TBoSP Chapter 6 - The threat of a snake
WhatdoIdo, whatdoIdo?!

Lost in confusion, she did not noticed the huge snake who all of a sudden, disappeared without a trace. A delicate, thin string about an inch long slithered slowly up her leg through her trousers...

She felt an object around her neck and subconsciously reached out to grab it. She took down the mystery object and upon glancing down, she discovered the real ident.i.ty of it. Shocked, she tried to throw it away but stopped her hands as soon as she saw the deadly cold stare from the snake.

"Woman, do you want to die that badly?"

Su Fei Yue had his stare locked onto the girl.

"You..."

Mu Tang Chun tried to process what just happened. She looked up and noticed that the huge white snake is gone. Instead, a miniature version of the similar snake is...

Despite reduced to a size small enough to fit in her open palm, it could not hide his own amazing power.

Just like Sun Wu Kong, he can change his own size at his whim. If he wants to get bigger, he just needs to will it. If he wants to get smaller, he wills it again. As a normal human being herself, being able to stay calm in the face of such strangeness is already an impressive feat!

Perhaps her curiousity and amazement suppressed her fears, she forgot how scared she was just minutes ago. She brought the snake close to her and asked.

"How did you change your size that easily?"

She is actually asking a question civilly at the reptilian species she loathes. Has she gone crazy?

"Hmph, foolish human..."

Su Fei Yue huffed at her with a ridiculing tone, no longer bothered to answer her anymore.

Although he has lost most of his magic powers, he can still change his size at will. However, he can not maintain his human form.

Mu Tang Chun revealed a curiousity just like a baby, and prepared to fire her questions like a turret. However, just when she was about to ask, a knock came at the door.

"Miss, dinner's ready. Come down for dinner!"

It's the voice of the servant, Aunty Li. (TL: Name undecided yet. 李嫂)

Shocked, she intuitively looked towards the snake. The very same deadly cold stare locked on to her, and a dreadful sense of fear overwhelmed her.

"If you dared to give away this Highness's location, I will eat you!"

A crystal clear threat, his icy tone caused her to s.h.i.+ver all over. How scary!

"I... I know!"

With just a threat from the oppressive snake, she quickly agreed. *sobs* She couldn't say no at all!

"This Highness is hungry. You should start working on that promise of yours right now!"

He found a perfect spot on her palm and settled down. His eye slits narrowed. Su Fei Yue finds her powerless expression really hilarious.

"Miss, what are you doing? Lady Mu is asking you to come down!"

Since Mu Tang Chun did not reply her, she continued urging the young miss to come down.

"Coming!"

Her voice cracked as she quickly replied back. After all, there's a mystical snake who can change it's size at will in the room. Thus, her reply sounded fl.u.s.tered, as though afraid of anyone else finding out about this snake.

Perhaps deep down, she is afraid of the possibility that this snake she's holding will be brought before a scientist... Observed, tested, and sliced open in the name of science. How scary! Why would I think that way? To think that she could be worrying about this loathed reptilian species, even Mu Tang Chun is shocked by her own thoughts.

Since Aunty Li is already urging her to come down, she's left with no other choice. She grabbed the small-sized snake and put him into her pocket. Mu Tang Chun then opened the door and walked out of her room...
