In the afternoon, Song Tian already caught 17 fish. Song Tian looked at the bucket, sighed, "All these fish are different in color, yet it's the same river trout," he said.

Song Tian decided to sell 15 fish and earned $75, and he looked at Song Li playing in the gazebo with the girls, "Xiao Li, come here," he said.

Song Li cas.h.i.+ng the yarn ball being held by Lin Hua, glanced at Song Tian, "What? Look, I'm busy here," he said.

Song Tian shook his head, "Fine, if you don't come, I will release this fish," he said as he picks the fish from the bucket.

Before Song Tian throw the fish back to the river, it was already s.n.a.t.c.hed by Song Li. After swallowing the fish without chewing, he said, "You can't just throw the fish back after catching it. Don't you know the fish feels hurt when their pride being played like that? Instead of catch and release, just give me the fish instead. So I can honor their pride by eating them."

Song Tian eyes twitched after hearing the reasoning from the cat in front of him, he picks another fish and throws it to Song Li.

Song Li jumped and caught it immediately with his mouth, "I say, don't you know how to fish? Why only catch river trout when there are so many types of fish in this river?" He said as he swallowed the fish.

Song Tian retorted, "Why not? I only keep catching the river trout to keep river ecosystem balanced. Don't be surprised later when I catch some dragon."

Song Li shook his head, sighed, "You're too delusional," he said.

Su Wen was laughing from hearing the banter between Song Tian and cat, she feels her phone vibrating and took out her phone to see who's calling.

Su Wen looked, and it was her mom, she answered the call, "Mom, what's up?"

"Xiao Wen, mom, and dad will be coming to Xiao Tian's farm. I'm curious to see the son of my sister hehe," Ye Yun voice could be heard on the phone.

Su Wen said, "Dad is free right now? Isn't he busy with his work?"

Ye Yun said, "He already finish all his work, we're coming in one hour," the call ended.

Song Xia looking at Su Wen, who's been called by her mom, "Sister Wen, is your mom asking you to leave?" She asked.

Su Wen shook her head, "No, she said she will be coming with my dad soon," she said.

Song Xia eyes lit up, "Your dad is coming too? Is this what it's called Father comes to see Son-in-Law?" She said.

Su Wen glared at Song Xia, "Don't overthink it, it's not like we're dating," she said.

Lin Hua laughed, "Sister Wen, I wonder what's your dad going to do with Song Tian once he met him," she said as she knew Su Wen's dad is really overprotective when it comes to her daughter.

Song Tian went to the gazebo, looking at the girls were happily talking, "What are you girls talking about?" He asked.

Song Xia looking at her brother who just came from fis.h.i.+ng, "Brother, Sister Wen's parents are going to come here," she said.

Song Tian surprised, "Is that so? Alright, I'm going to the local market to get more ingredient. Su Wen, can you come with me?" He asked.

Su Wen nodded her head as she walks with Song Tian to the local market.

Looking at the back of the young man and young woman, Lin Hua smiled as she's happy for her best friend to finally get to know another friend she can trust.

On the road, Su Lei was driving his car while looking around, "This area is surrounded by hills, is there any wild animal living here? What if Xiao Wen encounters one of those?" he said as he worried about his daughter.

Ye Yun shook her head, "While there might be some wild animal, I doubt there will be ones near the residential area," she said.

Ye Yun continues, "Even if there's one, there's no way my sister's son gonna let it harm our daughter," she said as she knows how Zhu Mei's ferociousness back then, adding the fact that it was the fruit of her sister with that Song Chen.

Su Lei gulped as he also heard Song Chen and Zhu Mei's stories from his older brother.

Su Lei continues to drive but suddenly the car was slowing down, his face changed, "I forgot to fill the gas," he said as the car's stopped.

Ye Yun gasped, "How can you forget such a crucial thing? We almost reached the place, and there's no gas station nearby. Let's call Su Wen," she said.

Su Lei smiled bitterly, "Let's just call our driver," he said.

Ye Yun shook her head, "It'll take a long time for him to reach here," she said as she took her phone to call Su Wen.

