Song Tian opened the crafting book, and he can see there's a lot of things. He can see step by step at how to craft each item.

His face changed as he turns the page, he saw there's also guide at how to craft spirit medium to help him around the farm.

Looking at the required materials for it, Song Tian s.h.i.+vered as it needs a wandering spirit as material for it.

Song Yi giggled as she knew what's on Song Tian mind, "Master, it's only wandering spirit. What are you afraid of?" She asked.

Song Tian said, "It's not a matter of whether I'm afraid or not, Isn't it kinda cruel to let wandering spirit as a material to craft it?"

Song Yi laughed, "Master, we let the wandering spirit because they couldn't be reincarnated into their next life. Rather than wandering around the world, isn't it better to give them a new purpose? It's not like the wandering spirit will disappear, we give the spirit a medium to live a new life," she said.

Song Tian smiled bitterly, "Let's not talk about that, that's too much for me," he said as he turns back to the page one to note the important stuff he needed to craft.

Song Tian already noted several important stuff he needs to craft, and he's making a list of it on his phone.

After Song Tian finish listing the thing he needs to craft, he also turns the page into the material guide and taking the note to his phone.

- Gla.s.s: By heating sand in the furnace.

- Metal Ingot: A special ingot, the byproduct of Basic Furnace after heating any kind of ores.

"Phew, I only take note of the stuff I need to craft, and it's already a lot. I will try to see how much woods the Item Converter counts as x1, and then I will order some woods, stones and iron ores from Fatty w.a.n.g to craft the Basic Crafting Station," Song Tian said.

Song Tian went on the back of his cabin to pick the extra wooden plank left from building a gazebo. He took three wooden planks with a different size, "Xiao Yi, how do I know if it was converted or not?" He asked.

Song Yi answered, "Master, just look at the item stats, and you'll see," she said.

Song Tian looked at smallest wooden plank and beside it written [Wood x0.4], then Song Tian looked at slightly bigger plank [Wood x0.6]. Song Tian gasped, he took the biggest plank he got with three times size of the previous one and Song Tian could see [Wood x1] written on it.

Song Tian pondered for a moment, he picked the smallest plank and put it on top of the slightly bigger plank, then he can see [Wood x1], "Wow, if I didn't do this who knows how many woods I'm going to waste," Song Tian sighed in relief.

Song Tian starts to measure the plank, so he can order some of it from w.a.n.g Hai.

"As for the ores, I think I will order as much as I can," Song Tian thought in his mind as he didn't have any ore to measure it with item converter and he's texting w.a.n.g Hai to order the material from him.

In the afternoon, the woods, stones, and iron ores already delivered by w.a.n.g Hai's workers. Song Tian also just got back from the pet shop with Song Li and the girls.

Song Tian bought Cat Bed, Pet Fountain and Scratching Post, he also wants to buy a litter box for Song Li, but the cat refuses him as Song Li told him he can use the regular toilet. The girls also bought some cat brush and cat shampoo for Song Li to keep the cat clean.

After Song Tian finish installing the scratcher, Song Li immediately goes to play with it and jumping around the platform as the scratching post had 5 stories on it. There's also small tunnel in the scratching post for the cat to explore, this scratching post alone cost Song Tian $600.

Song Tian went outside to pick the ores in the container, he picks the size of his fist, and he saw [Iron Ore x1], he looked at the container to find a smaller one. Several moments later, Song Tian already knows the correct size of ores and stones to be counted as x1 on the item converter.

Song Tian brings the material needed to craft the Basic Furnace, but before he starts, he said, "Xiao Yi, show me the quest list."

Song Yi giggled, and the quest scroll appeared in front of Song Tian and listed all the side quest available for today.

Song Tian scrolled through the quest scroll, and his eyes lit up once he found there's some crafting quest, he takes the quest, and another quest scroll appeared in front of him.

Side Quest 13: Crafting Starter Kit.

- Quest Requirement: Craft Basic Furnace and Basic Crafting Station.

- Quest Rewards: Material Storage and Additional Stuff.

Song Tian starting to craft a furnace by following the book, step by step. After 30 minutes later, Song Tian put the last stone on the top, and the pile of stones started to glow and transformed into a furnace.

Song Tian surprised, "Wow, this is some black magic stuff," he said as he looked at the furnace in front of him.

The furnace didn't look very big, it's height only around Song Tian chest. There's also in front and on the right side of it, "Xiao Yi, how do I use this thing? What's the furnace used for its fuel?" He asked.

Song Yi answered, "Master needs to put ore on the front, wait for several minutes and ingots will come out on the right door. There's no need to fuel it, so you don't have to worry about that, master," she said.

Song Yi continued, "Master can also put various ores without measuring it as the furnace will counting it by itself. Let's say master put a total of 29.5 ores in it, the furnace will produce 2 metal ingots and keep the 9.5 ores inside it. When master put the 0.5 ore in it by then, it will process the previous 9.5 ores which stayed at the furnace."

