Way To The Heavens 53 Fairy Prince

As Chen Li was walking toward the fighting stage he put on his mask.

'I have to win! The others won I can't embarra.s.s myself.' He thought to himself.

He arrived on stage as the announcer was in the middle of telling the information about the fight.

"….Yet another newcomer Apollo. He will be up against the fairy prince who is two in o." the announcer said.

As soon as the ladies in the crowd heard the name fairy prince they lost their minds.

"Is it really the fairy prince?"

"He is so handsome." Could be heard throughout the crowd.

But it was nothing compared to when the fairy prince finally stepped on stage. The cheers all the ladies screamed out were so loud the announcer had to wait for the cheering to calm down before he could continue.

"This is the last fight today. So I hope you will all enjoy this and visit us again." He said.

"Are both fighters ready?" the referee asked.

The fairy prince nodded and Chen Li summoned his blazing sun soul form.

Everyone was in awe as the blazing sun lit up the entire arena and had a holy aura to it. Even the referee was stunned to see such a beautiful soul form.

After a second he began the fight.

The fairy prince's first soul jewel lit up. It was a light orange soul jewel. The next moment two illusory fairy wings appeared on his back and an illusory crown on his head. His presence could be felt by everyone. It felt like a righteous overlord. He gave off a gentle glow which made him look even more handsome.

"This is my first soul technique called illusory fairy. It boosts my abilities by ten percent." The fairy prince said.

"So what." Chen Li said as his first soul jewel lit up.

The sun above his head also started to glow up. In just a moment. Three solar flares shot out. One to the right, one to the left, and one above the fairy prince blocking all his possible escape paths. The fairy prince quickly retreated and as he did his second soul jewel lit up. It was an even lighter orange soul jewel.

The next moment he sped up and appeared before Chen Li in an instant. He hit him right in the guts and Chen Li flew backward.

"This is my second soul technique. It's called fairy steps. It increases my speed even more." The fairy prince said.

Chen Li quickly got to his feet.

When he got up his second soul jewel lit up. The sun above his head hardened and he took it in his hand. He then threw it at the fairy prince.

The fairy prince scoffed and threw out his left arm to block the incoming projectile but right before it hit his hand the small ball exploded and he was blasted away.

A giant dust cloud arose as the impact of Chen Li's nova was even bigger than before. When the dust cloud settled down the beautiful lights the explosion gave off were still visible.

The fairy prince stood at the edge of the stage. His illusory fairy was gone and his second soul jewel also didn't work anymore. He exhausted almost all of his soul energy to stay conscious. He only had a little bit left. He could only keep his illusory fairy technique up for a mere five seconds.

When Chen Li saw him still standing he knew that he couldn't have that much soul energy left. Even though he too exhausted quite a bit with that attack he still had more than enough to continue the fight. His fist soul jewel lit up again and this time only one solar flare shot out but it was bigger than the three before.

'This is probably his final push. The solar flare can only hit me for one moment. After that, I can attack him.' The fairy prince thought.

His first soul jewel lit up and the illusory fairy appeared again. He was. .h.i.t by the solar flare and after that, he sped toward Chen Li. But just before he arrived the sun above Chen Li's head lit up again and another solar flare shot out causing him to stop dead in his tracks. After the second solar flare, he only had one second left of the illusory fairy. He did an all-out strike.

Chen Li saw the fist that was coming closer and closer. Right before the fist came into contact with his face he smiled. He quickly ducked down and let the fist fly past him. He then stood up straight again and released another solar flare.

Direct hit!

He hit the fairy prince head on. This caused the fairy prince to fly backward. When he hit the barrier of the fighting stage he slowly slid down and just lay there.

"The fairy prince is unable to fight. This victory goes to Apollo." The referee said.

This caused an uproar. All the newcomers today were incredible they all won their first fights.

When Chen Li got back to the room the same man was standing there yet again.

"Congratulations on your win. This interspatial ring contains the same amount of money your friends got." The man said.

He then walked in the room. His three friends were there to congratulate him.

"Congratulations Chen Li." The three boys said.

"It's nothing. We are students of jade academy. Of course, we would all win." Chen Li said.

"Thanks to you three I have more than enough money for a super good martial art technique." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"Same here." Lee Zheng said.

"Yeah me too." Long Yue said.

"It certainly was a good idea to bet on each other." Chen Li said. "We should do this every time."

"Of course, but next week we are going to the auction house." w.a.n.g Wei said. "I want to get a really strong martial arts technique or some cultivation resources."
