Xiao Jun's hand froze midair as he didn't believe what he had just heard. Never in million times, Xiao Jun would have thought Qianru would say something like that.

Stubbornly Xiao Jun took a step forward to approach her, but Qianru took two steps back.

"Don't come near me." She said sternly as she glared at him there was hatred in her eyes.

Yes, Xiao Jun didn't see it wrongly. He saw hatred in those eyes. But, how could that be possible? Qianru that he had known for more than half of his life would never see him in such way.

She would get angry or upset at him, but never hatred.

All this time, no matter what he did and how he treated her, she would smile and was being very understanding.

"What do you mean don't touch you?! You are my wife!" Xiao Jun emphasized the word of wife to remind Qianru about her status, his voice raised up as he took another steps forward. "Were you really with him last night!?"

Xiao Jun didn't mean to snap at her, however to be reminded about the scene last night when Qi Xunyi carried her, he couldn't help but feeling the uncontrollable anger arose within him.

Qianru took another step back to avoid him as she crossed her arms in front of her chest, didn't want to be touched. "You even don't trust me." She said mockingly.

"What I saw last night wasn't like 'nothing happened' in my eyes!" Xiao Jun shouted at her and this would be the first time he was losing control upon himself after many years. He had never been this angry to Qianru before.

Qianru didn't say anything after she heard Xiao Jun's accusation, she stood still as the disappointment appeared in her eyes.

It was very clear to see for Xiao Jun how much his word had hurt her, it surprised him too, but the next second Qianru's eyes turned cold as she continued to talk callously.

"Just tell me when I will go back to Azura and leave this room. I don't want to see you." She enunciated her words without any traces of emotion.

Clenching his fist until his nerves protruded, Xiao Jun turned around and replied nonchalantly. "I will tell you when you will go back." He said as he stormed out of the room, however he stopped and glared at the flowers that filled the room. "Are these flowers from him?!"

He had wanted to ask about the flower since he came into this room, but because Qianru was sleeping, he waited until she woke up.

Qianru's silence answered as if she was saying 'yes' out loud in front of him and that didn't make his mood better, if anything, Xiao Jun was livid now.

"Don't you ever think to meet him again!" He warned Qianru before he slammed shut the door.

The wooden door was shaking because of the brute force from Xiao Jun for a few second before its still. Qianru thought it would crumble.

Qianru didn't feel any better after their first argumentation, but she didn't feel guilty either, the new feeling for her to feel that she still figured out.

Tiredly, Qianru sat on the chair as she rested her forehead on the table and closed her eyes.

From this point, everything would be different, whether she returned to Azura or not, seemingly the relations.h.i.+p between them would be over.

Not even a word of 'childhood friend' could save them now.

"Is it really over?" Qianru whispered to herself as no one was there to answer her.

"Prince Xiao Jun, you have to stop this!" Mo Xuan Fei was chasing after the livid Xiao Jun. The later was determined to find Qi Xunyi and killed him for became so daring to touch his wife.

Xiao Jun couldn't hear his words as his ears buzzing with Qianru's warning to not touch her!

How she could say something like that!? What they had done!?

Xiao Jun couldn't bring himself to ask Qianru as he was afraid to hear her answer and lost control, because it would be ended with him hurting her.

But if it was Qi Xunyi, he would be more than welcome to finish him off. That man should be killed when Xiao Tianyao took down the Xinghe Kingdom, buried deep down with their debris!

Since last night, no one knew Qi Xunyi whereabouts, he even wasn't in his house.

As for now, Xiao Jun had been searching for him this whole afternoon, turned the village upside down in the process, but he was still nowhere to be found.

In the end of the road, Liu Wei was standing awkwardly.

He was trying to decide whether he needed to hide or reported the information that Xiao Jun was needed now.

This subordinate was truly grateful for what Xiao Jun had done to him, his master could just leave him and let those people killed him, but instead did so, Xiao Jun came to save him.

However, right now, his Master wasn't look like himself. He didn't think clearly when he ordered him to look for Qi Xunyi whereabouts, he knew something bad would happen the moment both of them met with each other.

"Where is him!?"

Liu Wei almost jumped when he heard Xiao Jun's cold voice from behind him, he didn't realize he was there.

"Master…" Liu Wei turned around and looked at Xiao Jun guiltily.

"Don't make me repeat my word Liu Wei." Xiao Jun warned him, his eyes were burning with anger and this made Liu Wei shuddered under his gaze.

"Prince Qi Xunyi…" Liu Wei stumbled on his words while glancing at Mo Xuan Fei, who was standing beside Xiao Jun, he also looked helpless, asking for advice. However, Mo Xuan Fei could do nothing in this kind of situation. "Prince Qi Xunyi is in the south mountain. He is in the meadow…"

Before Liu Wei finished his words, Xiao Jun had disappeared from his sight.