At the cabin, Su Wen ended the call, "Song Tian, my parents are out of gas," she said.

Before Su Wen continues, Song Tian said, "Alright, I'm going to pick them up. Come with me, I never saw your parents before."

Su Wen surprised, "How do you know?" she asked as she's not even turning her phone's loudspeaker.

Song Tian laughed, "My ears are kinda sensitive," he said as he went to pick the car dolly and attach it on the back of his truck.

Several minutes later, Ye Yun saw a truck stopping nearby, and she can see her daughter is stepping out of it followed by a young man.

After her daughter walking closer, Ye Yun could see the features of the young man clearly. The young man was tall and handsome, she could see the young man in front of her also trains his body regularly.

"So he's my sister's son. His face really resembled my sister, only his golden eyes and body height are similar to Song Chen," Ye Yun thought in her mind.

Su Wen greeted her parents and introduced Song Tian to them.

Ye Yun looking at Song Tian, smiled, "You makes me remember my old day with your mom and dad, look at how tall you are," she said while scrutinizing Song Tian.

Su Lei glared at Song Tian, "Xiao Tian, we had to have a man talk later," he said.

Su Wen glared at her dad, "Dad, we're not dating," she said.

Su Lei gasped, "Who said you're dating with him? I just wanna talk with him," he said.

Su Wen blushed as she misunderstands her dad.

Song Tian smiled embarra.s.singly, changing the topic, "Anyway, let's get to my place first," He and Su Lei goes to attach the car to the car dolly.

At the Song Tian's farm, all of them arrived. Ye Yun surprised to see Lin Hua is here, "Xiao Hua, where have you been? I didn't see you coming over for a while," she said as she knew Lin Hua was the only friend of her daughter back then.

Lin Hua smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry, Aunty. I've been through a lot of things since my mom pa.s.sed away," she said.

Ye Yun shocked as she didn't know that Lin Hua's mom already pa.s.ses away, she consoles Lin Hua and saws a young woman who's taking a nap on the couch with a cat beside her, "Who is that young woman?" she asked.

Su Wen smiled, "That's Song Xia, she's the little sister of Song Tian. She's probably tired from playing too much with the cat," she said as she led her mom inside.

At the planted crop area, Su Lei is looking around while followed by Song Tian.

Su Lei glanced at the crops covered, "Xiao Tian, why are you covering the crops with this net?" He asked.

Song Tian said, "It is to protect the crops from being harmed by pest and bird. I don't want to use any chemical pesticide as it will affect the quality of my crop, so I use this for temporary measures until I got my hands on the organic pesticide."

Su Lei nodded his head, "That's a good mindset," he said as he went to the chicken coop with Song Tian.

Looking at the chicken wandering around in the fence, he frowned, "Xiao Tian, what are you planning with this chicken? There's only a few of them here," he asked.

Song Tian smiled, "I plan to produce eggs from them, each hen produced two eggs per day. I just started this farm, and not even one month has pa.s.sed. The chickens already produced a total of 78 eggs and two fertilized eggs that I already put on the incubator," he said as he led Su Lei to the inside of the chicken coop.

Su Lei surprised after hearing that Song Tian just started this farm and he saw a lot of eggs inside the storage.

On the way back to the cabin, Su Lei looked at Song Tian, "Xiao Tian, what's exactly your relations.h.i.+p with my daughter?" he asked.

Song Tian surprised to heard such question, "We're friend, didn't your daughter tell you we're not dating?" He said.

Su Lei said, "Really? Let me rephrase my question, did you plan to date my daughter?"

Song Tian shook his head, "I don't have any thought of dating anyone at this time. Uncle, you really worried about your daughter, huh?" He said.

At 7 PM on the dining table, Su Wen didn't saw Gao Zhao here, "Song Tian, where's Grandma Zhao?" she asked.

Song Tian swallowed his food, "Grandma Zhao is on my paternal grandparent's house right now," He said as Gao Zhao texted him earlier.

Ye Yun looked at Song Tian, "Xiao Tian, is there any empty land nearby? Su Wen already told me about this area, and it seems interesting," she said.

