One Night With The Prince 47 Dinner At The White House Part-5

Alexa's relaxing in a large jacuzzi tub with a s.h.i.+rt and short on, headphone on her head while singing along with her heart out. Not knowing she has an audience.

[1]"There goes my heart beating... Cuz you are the reason, I'm losing my sleep...Please come back now... I'd climb every mountain... And swim every ocean..." Alexa was having a ball singing and not realizing that Ria was there listening to her the whole time. As soon as the music ended, and she stopped singing. Ria started clapping her hand. *Clap, clap, clap!* It was loud enough for Alexa to hear and she hurriedly started looking for the towel to cover herself before turning around to look and see who's clapping.

A sigh of relief was heard from Alexa when she realized that it's only Ria and no one else around. "You scared the s.h.i.+t out of me. Do you know that? What are you doing sneaking on me like that?" Alexa curiously asked.

"I'm sorry that I startled you, but it's almost dinner time and your not ready yet. The hair-dresser would be here any moment and your still not ready." Ria reasoned to Alexa.

"I hear ya, let me just finished was.h.i.+ng up, and I'll be out there the soonest. Alright! Just hold the port, for now, give me about ten minutes, that's all."

"Understood! I'll be out here waiting and holding them up if they showed up." Ria left with a slight smile on her face.

Ten minutes later the sliding door to the adjoining room opened, and Alexa came out looking like a teenager wearing a short and t-s.h.i.+rt. "Are the stylist and hairdresser here yet?" Was the first word that came out of her mouth as she walks in from the bathroom.

"Nope, not yet! It should be any minute now. If you want to go ahead and find a dress for you to wear, therefore, you would be ready by the time they get here." Ria suggested while feeling uncomfortable doing so.

"That's a good idea, thank you! How about helping me choose what to wear? Truth to be told, I have no idea what I'm supposed to wear for dinner. If you do, please! help..." Alexa was giving Ria a Dowey look while pleading at the same time.

Ria was unsure if she should or not, but after seeing the way Alexa was pleading for help; She has no choice but to look around the vast clothing that was all hanging in the closet. She took out a dress with Floral printing that looks like a sundress. She raised it in front of Alexa to see what she would say and do if she likes to wear it o not.

"What do you think of this one? Simple, but beautiful. Especially with your height, I know you could pull it off." She asked Alexa with an excitement clearly showing on her face.

Alexa took the sundress and held it up to check. After carefully checking, she agreed that it's beautiful. However, after putting it on, - it looks like it's a little too short for her to wear on a dinner with the family. She walked around in front of Ria to see her reaction, "what do you think? Too short, right?"

Ria thought so too, she just nodded in acknowledgment, before looking for another dress for Alexa. A minute later, she hands Alexa a simple white cotton dress with long sleeve and longer than the first one.

Alexa took it, and with one look, she knew she would not like it once she put it on herself. Nevertheless, she still put it on to show Ria, this way she won't hurt her feelings for declining once again the second one Ria picked.

"No, right? What do you think?" Alexa asked Ria's opinion before she takes it off and hands it back to Ria to hang at the closet.

Ria starting to feel agitated, the two that she picked and thought would look good on her young boss, both failed. "Why is it hard to find a dress for her to wear? Either too short or too...Whatever!" She mumbles to herself as she tries to find another one, the last one. 'If whatever I find this time still does not meet her expectation or doesn't look good on her, I would just forget it, and wait for the stylist and hairdresser.' She thought to herself as she looks through the row of dresses in the closet.

Ria was still busy looking for another dress when she heard Alexa exclaim. "Ria! Forget it, alright! I change my mind." Alexa then left and went toward the bedroom followed by Ria who's still confused. 'What does she mean by forgetting it? Did she mean she's not going to dinner? No!!! She can't do that, and I'll be in trouble from The President.'

"Miss Grant, Alexa, could you clarify what you mean by forgetting it?" Ria asked anxiously.

"Where're all my clothes? The one that was here on top of the bed? Where did you put it?" Now, it's Alexa's turn to get anxious...

I put it back inside the suitcase where it came from. I put it over there." She pointed toward the side of the nightstand.

Alexa went and got the suitcase, put it on top of the bed once again and started going through it once more. After a while, it seems she found what she's looking for and "Wallah! This is what I'm going to wear tonight. They have to like me for what I am, and I'm not going to show up for dinner looking like a million dollar when I don't even have a penny in my name. Hahaha!"

After finding what she was looking for, she went back to the dressing room and changed before the stylist and hairdresser show up.

Alexa hurriedly put on the dress she bought at Divisoria [a market place where everything is a bargain] Once that was accomplished, she combed her long brownish hair and put it in a ponytail. Dub a baby powder on her palm and put it on her soft white face free of any pimples. To finished it off, she put on a little lite pink lip gloss, and she's done.

She was about to check the time and realized that she's not wearing a watch, so she looked for the one that grandmother Santos gave her for her sixteenth birthday, before putting on the flat shoes that she recently purchased for a job interview. By the time a knock at the door came, Alexa was already finished getting ready and about to head out for dinner with the First Family...

Ria opened the door only to inform the stylist and the hairdresser that their service was no longer required. They were not happy about it, and both complained that they were sent there by the First Lady itself. But, Ria was not having it and motioned to Lucas and Logan to get rid of them.

Both the stylist and the hairdresser were upset and was threatening Ria. "The First Lady will hear about this, and you better start looking for another job. I will make sure they fire you for not taking care of your charge." The stylist told Ria a little arrogant.

"Sure! Why not, get in line why don't you!" Was all Ria said before closing the door on them...

Lucas and Logan started laughing out loud as the two snooty people from the First Lady's camp left to tattle tell on Ria Flora...
