Leng Yihuang said unhappily, “You're happy now, so why not kiss me to express your grat.i.tude?”
Lin Xiaomi was sweaty.
How shameless he was!
“I say no.” She directly turned him down.
However, he wasn't done trying. He approached her and blew on her ears, saying in a s.e.xier tone, “Moon?”
It gave her creeps, making her almost loosen the hold of the steering wheel.
He was devil itself!
She felt ashamed that she had no resistance to him. Having been dallied with by him for so many times, she still couldn't help blus.h.i.+ng with skyrocketing heartbeats.
She scratched her ears and pushed him with force. “You're too boring. I'm driving, so don't mess with me.”
“I'll leave you alone if you kiss me,” said he seriously.
Was he short of kisses or love?
“I don't want it!” She refused him with determination. He turned annoyed in the end and kissed her lips after putting his arm around her neck. Afterward, he sat back at the pa.s.senger seat, fastened the seat belt again, and turned his head around to look outside through the window.
He ignored her and was sulky.
He did these so quickly that she couldn't respond to him. When she realized what happened, she only saw the back of his head.
Such a childish man!
She puckered her lips to relive his flavor.
After a while, she asked, “Go home?”
“No.”
“Where do you wanna go?”
“Eat out.”
He was upset, so he decided to eat Western Food.
She refused to get off the car after seeing the restaurant he chose. “I'm not going there.”
He then looked at her with a poker face.
“It's expensive here. Do you know I'll spend one-month gas money if we eat here?”
He indifferently looked at her. “My treat.”
She got chocked and could only murmur, “The money is in my bank card. If you don't spend it, I'll have all of it. If you spend the money like this, I'll fight with you.”
She then suddenly asked, “Well, how much money in the bank card? You didn't use my 50,000 dollars, did you? If you used it, I'll also fight with you. Do you hear me?”
He impatiently got off the car and opened the door of the driver seat. “Are you out of the car or not?”
“I'm not.”
He came forward and hugged her out of the car.
“Ah...”
She wore a short dress, so when he hugged her, she kicked her legs in fear. “Put me down. It's so ugly.”
He walked toward the restaurant with her in his arms, for he didn't know how to softly deal with such a stubborn woman who was addicted to money.
“Put me down. I'm almost exposed.” She was blushed. Since it was meal time, many people around had looked at them.
He glanced at her skirt and then put her on the ground.
He held her hand and walked inside.
“Okay, okay, I'll go with you. Can you let me go?” His palm was warm. This was the first time he had held her hand while walking, so she just figured out that his palm was big and rugged, which gave her a sense of safety.
As soon as she spoke, he directly entwined his fingers with hers.
Pulled by him, she was a half step behind him and felt weird when bowing her head down to see the interlocked hands.
Actually, she liked this feeling.
It was dependable and secure.
In the restaurant, he went to the toilet first. Ushered by a waiter, she sat by an empty table.
However, the moment she sat down, she saw Xue Haolin who sat in diagonal to her.
Xue Haolin saw her, too. He involuntarily frowned at the thought of her stalking him deliberately.
She also saw the abhor in his eyes and knew that he misunderstood her, but she didn't want to explain it to him.
She told the waiter to take an order later and then turned her head around to look at the floor-to-ceiling window after the waiter left.
Xue Haolin had thought that she would take this opportunity to say something to him.
For example, she would continue telling him she was his playmate; she would ask him not to get married.
But surprisingly, she didn't come over.
Xue Haolin turned around and looked at her who sat by the window and sided her head to look out of the window.
Fair and pretty, she had a very delicate chin and long black hair hanging down loosely. When she turned her head around, her long fair neck caught his eyes.
She sat there silently, which made him somehow find her beautiful.
However, she seemed surrounded by sadness.
Xue Haolin didn't know why he felt this.
Having been in the business circle for so many years, he had seen all kinds of people and knew that her appearance was her biggest disguise.
Suddenly, the picture of her eyes full of tears conjured up on his mind, making him feel upset.
Xue Haolin! When did he become so visual?
She was indeed charming and was good at utilizing her advantages, but she was foxy and thereby wasn't his playmate.
Lin Xin'er was fixing her makeup in the bathroom. Feeling the tightness in her chest, she took out the pill bottle and poured out two pills. She disliked drinking water, so she directly engulfed the pills.
Her mouth was filled with bitterness.
She didn't frown at all and continue fixing her makeup.
As she grew up, she got used to eating pills and kinda liked the bitterness.
At least, the bitterness proved that she was still alive.
Her poor body didn't allow her to stay outside for a long time, so she should have gone home and laid down on the bed now.
However, she was really sick of staying in her room for a whole day.
She wanted to get out, to spend time together with Xue Haolin, to enjoy his love, and to discuss with him about their wedding.
She got cold feet. As soon as she stepped out of the bathroom, she almost fell onto the ground, and it was the man who came head-on and subconsciously helped her up.
She directly fell into the man's arms and hit his st.u.r.dy chest.
“Miss, are you okay?” asked the man politely.
“Thanks, I'm fine,” said she subconsciously. When she looked up, she saw the man against the corridor lights. She was stunned at his handsome face and lost in her thoughts.
Leng Yihuang slightly pushed her away and looked into her eyes with his brows knitted but still asked with courtesy, “Are you sure? Do you need me to ask a waitress over?”
She had never seen such a good-looking man in her life before, so her heart was beating so fast.
