One Night With The Prince 25 What Do You Mean She's Gone?

Ramon's eye broadens from confusion for what he just heard. 'What does she mean by gone?' He's bewildered and unable to think of what he was about to ask. He was still in a daze when he heard a voice behind him speaking to the nurse.

"Excuse me, Miss, what is the name of the person you mention just now? " Alexa came in time and heard the whole discussion, she's now in frantic, what if the nurse was talking about her and the person that was gone is her grandmother.

The nurse that was talking glanced up," are you by chance the Granddaughter? The one I spoke to over the phone? If you are, then I hate to notify you that your Grandmother is gone." She informs her indifferently staring at her straight in her face.

"What you mean, she was gone!" Alexa frantically asked tears forming in her eyes, voice cracking.

Ramon, trying his best to console Alexa with no luck. She's too emotional at the moment and shaking as she waited for the nurse response to her question.

"Well, right after I finished speaking with you, I went back to inform her that you're on your way, hold and behold when I got there, she was long gone. So, I don't know where she's at right now."

"What! Hahaha! So, you're telling me that she left without a word, gone as...she left, not dead! Hahaha!" Alexa was overjoyed after hearing what the nurse told her. She let out a sigh of relief before turning her attention to Ramon who's been a comfort to her the whole time.

"You hear that, right? She left, not dead! Hahaha! How about we get out of here, do you mind taking me home to see if she's there?" She was about to leave when the nurse calls her back. "Miss! Miss! There's this matter of the unpaid bills, and you need to take care of it before you could leave."

Alexa's face suddenly turned pale, hospital bills always cost a lot, and she doesn't have any money at the moment. The money she made from shadowing Ms. Garcia all went to pay for their daily necessities and rent. Where is she going to get the money?

Ramon saw Alexa's expression and had a suspicion of what's going on, and he knows her financial status. He did an investigation of her life for the last six-years plus what he knows back when they were in elementary. He decided to intercede, "Alexa why don't you try to contact your grandmother and let me settle the bill for you. You could pay me later when we get to your house." He added as to not embarra.s.sed Alexa in front of the nurses.

Alexa recognizes when someone's attempting to help, and she didn't argue with Ramon. Instead, she gave him a half smile before turning around to make a phone call. "Thank you!" She murmured as she pa.s.sed him by.

Ramon's face became red from the heat that emanated when Alexas muttered unto his ears. Her soft sweet voice was like the current of high voltage electricity... He knows he's in trouble if he was not able to control his emotion anytime soon...

Once all was settled, Ramon and Alexas hurriedly went home. Alexa had tried several times to contact her grandmother's cellphone to no avail. The only option left was to go back and check for herself if she did go home after escaping from the hospital without paying.

Pierre and Greta witnessed everything that had happened. Both were quick to report to their bosses what happened and asked for further instructions...

Lady Antella ordered Greta to pay a visit to Alexa's home as her representative and offer whatever help she needed. Issue an invitation for next day to meet with her at the hotel without letting Prince Alexander and Pierre know about it, or they might sabotage it once more.
