The two S-Cla.s.s Mages faced each other as on hand and one staff clashed with each other at the same time Laxus opened his mouth and spoke .

Laxus : Oh right . . . Do you know the rumours that have been flying left and right about who's the strongest in Fairy Tail, me or you .

Mystogan : I don't care for such things and if we go by your standards there are other strong Mages such as Gildarts Clive and Erza .

Laxus : Xaxaxax, Gildarts probably won't be coming back and Erza is on the right track but she's still weak .

Mystogan : You must be blind for calling Erza weak .

Laxus : To me you are the strongest here and the t.i.tle should go to either of us .

Laxus : What are we standing here for we should settle this once and for all . Isn't that right . . . Ehh, Mister . . . "Another-" . . .

Mystogan suddenly looks alarmed and shoots light out of his Magic Staves at Laxus . Laxus countered Mystogan's attack with his own Lightning Magic, causing rumbling and explosion from the cathedral which Natsu, Gajeel, Mira and Erza see from a distance .

Mystogan : You will regret this . . . Be prepared Laxus as you are about to see Magic you never have seen before .

Laxus : Heh bring it!!!!

Mystogan sets his five Magic Staves on the ground and casts Skysc.r.a.per causing Laxus to suddenly float above the crumbling and light-enveloped cathedral .

He is suddenly surrounded by darkness and after a few seconds, he saw a slit opening and an eye and claws appearing .

Laxus tried to move but he was bound by belt-like tendrils . A huge reptilian monster crawls out of the slit and reaches for Laxus who's expressing his shock about Mystogan's Magic .

Screams could be heard from Laxus as Mystogan was watching the dark curtain of his magic circle, inside just when the monster was about to grab the b.l.o.o.d.y Laxus, he grinned before lightning flickered and the scene disappears in pieces .

Laxus guffaws as he dispels the illusion induced by Mystogan with no visible injury ar all .

Mystogan : Impressive abilities but you noticed a moment too late .

The Five Magic Seals of Mystogan's Five Layered Magic Circle: Sacred Song appear above Laxus .

Laxus : Which one of us didn't notice??

When he heard that a magic seal also appears from underneath Mystogan . But Laxus could see that Mystogan didn't care at all and both of them were hit by each other's Magic . [4]

An explosion occurred that that caused Natsu, Gajeel, Erza and Mira to see flashes of fighting towards the direction they were getting . . .

When the smoke was cleared, Laxus had light wounds while Mystogan had none, all Laxus could see was parts of Mystogan's body turn into a mist . . .

Laxus : This??

The moment of losing concentration was something Laxus will deeply regret as Mystogan appeared from the mist behind him and perform some hand signs, in which multiple purple waves of energy appear from the ground and move to envelop Laxus .

Mystogan : Let your arrogance be destroyed . . . Ground-Shattering Wave!!!!

Laxus : Aaaa . . . . Aaaahhhhhrrrgggg!!!!!

Laxus body started shaking violently and bulking from the purple energy entering inside him and shredding his insides in the form of vibrations . . .

At that moment Erza, Mira, Natsu and Gajeel were closed enough to hear the screams of Laxus and they could finally see each other as they had almost arrived outside . . .

Inside Mystogan withdrew his hands as Laxus was steaming with smoke from his magic and started falling forward . . . Mystogan started walking away from his spot but soon felt his instincts screaming and dodged to the right . . .

A bolt of Lighting pa.s.sed by and almost hit his face as Erza and the others entered inside and saw the mask of Mystogan becoming ashes slowly . . .
