Way To The Heavens 52 Speed Demon

"It is Long Yue's turn do you think he will win?" Chen Li asked

"Even though his opponent is probably faster. I think he will win. That is why I am putting all my money on him." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"Yeah, he might be slower but his martial arts and fighting experience are not to be underestimated." Lee Zheng said.

"Okay then, I will also put all my money on him." Chen Li said.

Long Yue was slowly walking toward the fighting stage. The closer he got to the stage the louder the cheers got.

'I have to win this. I can't let everyone down.' He thought to himself as he walked to the stage.

"Ladies and gentlemen. I hope you are ready for the third fight this evening. This fight is between the speed demon who is 2 for 1 and between yet another newcomer, the leopard fighter." The announcer said.

"Hmpf, little boy you better get out while you can." The speed demon said.

"I hope you have all placed your bets because the fight is about to begin and once the fighting has started you can't place any bets anymore." The announcer said.

'This battle arena is making big money with all these bets.' w.a.n.g Wei thought to himself.

"Fighters are you ready?" the referee asked.

Both fighters nodded their heads very calmly.

"Alright, begin!" the referee said.

Right at the start of the fight, the speed demon's first soul jewel lit up. It was an orange soul jewel. Not as transparent as Lee Zheng's soul jewel but it wasn't solid. That meant that is was older than one-hundred-years but younger than nine-hundred-years.

He ran toward Long Yue at an incredible speed. It was not normal. When he arrived before Long Yue he hit him. Long Yue was launched backward. In the air, he spat out a mouthful of fresh blood.

"Little boy, I warned you. My first soul technique increases my speed by ten percent." The speed demon said.

"Is that all you've got?" Long Yue said.

"You want more? Okay." His opponent said before speeding toward him.

This time, however, Long Yue summoned his holy claws and he was able to block the opponent.

"I also have a skill which makes me faster." Long Yue said.

"Alright, I will have to go all out." The speed demon said.

The next moment his second soul jewel lit up. This was also an orange soul jewel but it was a bit lighter than the first one. His body suddenly lit up with a dazzling light. Everyone closed their eyes. When they opened their eyes again there were two, speed demons!

"This is my second soul technique. It is called speed clone." The speed demon said. "Get ready."

Both speed demons their bodies swayed once and they were already upon Long Yue. They both threw out a punch to Long Yue's arms with the intention of breaking them. "Impossible!" the speed demon yelled out as he made his way toward Long Yue again.

But this time Long Yue's first soul jewel lit up and slashed at the air in front of him five crimson-red, flaming slashes appeared in the air and made their way toward the speed demons.

The original speed demon used his clone as a human s.h.i.+eld to block the attack. His clone exploded on impact. Due to his clone being destroyed the original speed demon spat out a mouth of blood and fell to the ground.

Long Yue wasted no time and sped toward his opponent.

However right before he reached his opponent, the speed demon threw out a kick. It was so unexpected Long Yue couldn't react and he also fell to the ground.

The speed demon stood up and sped away. When Long Yue was on his feet again. The speed demon's first soul jewel lit up again.

He ran toward Long Yue but this time before he hit Long Yue he switched his feet and kicked Long Yue's leg.

It was not a kick with much power but because of the speed, it hit hard. Long Yue fell down.

But when he stood up he had a look in his eyes which could be described as disgust.

He was disgusted by the dirty technique his opponent used.

He stood up but he didn't move. His opponent sped towards him again. However, this time Long Yue jumped up and started spinning. He spun three times and at the end of the third spin he threw out his leg. He hit his opponent on the head and it knocked him out.

"Wow! What was that?" Chen Li asked.

"That is the triple twist technique you learn when you practicing Jongh martial arts. It is the first martial arts technique I ever learned but it is extremely powerful as you can see." w.a.n.g Wei said.

The speed demon lay on the ground unconscious.

"The winner of this fight is the leopard fighter. This is unbelievable all the newcomers today have all won their first fights." The announcer said.

When Long Yue arrived at the resting room the same man that was awaiting Lee Zheng and w.a.n.g Wei, was also awaiting him.

He gave him the prize money and was very polite.

"I sincerely hope you and your friends decide to keep fighting in our arena." The man said. "Apollo, you are up next. I will be cheering for you."

"Okay, guys. Wish me luck." Chen Li said.

"You don't need luck. You can defeat your opponent just as we defeated ours." w.a.n.g Wei said.