Su Lei surprised as he didn't know this, "Land? Xiao Yun, what are you talking about?" He asked.

Ye Yun said, "We're going to build our house in this area, from what Xiao Wen told me, this area has a lot of interesting places."

Su Lei looked at his wife, "Are you sure you want to build on this area?" He asked as he already knew his wife really bored with living in the apartment and wants to live in a proper house.

Ye Yun nodded her head, "Yes, I already saw the photos Xiao Wen took around this area. It's a nice area for us to settle down," she said.

Song Tian surprised as he heard the family decision in front of him, "Aunty, Uncle, I will ask my uncle if there's empty land nearby," He stood up as he took out his phone to call Zhu Jiang.

The call answered, and Zhu Jiang said, "Xiao Tian, what's up?"

Song Tian asked, "Uncle, is there any empty land nearby? My friend's parents asking me because they want to build a house in this area."

Zhu Jiang said, "Here I thought you want to expand your farm. Is it Xiao Hai's parents?"

Song Tian said, "No, it's Su Wen's parents."

Zhu Jiang said, "Surname Su? Is it Su Lei? Is he here right now? Give him the phone."

Song Tian walks to Su Lei, "Uncle, my uncle wants to talk to you," he said as he handed the phone to him.

Su Lei puzzled, but he took the phone, "h.e.l.lo."

Su Lei surprised, "Brother Jiang? Aiyo, how could I forgot that Xiao Tian's mom is from Zhu Family," he said as he knew Zhu Jiang was his older brother's best friend.

Several moments later, the call ended, and Song Tian looked at Su Lei, "Uncle, did you know my uncle?" He asked.

Su Lei laughed, "Of course, he's friend with my older brother," he said.

Ye Yun looked at her husband, "How is it?" She asked.

Su Lei smiled, "There is one, we're going to look at it tomorrow," he said.

At 11 PM, Su Wen's parents already left and they will come back again tomorrow to look at the land and the girls already sleeping.

Song Tian looked at Song Li who's still sleeping on the couch, "Hmm, it seems I need to get him his own bed later," He muttered as he covered the cat with a blanket and went to his bedroom to sleep.

In the morning after breakfast, Song Tian asked, "Xiao Yi, is there any quest related to garlic today?"

Song Yi giggled, "Master, there was one yesterday. You should've looked at quest list daily to see if there's an interesting quest listed," She said.

Song Tian smiled bitterly, and he looked at Song Li who just woke up, "Xiao Li, today we're going to the pet shop to buy you some bed and any related stuff for you," he said.

Song Li eyes widened, "Pet shop? How can you compare this Lord Tiger to a mere pet," he said.

Song Tian shook his head, he took out his phone and shows it to Song Li, "How is it? This is the bed I'm planning to buy for you, it's comfortable. There's also some toy for you to play," he said as he shows some cat bed to Song Li.

Song Li eyes lit up as he saw there's a lot of comfortable bedding in the picture, "Come on, let's go get this thing for me," he said.

Song Tian laughed, "Don't rush, wait for me to harvest my garlic first, then we're going there," he said as he went to get his container.

Song Tian walks to the planted area, and he opened the nets, and he can see the garlic is ready to harvest.

After several moments, Song Tian pulled the last garlic and put it in the container, "Hmm, now I had to cure the garlic," He thought in his mind as he read on the internet that garlic needs to be cured after being harvested to preserve it.

Even though he had the crop storage, he wants to experience this curing himself to learn something from it.

Song Yi said, "Master if you buy Book of Basic Crafting for Farm Volume 1, it might help you on this stuff."

Song Tian furrowed his brow, "Really?" He said.

Song Yi laughed, "Yes, there's also a lot of useful things you can craft. Master, you have to trust me on this. Your $10.000 won't be wasted," she said.

Song Tian smiled bitterly as Song Yi kept persuading him to buy the book almost every day, "Fine, let's buy the book," he said.

After Song Tian purchased the book, the book appeared in front of him. The book was really thick, it's like a dictionary or something.
