Regardless, the situation is different now. Giselle left Anna alone for a long time without informing.
On her way, Giselle saw Carmel leaving the room alone. They both crossed each other without offering any words yet, their gazes only spoke. Carmel softly nodded to Giselle and kept walking.
For a moment, Giselle felt weak against the encounter. Carmel never mistreated Giselle alone or in a group, but the fact that she went along with Bridgette's way made Giselle have a 'not-so-good' image of Carmel.
Giselle didn't let it affect her. For now, she wants to focus on Anna, the real friend she gained from recent events.
It was so hard for Giselle to remain composed as she neared her room and stood in front of the door, Giselle took a long deep breath, hoping for forgiveness.
Knock Knock
Giselle sent a signal before actually opening the door. She enters and sees Anna on her side of the room, preparing her things. Anna looked intensely focused; she didn't seem to care about the familiar ent.i.ty that entered the room.
Nevertheless, the mood instantly s.h.i.+fted from quiet to dense. Giselle felt Anna's seething waves preparing to attack her anytime. Anna's face appeared expressionless, her brows creased and gaze steadily fixed on packing her stuff.
"Anna?" Giselle calls despite holding in the fear after entering the room and witnessing Anna.
No response.
Anna remained quiet without responding.
Giselle didn't accept her silence and kept summoning her repeatedly.
Though Anna chose to stay quiet, the continuous efforts of Giselle got to her nerves.
"Don't talk to me, Giselle," Anna cuts her off with her single reply.
Startling from Anna's cut-through words Giselle didn't utter a word. She stood near the door, unable to react or move.
Anna resumed her work without glancing at Giselle, completely ignoring her presence.

Meanwhile, the guys have all returned from their dinner.
They chatted and were having fun when suddenly one of Josh's good friends and a fellow teammate questioned Diego.
"How come you are staying with us for a long time?"
"I thought you would soon leave us for your buddies, Lillian and Anna."
The random question threw Diego and all of a sudden it became silent, as everyone hoped to get an answer from him.
"Nothing like that; you guys are imagining."
Diego answered nonchalantly, expressing disinterest on that topic.
...
It is true, even during the campfire Diego saw Anna and Giselle together enjoying but he didn't join them and preferred to stay with Josh.
After some time, Diego yet again glanced over at Anna and found Giselle to be missing. His eyes quickly hunted the area to find no traces of her. However, this time also, he didn't react.
After several minutes, he took a peek at Anna and noticed her gloomy face. He understood that Giselle went somewhere else but Lillian-
Diego's mind struck when he detected that Lillian Grey is not available either. Even if he wanted to stay quiet about it without judging, his mind went overboard into making scenarios. All of his guesses ended up with Giselle and Lillian Grey being together somewhere else.
Just the thought alone bothered him. He did not show it out and retained his place with the boys. Soon, towards the end of the campfire, he saw Anna leaving as soon as Seth gave the announcement.
For once, he chose to be with the guys and not let his mind take over him.
However, it appears that the guys have also felt it.
Diego being away from his best friends for a long time.
Diego casually handled the question thrown at him and moved away. Understanding his actions, the guys followed him as they resumed their chattering.

Back in the room, Anna quietly worked while Giselle stood at the door without moving an inch. Tired from watching the girl arrested to her feet, Anna sighed.
"Are you going to stand there forever?"
"Don't you have things to pack? We are leaving tomorrow."
Anna's cold words tore Giselle away from the shunned zone.
Without saying a word, Giselle moved like a turtle, without disturbing the furious girl.
For the next thirty minutes, Giselle and Anna silently packed their things and left only the needed ones out. Since Anna started packing earlier than Giselle, she finished it soon and rested on her bed while playing on her mobile phone.
On the other hand, Giselle kept peeking at Anna with every move she took; her eyes seemingly apologetic and afraid, of Anna and her temper. It isn't like Anna did not notice it. She knew that Giselle had been glancing at her often.

Anna's anger slowly vanished, and softness filled the void. As mentioned in Lillian's memo, Anna believed that no one is capable of withstanding Giselle's crestfallen face. Within the next few seconds, Anna wondered where all of that anger has gone. She was furious upon Giselle and her disappearance.

