone! Meng yiniang knows that Wu JingHua is not able to hold in her anger so she holds onto Wu JingHua's hand silently warning her. 

Old Madam sighs. "Aiya, stop crying~what happened next?"

"Afterwards…….YueEr looked into the water and saw that the birthmark was gone." Wu SheYue uses an innocent tone to finish this lie. 

The many yiniangs narrow their eyes after hearing this. Although the reason is a bit weird, but it seems that this reason also makes sense. Originally, they thought Third guniang is useless but she has changed a lot right now…….this however, is not a good thing for them.
