I didn't have time to think of anything else as I followed Rose into the room. The temperature brought a sheen of sweat to my forehead as I bounded across the room.

"What? Are those adventurers?!"

"Help!""Help!!" "Let me go!!"

We rushed closer as the prisoners finally noticed us. Even from here I could see the relief in their eyes. Their bodies were malnourished from however long they had been in here. They couldn't put up much resistance with how they were, and were still being herded towards the lava pool.

They were on the other side of the pool, and none of us were that durable. We would have to move around the whole lake to reach them.

"Graghhhh!"

From the other side of the pool the huge t.i.tan had noticed us closing in. Its face turned to our direction and it screamed out in an earth shaking roar. Rose wasn't deterred from the shout and kept at her head long sprint to help them.

As if following a command the normal Rock t.i.tans started to walk in our direction. The variants stayed where they were with their hands dipped into the lava, supplying energy as we made our way closer. Whatever they were doing I couldn't let them succeed.

I hazarded a guess that the ominous feeling I had been having all day was related to whatever they were doing. The pounding of the ground that signified a type of ritual had at least stopped. Seeing how determined Rose was to help those survivors, I decided on a quick plan.

While she rushed head long into danger, we would of course cover her. We would distract and hopefully kill the normal rock t.i.tans and Variants while she got the survivors to safety. The only problem would be the huge hulking t.i.tan that was on the other side.

I still wasn't close enough to use a.n.a.lyze, but through my spirit vision, I could see the energy that radiated off its being. Compared to the t.i.tans around it, it was like a light in the darkness. My body tensed as I looked at the creature.

I wasn't sure if it was in trepidation or excitement as I stared at it, but in the end it doesn't matter. We were all in now. It was time to get to work. Thankfully the kids could take down one or two of them for us.

*Crunch* *Bang* *Bang*

Their steps boomed off the ground as we got closer to the front lines. Rose took my plan to heart and didn't bother to give them the time of day. She kept running even as a huge fist came smas.h.i.+ng towards her face.

Tapping her feet her body flew into the air, where she then pressed off the arm and continued to run forwards. Looking at her lithe figure my eyes were drawn to the contours of her body. I shook my head quickly as it was getting distracted and concentrated on the slowly recovering t.i.tan.

*Boom*

The wind and the ice from my halberd gave off a huge noise as it crashed right into the neck joint of the behemoth. My eyes drifted to my status as I felt the beast crumble under the blow.

I had gained a total of 4 levels since I entered the dungeon. Weather it was because of the training we started to do, or my near constant use over the days, spirit vision and soul bond had gone up a level. Those two skills going up would be one of the main reasons that Ice also leveled. Or that's what I a.s.sumed. I believe that most of my skills are intermingled and required for many to reach a higher level.

For me to get Ice to level 10 I think I would need a few auxiliary skills that accommodate it. Of course I could check this by using my skill points, but then again after Ella's evolution I couldn't bring myself to waste those precious points.

Nearly all my stats were about to break the 200 mark, which I think is a bit of a barrier, I noticed it when I went from 90-100, there is a quant.i.tative difference between 199 and 200. And not a small amount at that. Once I broke that barrier, I was sure that these t.i.tans would crumble without me having to enchant my weapons.

While my thoughts were in disarray my body went into auto pilot as it followed behind Rose. Ella took up the rear and dealt with a few of the stragglers, while I mainly tried to take them out in one shot or cripple them. If they were crippled Ella could easily take them out with a well placed shot.

"Noooo!!!""NOOOOO!!!!"

The screams continued to get louder as we closed in, thank G.o.d the t.i.tans were so slow, they couldn't keep up with or restrain Rose, who was trying her best to reach them. Seeing them get closer and closer to the pool of lava, my heart started to beat faster.

*Swish* *Bang*

Another one of the t.i.tans fell as we got close enough to the gigantic t.i.tan. I instantly used a.n.a.lyze and hoped that this bad boy was all bark and no bite. I was very p.i.s.sed once I got a look at the boss.

"Ohh f.u.c.k off!" I swore out loud as my eyes scrolled down the information. It was a b.l.o.o.d.y level 40! And was some type of Priest?! Like what the actually, h.e.l.l. And finally it had a b.l.o.o.d.y name! I wasn't thick enough to think that a 'named monster wasn't meant times more deadly than any other. You just had to look at Ella, Rose and Zoey, not to mention that psychotic b.i.t.c.h who almost killed me the other day. She definitely had a name.

I'm not going to even get started on its G.o.d d.a.m.n name. I tightened my grip on my halberd as Colabrus turned to look at Rose who was getting closer. As if losing its patients, the body that had been waiting at the pool stepped out towards the survivors.

*BOOM*

Just one step caused the cave to shake, the lava splashed all over the place. The speed it possessed easily eclipsed the others. One of the survivors couldn't even scream in terror as it was gripped in its ma.s.sive hand.

*Crack* *Crackle*

The bones shattered and popped as it he was a biscuit before the body was thrown into the pool. The only sign that the person was still somehow alive was the small groan that was let out while he was flying through the air.

This groan then turned into a scream of pain as somehow his lungs produced enough oxygen to let it reverberate out. It was cut off in seconds as the body melted into nothing. My spirit vision watched the body fall into the pool of lava, that was more like a pool of energy, before the body which was a brown type of energy was devoured by the red lava energy.

Rage peaked in Rose as she finally made it close enough to attack. She leapt in the air as Colabrus reached for yet another victim.
