Super Lazy System 17 Bai Dong'er: I'm A Badass!

Why did it always have to be like this? All I ever wanted was to avenge myself, for him to take me seriously. But this... He was mumbling like a mad man. This is a fight what the h.e.l.l is he thinking.

I did manage to catch a few words here and there. But, it just didn't make any sense. "System," "Never there for me," and "Useless." Was he mad? I wouldn't put it past him. No, that doesn't matter, I just need to avenge myself, if he doesn't want to pay attention to me I'll make him!

"Bai Yi prepare yourself the Dong'er is coming in full force." Oh G.o.d, what am I saying? How? Just how do I always manage to embarra.s.s myself like this? Embarra.s.sing words just keep slipping out. To make matters worse the crowd goes crazy every time, how mortifying. Danmit I can feel my face turning red, keep cool Dong'er keep cool. Don't let it show. NEVER LET IT SHOW. 99.9% of the time you're the only one who thinks it's embarra.s.sing, if they don't realize you're ashamed, they won't think anything of it. Returning my focus to Bai Yi, I realize that I just left myself wide open. Luckily it seems he's still mumbling something. This is my chance. I'll keep my mouth shut and attack.

Taking out my knife, I prepare the Extending-Donger attack! Oh, G.o.d how I hate that name. I can't even change it, after all, if I did people might then realize how to stupid it is.

Shaking any unnecessary thoughts aside, I shoutout my attacks name, "Extending-Donger attack!" I watch as my knife extends quickly reaching Bai Yi. Sadly, he notices my attack, and answers with a punch? "Why a punch?" I ask myself not comprehending that logic, wouldn't a magical technique, be the best way to defend himself? He could use a s.h.i.+eld made out qi, or summon the earth to defend himself. Yet, all he does is punch it.

"Bai Yi, how dare you underestimate me! I'll have you know I'm a bada.s.s, who you can't afford to undermine like this." Oh G.o.d, here I go embarra.s.sing my self again. I mean who the h.e.l.l calls themselves a 'bada.s.s' and lets not even...

I bear witness to the most unbelievable sight, shocking me out of my thought. Apparently, his fist was moving at such a speed that it created some kind of barrier made out of the wind. It prevents my blade from even touching his skin. Unbelievable, that can happen? Well, it is happening, and oh... I'm being pushed back again. Oh... it appears I'm past the edge. Oh... c.r.a.p.

Letting, go of my knife I see it flying into the crowd hopefully it doesn't hit anyone. I focus all of my attention into manipulating the hard-stone, while it might be a material that even someone in the Immortal realm could not easily destroy. But, manipulating it was possible, after all, how else could this stage be built.

Manipulating just enough that it catches my fall, that should keep me from getting disulfide right? "Cus.h.i.+oning" my fall on the hard-stone, I stare at my hated foe. "Bai Yi, I'll crush you with my Cras.h.i.+ng Donger attack." Following, my embarra.s.sing words, the ground around Bai Yi starts to morph, transforming into an enclosing jaw. A multihued of razor-sharp teeth surface, around the jaw giving it the appearance of a shark going in for the kill.

"That's, cheating!!! CHEATING I SAY!!!" Bai Yi hysterically shouted. One of his devious plots, I'm sure, "If there's one thing a handsome scholar like me hates its cheaters!" He stated while throwing another monsters punch.

Narrowing my eyes, I prepare counters measures, in case my "Cras.h.i.+ng Donger" fails. "That won't work this time Bai Yi," I tell him, while secretly being happy about not saying anything embarra.s.sing.

But, none of the countermeasures where needed, Bai Yi's punch did nothing. That's, right nothing? Then he was promptly struck by the enclosing stone maw. This wasn't right, that was far too easy. It must be a trick, yes another sly trick. Well, I won't fall for it this time.

With a proud smirk, I embarra.s.singly declare, "Bai Yi, that won't work on me. I'll show why they call me supreme master Dong'er." Waving my hand I perform another Crus.h.i.+ng Donger technique. The ground rumbles, while a much larger portion of the ground transforms into large shark like teeth.

"Gasp," I gasp while trying to catch my breath, most of my cultivation base went into that attack. But, I've won, I know it, no one could survive that. "Hahaha, I did, I actually did it!. Dong'er is victories! Dong'er is vic-victories!" Stroking the shallow scar accors my left eye, memories swell up. Memories of gaining this scar, the countless hours of training, and my many, many defects. But, I did it, I finally did it.

Always feeling inferior, being ashamed of everything I say, believing I wasn't deserving of all the praise thrown my way. Well, screw that! I did deserve every bit of praise. I worked hard, harder than anyone, and this is my proof.

Murmurs rose up within the crowd, "The Bai clan monster was defeated impossible." A young cultivator from the Bai clan said.

In case you somehow forgot he was the most brilliant member of the clan, never defeated in battle. You should seize this opportunity to widen your horizon.