Song Tian laughed, "So convenient? Nice, let's try it," he said as he shoves the bucket into ore container and he pours the bucket of ores into the furnace.

After he pours the ores into the furnace, there's small display on top of the furnace with [Metal Ingots x15] on it, "Xiao Yi, can I continue to put more ores inside this furnace?" Song Tian asked.

Song Yi answered, "Yes, you can make 100 ingots max on this furnace," she said.

Song Tian picks another ore with his bucket and pours it to the furnace until [Metal Ingots x100] written on the small display, Song Tian also gets some container and put it on the right side of the furnace for metal ingots to land.

10 minutes later, all 100 metal ingots already finished. Song Tian surprised to see the speed of this furnace, it takes 1 minute to makes 10 metal ingots.

Song Tian immediately starts to craft his Basic Crafting Station as he can't wait to complete the quest. He's lining up the woods and metal ingots according to the book, and it's glowing again.

Looking at the stuff he piles up glowing like that, Song Tian somehow satisfied by looking at it.

"Congratulations, master, for completing the Side Quest 13: Crafting Starter Kit." Song Yi said, and the scroll appeared in front of Song Tian.

Song Tian claims the rewards straight away, and the Material Storage appeared in front of him. The appearance of it didn't stand out as it's looked like a wooden trunk.

Song Tian went to pick his ores and pours it to the wooden trunk. Before the ores reach to the bottom of the trunk, the bottom part immediately changed into a black void as it sucked all the ores into it.

Song Tian surprised, he tries to put the woods into it, and similar things happened, "That's the dimensional pocket right? Xiao Yi, I have the feeling that I will acquire my own dimensional pocket soon, hehe," he said.

Song Yi laughed, "Just because master acquired some dimensional storage, doesn't mean you will get your own dimensional pocket. Crop storage also had dimensional s.p.a.ce on it, but you didn't get any dimensional pocket after that," she said.

Song Tian smiled bitterly as he remembers the crop storage also had a similar thing like the material storage, "Oh, that's right. How do I pick up the material from the trunk?" He asked.

Song Yi answered, "Master just have to open the farm interface, and any material master set will be shown on the trunk. For crafting, master doesn't need to take out the material as the material will be automatically put in the Basic Crafting Station when master starting to craft something," she said.

Song Tian looked closer at the big crafting station in front of him, "It also had power tools? Look at this huge radial arm saw," Song Tian surprised as he looked at the saw attached to the Basic Crafting Station. There are also other power tools such as angle grinder, disc sander, and many stuff.

Song Tian also looked at the 9 b.u.t.tons on the crafting station, it has many modes on it.

Song Tian already moved the Basic Crafting Station, Material Storage, and the Basic Furnace to the back of his cabin since Song Yi already told him it has the wheel function similar to crop storage.

Song Xia looked at her brother who's moving stuff, "Brother, what is that?" She asked.

Song Tian laughed, "It's the new toy I just got to show my crafting talent to the world," he said.

Song Xia said, "Crafting? Brother, you can't even fold origami correctly. What crafting are you talking about?"

Song Tian laughed, "Let's make something, I think it's time to show how capable your brother is," he said as he starts to craft the Mayonnaise Maker on the Basic Crafting Station.

Song Tian took out his phone to memorize the steps to make the Mayonnaise Maker, "Xiao Yi, where's the material?" He asked on his mind.

Song Yi answered, "Master, open the drawer below and the material required to craft the Mayonnaise Maker will be there," she said.

Song Tian opened the drawer and took the metal ingots. He's started to use the power tools as he follows the step he memorized earlier.

Su Wen and Lin Hua walked toward Song Xia standing on the back door, "Xiao Xia, what are you looking at?" Lin Hua asked.

Song Xia pointed her finger at Song Tian, "Look, my brother seems to be possessed. He said he wants to craft something when he can't even fold the origami correctly," she said.

Su Wen and Lin Hua saw Song Tian playing with the power tools. Su Wen looked at Song Tian, "Is it really possessed? He looks serious," she said.

Song Xia shook her head, "No way, Sister Wen, I know all my brother activities. I never saw him try to craft even once in my whole life," she said.

Song Tian heard what his little sister said, he laughed, "Xiao Xia, your brother only needs to learn it once to master it," he said as he continues to craft.

The girls were speechless by what Song Tian said to his little sister.

Several moments later, Song Tian finishes his craft. Looking at the cylinder shaped object on his hand, Song Tian nodded his head.

The Mayonnaise Maker he craft has a length of 65cm and width of 40cm.

Song Xia looked at the stuff on his brother's hand, "Brother, what is that?" She asked.

