UNEXPECTED 39 The Dinner

At exactly five, Jiseok got out of his car and approached the door.

"Good evening young master". Mrs Lan greeted him.

"Aunty Lan, how have you been? You still look much younger". He hugged her. Mu Lan smiled and hugged him back, "I'm okay, I see you still have that sweet tongue of yours". She smiled.

"You know me Aunty Lan, oh yeah where's Tan?"

"She's in her room I'll send someone to go get her, just relax".

Mu lan called one of the maid and told her to go get Taner. Jiseok was playing with his phone when he heard the most sweetest voice that belongs to Taner.

"Shall we or like they say in Spanish, Debemos". Jiseok looked up and was speechless, he couldn't take his eyes off her as he examined her from head to toe and back to her face. Seeing those eyes reminded him of his lost love, they looked so similar with the same eyes and hair colour.

He cleared his throat and stood up, "Vámonos (let's go)" extended his hand to take hers and walked out together.

"I see you've done your homework too", Taner shouted following after him. On seeing his car, Taner couldn't close her mouth, it was a gold and black Maruti Suzuki Alto k10. He opened the door and stared at her.

"Are you going to get in or should I force you in?"

"Oh my gos.h.!.+ How many cars do you freaking have?"

"Umm.... I've lost count of them, are you a fan of cars too?"

"yes but I love bikes more". She said excitedly raising her hands to her chin making her beautiful bracelet reflect under the sun ray. Jiseok was stunned and grasped her hands tightly looking at the bracelet, he looked at her necklace too, he could remember that day clearly like if it was just yesterday..

"I have a surprise for you, close your eyes". He said smiling. She happily closed her eyes, he took her hands and wore her the bracelet, "you can open your eyes now".

She opened her eyes and smiled brightly, "Wow!"

"Do you like it?" he asked nervously.

"I don't like it, I love it, thanks seok seok". She jumped and hugged him tightly peeking his cheek. Jiseok face turned red in embarra.s.sment, he coughed slightly and ruffled her hair, then he raised her hands and showed her the side of the Swan with the initials, 'T?J', "It's one of a kind because I made it specially for you and put our initials too so it's the only one of its kind in the world".

"Wow! Don't worry seok seok I'll take care of it because you gave it to me, it's now my priceless possession". She smiled brightly looking at the bracelet.

"Where did you get this?" Jiseok asked angrily holding her hands with the bracelet.

"It's none of your business, let go of me you are hurting me!" Taner tried to remove his hands but with no avail. Jiseok looked at the bracelet carefully and bent it to the side more shocked to see the initial clearly. He looked at her and couldn't find the right word to say.

"You want to really know then fine! My love gave it to me! That's all I can tell you". Taner said with tears in her eyes. Jiseok was more stunned, he looked at her carefully and whispered, 'my Taner', he caressed her cheek lovingly.

"What are you doing!"

Only then did Jiseok finally regained his senses, 'it can't be her, could it? I'll have to investigate later to confirm this', he thought to himself before letting her go and entering the car.

"What the heck just happened?" Taner stood there dumbfounded holding the bracelet tightly near her heart. Only when she heard the car horn before she regained her senses and entered the car.

The atmosphere in the car was awkward and quiet, as they both sat down trying as much not to make any eye contact, with Jiseok focused on the road and Taner meddling with her bracelet.

'It can't be my seok seok, could it? It's just a coincidence that they have the same name, right? Yes that must be the case', Taner thought to herself stealing side glances at Jiseok, shocked as their eyes locked. They looked at each other intently each one in their own thoughts. A car honk before Jiseok took his eyes off her and continued driving.

They finally reached the restaurant and came down together as Jiseok tossed his car key to the valet. They entered inside the restaurant together and a waiter immediately rushed to them. Everyone was shocked to see the famous Kim Jiseok Rodriguez, the ruthless, heartless, cold and devilishly handsome billionaire, the CEO of Ji Enterprises Ltd and heir to the Kim Enterprises also brother to the world best popstar, Jimmy, who has never been seen with a woman now with a very beautiful woman. All the women here couldn't help but be jealous of her and the men couldn't help but salivate over her.

"I thought people said he was gay". One woman couldn't help but ask the other woman besides her.

The Spanish investors finally arrived, Taner happily stood up and welcome them, "Bienvinido, espero que hayas disfrutatu tu estancia (welcome, hope you enjoyed your stay here)".

They all smiled and replied, "si lo hicimos (yes we did), Corea es un lugar hermosa (korean is a beautiful place)".

"Me alegro que hayas disfrutatu (i'm glad you enjoyed it)". Taner replied smiling.

"Eres muy hermosa, perder Taner (you are very beautiful miss Taner)". One of the investors said, Taner blushed a little and thanked him. They ordered Spanish food and ate happily, joking and laughing sometimes using English so Jiseok could understand.

After the dinner,

"Muchas gracias por permitirnos disfrutar nuestro último día aquí (thank you so much for allowing us enjoy our last day here)", the investors thanked them wholeheartedly.

"El placer es todo nuestro, esperamos que tengas un viaje seguro de regreso (the pleasure is all ours, we hope you have a safe trip back)".

They said their final goodbye before entering their car and leaving.

"Well.. I guess it's just you and me, let's go". Jiseok said. Taner smiled and nodded as he took the key back from the valet and opened the door for her to enter, before entering and driving off.

"I've transferred two million to your account, you did a wonderful job". Jiseok smiled.

"Thanks".

"Sorry about earlier, it just reminded me of someone very important to me". Jiseok apologize.

"Your mom?"

"No, my mom died when I was twelve".

"I'm sorry, what about your dad?"

"You ask a lot of questions miss Val, maybe if you stick long enough you'll get the full story".

"You are no fun". Taner pouted. Jiseok laughed watching her act adorable, it reminded him so much of his first love, 'it would be nice if it was her', he thought to himself. The rest of the ride was fun with them talking about different things and joking.
