One Night With The Prince 26 I Have A Favor To Ask,

Alexa and Ramon made it to her home in a heartbeat. Ramon hasn't properly stopped the car yet before Alexa jump out and ran toward her house like the devil is chasing her. She was shouting as she enters the house."Grandma, are you home! Grandma, I'm home! Where are you?" What she saw was a dark house with not one light was turned on.

When no one responds,' maybe she's resting in the bedroom' she started to despair and hastened and opened the only bedroom in the house. "She's not here either; where could she go?" She mutters as she frantically explores the back of the house. She then anxiously ran towards their next-door-neighbor to see if anyone saw her grandmother.

She knocked on the door rapidly, *knock! Knock! Knock!* The door opens, and an older lady appears in front of Alexa. "Aunt Inday, did you see my grandma?"

Inday, shook her head vigorously, "I hadn't seen your grandmother since yesterday when she came and borrowed coupled of hundred dollars. I thought you came to pay. She told me you would pay today when you get done from your job? Do you have the money? The total is..."

Alexa could care less about the debt at the moment. What's more important is to find her grandmother. She's afraid that something had happened to her on the way home and could be laying on the street somewhere. On the way back to her home, she saw an old man and a couple of teenagers approaching.

"Uncle Lupe! Did you just come from playing Mahjong? By any chance did you see my grandmother there?...-Anyone? " Alexa's asking everyone that pa.s.sed by with tears flowing on her face. "Please, anyone...I beg you if any of you seen my grandmother..." Grandma Santos was nowhere to be found, and Alexa's getting concerned by the minute.

Ramon came back from inspecting the other side of the street, as soon as he saw Alexas's shamble feature, and tears flowing down her beautiful face, his heart started breaking. He wanted to comfort her, do something for her, but he doesn't know how he would go about it. If only he could find her grandma, it would solve the issue.

Alexa saw Ramon coming, and she ran toward in his embrace while crying hard. "Ramon, what am I going to do? I can't find my grandmother?"

Ramon who's stunned for a moment was rooted to the ground and unable to move. His two hand in the air, afraid to touch Alexa. "It's alright! Everything would be alright, and I'm sure she's somewhere safe. She's probably playing Mahjong somewhere." He jokingly told Alexa, hands still in up in the air like someone is robbing him. He kept his hands up as long as he could, but when Alexa started crying harder and started shaking...He has no choice but to begin comforting her by rubbing her back shoulder and brus.h.i.+ng her hair with the other hand.

Alexa felt comforted and started to feel at ease. She sighed a relief before breaking up with Ramon's embrace. While looking at him with her puppy eyes, "Ramon, can I ask you a favor?"

Ramon would do anything for her, she could ask him to jump, and he would ask how high. "Sure! What is it?" Looking at her with tenderness emitting from his eyes.

Alexa paused for a moment, contemplating if she should or not, she then took a breather before going for her favor... She looks at him straight on his face before seriously asked. "Can I borrow a couple of hundred dollars?" She then looked down as soon as the word came out of her mouth embarra.s.sed...
