The two days straight of filming was very taxing on Murong Yunxi and Niannian. Although Murong Yunxi's pregnancy was still not obvious and other than sleeping much more she had not had any reactions, the hot weather, coupled with the drain on her physical energy, was making it unbearable for her. As for Niannian, she had just recovered from a big illness, she also found it hard to digest these two days' work load.

When they were finally done with the two days' work, Gong Yu's expression was as cold as a remote air conditioner.

The moment they took their last set of photos, Gong Yu immediately carried Niannian with one hand and tugged Murong Yunxi with another and headed to the hotel.

"Who are you sulking at?"

They continued walking towards the hotel, into their room. Gong Yu placed Niannian on the bed and entered the bathroom. After a while, he came out looking slightly better.

"Go in and take a shower. It's too hot. After you take a shower, you can take a nap with Niannian, I'll take you guys to dinner after you wake up."

Murong Yunxi finally heard Gong Yu open his mouth and say something. Once again, she walked up to him and asked, "What's wrong with you just now? Who were you angry at?"

"Myself!"

"Yourself?"

"I see that you're having a good sleep and could not bring myself to wake you up. Niannian and I had dinner after she woke up. She just fell asleep after I played with her for a while."

Murong Yunxi looked at him apologetically, "I'm sorry, you had to take care of her alone because I slept for too long."

Gong Yu sat down beside her and stretched out his hand to caress the top of her head. "Silly, you've brought her up all by yourself for so many years, I've only done it for a short while. I can't compare to you."

Murong Yunxi turned and looked at Niannian. The little guy was soundly asleep. Murong Yunxi looked at the sofa, "You can go work if you need to."

"What would you like to eat?"

Gong Yu walked towards the phone and dialed for the restaurant. After ordering food for Murong Yunxi, he hung up and returned to her side again.

"After we go back, I'll go do a check-up with you. Is it time for one?"

"I think after a while, it's not time yet. Usually, it's one check-up every three months."

The way that the two get along with each other had been changing marvelously since an unknown period of time. They were becoming more like a mundane couple, but with sweetness flying all over.

"You were reading a script? Is there a new drama again?"

"Yes, Seventh Brother landed me a new drama. This time around I'm leaving behind the duke image in the past. It's a modern drama, I really want to take on the challenge."

"When do you start filming?"

"Probably next month. This time around, I might have to leave for a period of time because the filming is in H city. I'll come back and visit when I have time."
