Jiseok was currently in his office very busy with work when Taner knocked and walked in.

"Excuse me sir, your father is here to meet you". Taner politely said.

"I'm busy send him back".

"Even though I don't know what happened between you and your dad, he's still your father and for your information your only parent still alive, you should hear him out before it's too late and you end up regretting and blaming yourself, think about what I said you still have a chance don't lose it". She sighed and left his office. Jiseok sat there dumbfounded thinking deeply about what she said, 'd.a.m.n must she always make sense', sighing he took the office phone to call her.

Meanwhile,

Taner walked inside her office sadly, "I'm sorry Mr Kim I tried but Jiseok is still adamant on not seeing you".

"it's okay I don't blame him if he hates me forever, thanks for trying I'll take my leave now". Kim got up sadly to leave. Tanèr picked up her phone and was surprised and happy, she immediately ran after Mr Kim, "Mr Kim please wait...he agreed to meet you..." she said breathless.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!! We finally did it!!".

"Thank you very much miss Lu, I'll go in right away wish me goodluck". Kim quickly hurried to Jiseok office excitedly.

"Good luck Mr Kim!" She yelled after him, 'I hope everything works out for them', she sighed before entering her office.

In the office,

Kim Taemin stood outside Jiseok office and took a deep breath. He was very nervous to see his son; this would be their first normal interaction after so many years. He prayed deep down and hoped for the best before finally knocking on the door. He knocked and waited for ten minutes, he was about to leave thinking he changed his mind when he heard a deep cold voice.

"Come in".

He took another deep breath before entering the office, 'it's now or never', he said in his mind.

"Thank you for agreeing to meet me". He said.

"Don't thank me yet, you should thank your follower, now as you can see I'm very busy so hurry up and say what you want to and leave".

Taemin calmed himself down before sitting on the couch, he cleared his throat, "Before I begin, I want you to know that I'm very sorry for what you pa.s.sed through, if only I could turn back the clock I would but sadly I can't", he paused and look at Jiseok who coldly snouted, "There is something I want you to know before anything, the secret that me and Eun_Ae kept from you for a long time", he paused again, "Eun_Ae, your mom loved you and Jiho so much but life as a different ending for us, what I want to tell you is a very sensitive thing and I want you to take this secret to your grave, it is also the reason why your mom dad". Hearing this, Jiseok stared at his father stopping what he was doing.

"Your mom kept this secret from me too until I discovered it myself, I know it doesn't make up for the reason why I behaved the way I did but I hope you understand".

______FLASHBACK TWENTY FIVE YEARS AGO___

Taemin happily entered the house after having a stressful day in work, his hard work finally paid off and he couldn't wait to tell Eun the good news.

"Darling I'm home!" he yelled excitedly raking off his shoes but to his surprise, he didn't see Eun who was always waiting for him. "Hmm..maybe she went to the market or in the room, I will just check". He looked at the doc.u.ment in his hand and smiled. He entered the room but she wasn't there, he checked everywhere but he couldn't find her. He called her phone but surprisingly she left it at home, "I wonder where she ran off to that she even forgot her phone, oh well I'll just wait for her", he thought to himself and sat on the couch watching TV as he waited for her.

He woke up suddenly when he heard a noise in outside the house. He looked at the time and it was already two a.m. He heard sound again from outside and hurriedly went to check it.. He could never forget what he saw that day. There laid his beloved wife covered in a pool of her own blood, she was so pale that she was already turning white. He hurried ran and picked her up, he was even more shocked because she was already as cold as a dead body. Her beautiful blond her was turning white and she was covered with so many injuries...and blood. He quickly picked her unconscious body up and carried her carefully to their room turning on all the heaters. "Who the f.u.c.k did thus to you?" he angrily said, "I'll kill every freaking one of them!" he quickly bought out his briefcase with treatment and started treating her.