When the Giselle informed Anna and left, Anna lost the interest to focus on the fun activities. She remained in silence along with the others, and bluntly watched the performance and acts, nothing made her happy.
It is because she missed her friends. Initially, for the campfire night, She expected Lillian Grey, but something inside told her that Lillian might or might not join her. However, being with Giselle, she felt comfortable, happy, and cherished the moment together. That was the whole point of joining such events.
Also, Anna saw Diego with Josh for a long time. One need not say anything more that it, Diego clearly expressed his feelings this time.
Now that Anna realized while standing alone amongst the groups, Diego and Lillian both used to behave in this manner when they were kids too.
These two fought rarely, but when they fight, both refuse to form peace and let go of it. Both are compet.i.tive and possess a fierce att.i.tude.
Anna recalled being the only one who used to act as the mediator and solve the issue after a series of efforts. That was childhood, and for silly stuff like how stole the chocolate and ate it. But, revisiting the same scenario as teenagers, Anna frowned deep within herself.
All of these clouded thoughts only annoyed her more and did not let her enjoy the events. Hence when Seth allowed kids to leave the place if they wished for, Anna became the first one to go. She returned to her room and waited patiently for Giselle.
She waited,
Waited,
And waited.
Anna started to pack her things as in to keep her awake and occupied without getting bored alone. As she began to pack, her anger slowly rose, and she wished to confront Giselle harshly.
What made her so mad?
The fact that not even a single message to inform Anna or the courtesy of letting her know so that she doesn't need to spend the last day of the trip alone, all of these made Anna boil in rage.
As she kept packing vigorously, she heard the knocking sound. Anna realized that the offender has finally arrived.
She never responded and stood still for a few seconds. However, shortly following the silence, Giselle opened the door. The dynamic stance dropped, and Anna focused on packing alone.
From the minute Giselle entered, Anna noticed every moment and reactions of her.
She appears to feel guilty of her actions and held a melancholic face throughout the whole time inside the room.
In the process of battling, Anna's violence ceased and watching Giselle's behavior; Anna resorted to making peace finally.
…
Giselle finished her packing and stood still near the bed as if she is waiting for the next command. Ever since Anna showed a little anger, Giselle lost her senses and behaved like a slave waiting to be pushed around by its master.
Finally, when no more anger left in her heart, Anna chose to speak.
"I a.s.sume that you were with Lillian Grey throughout the whole time!"
Giselle flinched at the voice and her senses restored, she quickly turned to face Anna.
Instead of responding, she only nodded honestly.
Anna sighed underneath, "I expected it."
Anna went on to explain that she visited Lillian Grey first after retiring the campfire and discerned that her friend wasn't there.
"You disappeared then she did, so I can only guess that you both met somehow," Anna noted, flipping her head sideways.
Before Giselle could explain herself, Anna continued, "Look, I'm not standing against you two. It was me who told that girl to at least meet you before we leave, so I get it. You two had some things to resolve."
Anna paused to take a glimpse at Giselle.
The girl wore stillness all over and listened attentively.
"All I expected was a single text from you. If you did that, I wouldn't have stayed all alone, trying to relish the warmth when none of my friends joined me."
"I'm sorry, Anna," Giselle's earnest apology reached Anna.
"Leave, it doesn't matter to me anymore."
"So, did you two resolve it at last?" Anna inquired.
"Mm," Giselle admitted.
"Finally, there won't be awkward silence anymore, you two-"
Anna shook her head in despair.
"Can I be honest and say this only once and for all?" Anna asked.
Giselle allowed and received a request from Anna, to never ignore her in the future.
"I won't do anything, just inform me if you are planning to ditch me and go with Lillian."
The words almost stung Giselle; Anna realized the effects and thought it should be sent as a warning to both if the two are planning to be close in the future.
That way, Anna shall not worry unnecessarily.
Giselle kept a gloomy face down until Anna asked if she had dinner. When Giselle replied, "no," Anna dragged her out quickly.
"Your punishment for dumping me tonight will be to eat your meal with me," Anna said while rus.h.i.+ng Giselle to the eating area.
The last day dinner included corn chowder and roasted pork.
Both Anna and Giselle shared dinner and resolved their fight.
They enjoyed the food.
Anna never asked what happened with Lillian Grey.
She never intended to because what is going on with those two is there personal issue and Anna felt unless either of them reaches out to her, she preferred to stay quiet.