Song Tian said, "It's Mayonnaise Maker, hold it. I'm going to get some eggs on the fridge," he said as he handed the mayonnaise maker to Song Xia and went to get the eggs on the fridge.

"Xiao Yi, how much oil do I need to put on Mayonnaise Maker?" Song Tian asked.

Song Yi laughed, "Master, after you craft the items, at least look at it first before handing the items to your sister. There's small container inside the mayonnaise maker, put any oil you preferred inside it, and it'll last until you make a total of 10L of mayonnaise," she said.

Song Yi continued, "You can make 5 eggs to produce 1L of mayonnaise," she said.

Song Tian nodded his head as he brings five eggs to the backyard, he looked at Su Wen, "What's the best oil and seasoning for mayonnaise?" He asked.

Su Wen said, "There's canola oil in your kitchen as it's neutral oil, as for the seasoning, let me get it," she went to the kitchen.

After Su Wen's back with several ingredients in her hand, Song Tian took the oil from Su Wen's hand, "Xiao Xia, open the top part of it," he said.

Song Xia opened the top part, and Song Tian pours the oil inside the small container until it's full, he also asks Su Wen to teach him how to get the egg yolks.

After he put five egg yolks, Su Wen started to put some seasoning inside it, she looked at Song Tian, "Are you sure it's going to work if I put the seasoning first? How do I turn this on?" She asked.

Song Tian laughed, "Don't worry about that, just push the small b.u.t.ton there and it'll turn on," he said.

Su Wen pushes the b.u.t.ton, and she could hear the Mayonnaise Maker starting to let out a subtle sound.

After several seconds, Mayonnaise Maker letting out "Ding" sound and there's a green light on the bottom part, "It's done," Song Tian said.

Su Wen opened the top part of it, and she could see the mayonnaise is already done. She took the spoon and scoop it a bit to taste it, "Wow, it's done, and it's perfect," she said.

Song Tian laughed, "Alright, let's put this to the container," he said.

Song Xia who's been watching the process of making couldn't help but ask, "Brother, I can see the mayonnaise turned on. But I don't see you plugged any cable. Oh wait, there's no cable on it," she said.

Song Tian laughed, "There's no power required for it, it's some kind of device similar to what Grandma Zhao brings us to fly," he said.

The girls shocked to hear that the Mayonnaise Maker her brother crafted just now is a spiritual device like Granma Zhao had.

Song Tian went to craft the Crop Dryer for his garlic, it has the appearance like a huge oven. Song Tian put all his garlic inside to dry it without cleaning it because Song Yi already told him that the garlic would be cleaned automatically once inside the Crop Dryer.

At 4 PM, Su Wen's dad arrived at Song Tian's place after looking at the lands. On the couch, Su Wen asked, "Dad, how is the land? Are you going to build the house now."

Su Lei laughed at his impatient daughter, "We're moving tomorrow, I already contacted the moving company," he said.

Su Wen shocked, "Tomorrow?" She was sure that her parents are looking for empty land.

Su Lei smiled, "Yes, at first we're looking at empty land. But, after Song Tian's uncle told us there's a new villa built in this area, we looked at it and the villa, and it fits your mom's taste. Since it's new and your mom seems to be impatient, we bought it on the spot," he said.

Su Lei continues, "Your mom is in the villa right now with Song Tian's mom to design it. They will come here tonight," he said.

Song Tian shocked to heard that as his parents didn't tell him, they're already back.

At 8 PM, Ye Yun and Zhu Mei arrived at Song Tian's place.

Song Tian looked at his mom, "Mom, when did you coming back?" He asked.

Zhu Mei laughed, "We were back yesterday. Mom had some business with your dad after arrived here, so we forgot to tell you," she said.

Zhu Mei looked at the cat playing with Song Xia, "Is that a cat?" She asked as she went to Song Xia and took the cat.

Looking at the gray and black cat which had tiger pattern on its fur, "So cute, where did you get this cute spiritual beast?" Zhu Mei asked as she rubs the cat on its head.

Song Tian surprised to see his mom know the cat was a spiritual beast at one glance, "How did you know?" He asked.

Zhu Mei smiled, "Hehe of course I know," she said vaguely.

At 10 PM, Su Lei and Su Wen already left, bringing Lin Hua with them. Song Chen arrived at Song Tian's place not long after and decided to stay the night at his son's place.

In the morning, Song Tian could hear a construction truck nearby. He went outside to see it was fatty w.a.n.g's workers and they're clearing the land in front of his farm.

Song Tian walks toward them, "Hey, what are you guys gonna build on this land?" He asked.

Worker 1 said, "Young Master, someone asks us to build a small apartment in this area."

Song Tian surprised, "Apartment? Nice, that's mean I'll get a new neighbor!" He's said.

The only neighbor closest to him is Gao Zhao's restaurant. Now a small apartment being built nearby, he couldn't help but feels excited.
