Xiao Jun's eyes opened wide when he heard Xiao Tianyao's question.

This is ridiculous! His brother really didn't remember about that night? Or he was just trying to joke around?

The last possibility made Xiao Jun shuddered, he couldn't imagine his brother was trying to make a joke with him, that thought even worse than the first option.

"We have a…" Xiao Jun halted, looking for the right words in his mind. "…Argumentation." He said finally.

Xiao Tianyao didn't give Xiao Jun an indication that he remembered something about that, as he waited for Xiao Jun to explain, what kind of argumentation that made Xiao Jun so nervous to be near him.

They had been having arguments ever since Xiao Tianyao couldn't talk, there were a lot of it, and some of it would be end only the moment when they fought each other, because there was rare moment when Xiao Jun became so demanding and stubborn.

"I am sorry Jun…" Xiao Tianyao shook his head. "Since Luna had pa.s.sed away, I feel a bit strange." He admitted. "I felt like there was something missing in me, but didn't know what it is."

Xiao Tianyao walked toward the window and opened the curtain as the warm wind from the east brought the smell of salt.

"I think I am just a little bit shock because the mother of my son was being killed right before my eyes. I carried her cold body. But, I could do nothing, I don't even remember how Gong Xu could be there and how he had killed Luna…" Xiao Tianyao shook his head again, as if by doing so he could clear his mind and knocked some memories of that tragic event. "But… all I know was, I had been holding onto Luna's b.l.o.o.d.y body, without a single chance to defend her."

Xiao Tianyao turned his head to look his brother, who was strangely enough became unexceptionally quiet.

"Jun, don't you think that it is strange that I forget about crucial event like that?" Xiao Tianyao was asking his brother, but in actuality he was more like talking to himself. "I have been trying to remember that, but nothing come up."

Xiao Jun blinked his eyes rapidly, didn't believe with what his brother had just told him. Xiao Tianyao was indeed had lost his memories, not all, but some of it.

"What else do you think that you have forgotten?" Xiao Jun asked, he wanted to know how far Xiao Tianyao had lost his memories.

Xiao Tianyao frowned. "How supposed I know about that?"

"Do you remember the last time we meet?" Xiao Jun was squinted his eyes, trying to a.s.sess his reaction.

"If we didn't count the war with the two Kingdoms, when you were in unconscious state, it would be when we parted way after the black market, I have been collecting information about the other elders for you. My man said you are recuperating in Greenhill Mountain, where is that place?"

Xiao Jun was confused, the thing that Xiao Tianyao had forgotten was really random, he supposed to know about Greenhill Mountain, but as it turned out he couldn't recall that place.

"My Master Ye Xiu's hiding place." Xiao Jun replied truthfully, but he didn't elaborate about the Greenhill Mountain further.

Xiao Tianyao didn't ask about that as well, seemingly, he still remembered Ye Xiu.

"Ye Bai was here when Luna was killed, did you see him?"

"Who is Ye Bai?" Xiao Tianyao frowned. "I have never heard that name."

Xiao Jun also frowned, why Xiao Tianyao's lost of memories was so complicated? He remembered about Ye Xiu, but forgot about Ye Bai.

"He was here? Let me meet him." Xiao Tianyao demanded. In that day, it was only him and Gong Xu who knew what exactly happened, while Gong Xu had runaway, Xiao Tianyao couldn't remember anything about that event.

"I don't know." Xiao Jun didn't really know how to react for this fact, whether it was a good thing or a bad thing, he needed time to think about it again. "He is constantly away for mission."

Xiao Tianyao looked at Xiao Jun suspiciously, somehow he didn't believe it. "You know something about my memory lost?"

Xiao Jun shrugged his shoulder, he could feel Xiao Tianyao was becoming aware about his questions. "I was unconscious for months, how would I know?" He asked him back lightly.

"Hmm." Xiao Tianyao only hummed, but the light in his eyes told Xiao Jun that this matter wouldn't end here. "I will brew tea for you."

While saying that, Xiao Tianyao walked to the table and reached out for the teapot, he gestured for Xiao Jun to take a seat in front of him.

"Where is Qianru?" Xiao Tianyao asked while putting tea leaves inside the teapot.

"She wanted to see your son first." Xiao Jun replied as the conversation became lighter.

Xiao Tianyao didn't react upon this, he had forgotten how long he didn't see his son as he was too busy with his own matter and the problem with the Emperor. He had been using his fame because of the war to pressure Xiao Zi and he enjoyed it so much.

The next of their conversation returned to the topic of politic in the palace, Xiao Tianyao shared his point of view about how to take down the Emperor while Xiao Jun told him about his plan.

At this moment, it felt like they returned to the time when Xiao Tianyao had not met with Luna and all of his concern was only on his brother, while Xiao Jun could talk about anything with his brother as if they had never had a problem before.

It was really a long time since the last time they could talk like this, like they were used to be.

Probably there was a good thing for Xiao Tainyao for losing his memories, and Xiao Jun wanted to keep it that way.

A man in worn- out clothes walked slowly in the packed market without slightest care of the people around him, though it was so noisy and crowd, he kept his head down while hiding his face under the straw hat.

He only reacted when someone patted his shoulder.

His sharp gazed glared at the person behind him through the veil of his hat, when he saw it was only an old lady who offered an apple to him, his tense shoulder gradually relaxed.

He didn't know what she was talking about, the only thing that indicating she was talking to him was her moving mouth, however there was not a single sound that he could hear.

That man didn't wait for the old lady to talk further, he waved his hand to the lady as a sign he didn't interest to anything that she offered.

The old lady frowned and grumbled something incoherent at his back, and then turned around to leave that strange man because he had turned down her offer.

There would be firework festive tomorrow to celebrating good harvests this year, that was why everyone came down to the market and bought a thing or two.

The man in worn- out clothes walked away toward the mountain's direction.

Not too far from that market place, inside a huge mansion that was known as the Black Sword Clan's residence, which was the training ground of shadow guards, a young lady in her teenage age was fuming mad.

Her lips shut tightly while her face red with anger, she was in complete upset about something.

"Find that girl! I want that girl in front of me now!!!" She screamed on the top of her lungs, scared all the maidservants and guards around her.

All of them moved toward different direction upon hearing their big miss of the household was angry.

The girl had turned upside down the mansion as she was looking for her step sister, who had ruined her new dress.

That was the dress that she would use for the festival tomorrow and it was really important for her.

Behind the secret door, inside the library, there was another girl who was much younger than the first one, she was hugging her legs tightly, startled when someone came too closed to the door and his voice echoed through the wall, though he wouldn't know that she was there.

"Young Miss Senja! Where are you!?" That line of question repeated for another minute as that person searched inside the library.
