A Warrior's Path 91 Chapter 91. Might Of Leaf

s.h.i.+sui's words echoed through the surroundings. Every standing ninja could hear those resolute words. They felt proud to be a leaf Ninja. Suddenly someone spoke.

" Hey! Isn't that s.h.i.+sui San!?

" Yeah!! Holy s**t!! s.h.i.+sui san is alive. Hahaha..."

s.h.i.+sui maybe an Uchiha but before he was announced dead, every s.h.i.+n.o.bi respected him.

Minato interrupted their thoughts as he said " Gather the villagers and retreat. This place will become a battle zone. I don't want any villagers to be involved, understood? "

" YES!! YONDAIME SAMA!! "

Saluting towards Minato all leaf ninja left. This fight was too big for them, they can only do as Minato ordered.

Minato turned towards Pain and said " Now we can fight! "

His figure flashed as he appeared above Pain. He used his special kunai to attack but pain dodged. Now that he saw Minato, he wouldn't dare be careless.

Itachi took on the Animal path.

Gai took on Pretha Path.

Jiraiya took on Asura path.

s.h.i.+sui took on Human path.

Tsunade took on Naraka path.

Each one of them attacked fiercely. Pain and his paths ability was a mystery to them. Ryu kept that information to himself, he wanted to see how they will fare against a completely unknown enemy.

Animal path summoned weird animals. Itachi took caution, he tested these summons and to his surprise a wired dog like summon actually increased in numbers as it took damage.

He finally had an understanding of this path, Itachi used his Mangekyo. His eyes changes as it took the form of three pinwheels surrounding a black dot.

Itachi " Mangekyo : Amaterasu!! "

Those summons Infront of Itachi got lit up in black flames. When Itachi upgraded his eyes to Mangekyo, his left eye got the ability to completely control Amaterasu flames.

A few minutes later these summons were killed. Itachi used his Tsukuyomi but it didn't work. Seeing his attack fail, Itachi directly used his flames and burned Animal path to ashes.

To a genius, expert and calm person like Itachi, it's not even a match unless you are overwhelmingly Stronger than him.

Gai.

Gai opened upto Fourth gate. That's all he needed since his opponent actually absorbed chakra and Gai is Taijutsu specialist. That's pretty much the worst possible match up.

Pretha path couldn't even hold for more than a few minutes before he was smashed to pulp.

Jiraiya.

He was up against Ashura path. Jiraiya was actually a bit struggling. This incarnation produced many weapons from its body. h.e.l.l, he even launched a few d.a.m.n missiles towards Jiraiya. If he wasn't a master, then he would be already dead.

He bit his thumb and placed it on the ground " Summoning Technique!! "

White smoke was produced as one huge frog with swords and small two frogs emerged. The big one had pale blue colour while both small frogs were green in colour with one having white hair and the other having purple hair.

These two were the elder sage's f.u.kasaku and s.h.i.+ma.

f.u.kasaku looked towards Ashura path and saw its eyes, he was startled " Jiraiya boy, who is this? why does he have Rinnegan? "

Jiraiya " I will explain later. Let's do sage mode!! "

s.h.i.+ma and f.u.kasaku nodded. They both jumped on his shoulder. Jiraiya asked the big one to keep Ashura path busy for a bit.

A few seconds later, s.h.i.+ma and f.u.kasaku merged with Jiraiya's shoulder. His face took on some frog features and his eye pupil now had a horizontal line in it.

" SAGE MODE!! "

Jiraiya took his stance. He released his summon for the big one as he a.s.saulted Ashura path.

Each attack thrown at Jiraiya was either dodged or deflected. Jiraiya's hair acted like of thorn s.h.i.+eld as it guarded his back.

Now that Jiraiya was in sage mode it was only a matter of seconds before he took down Ashura path. No kidding. In the anime he was able to take on all six paths with sage mode before being killed.

s.h.i.+sui.

s.h.i.+sui was relaxed as he exchanged attacks with his opponent. Human path has the ability to absorb and read a person's soul. To s.h.i.+sui who has the ultimate ability to even rewrite someone's will, this kind of ability won't work.

s.h.i.+sui used his body flicker technique to move from place to place. It's like he is present at multiple locations. Human path struggled to hold on but ultimately s.h.i.+sui used his short sword to cut off Human paths head.

Tsunade.

Naraka path was the weakest of them all. His ability is to restore the other paths if they are Injured. This path is Strong in groups but weak as an ant alone.

With Tsunade's strength she punched Naraka path to oblivion.

Minato and Pain stood against each other. Pain saw how the other paths fared, if all these paths gets taken out then he will be in trouble. He wanted to help but this monster Infront of him didn't let him.

Pain said indifferently " I see.... Half of Nine Tails is inside you. Then I don't need Naruto, you will suffice."

Minato looked coldly towards Pain. His body started to emit a strong chakra. Orange flame like chakra covered his whole body. Strange patterns flowed through his body with the stripes on each of his cheeks.

Pain was shocked when he saw Minato's condition. He never imagined Minato to gain control over Nine Tails.

Minato's figure flashed. He got right in front of pain. His hand contained a blue ball as he attacked. Pain witnessing this placed his palm before his body.

" Almighty pus.h.!.+ "

Minato experienced a huge repulsive force as was thrown back, but he managed to gain his footing. His figure kept on flas.h.i.+ng from different locations. Pain found it hard to keep track of Minato.

Suddenly an attack hit him from his side. He saw Minato holding that blue ball attacking him. It was too late to dodge, he twisted his body

" Eternal pull!! "

Pain pulled Minato's attack faster, this caught him off guard causing him to loose his balance. Pain used this opportunity to get out of Rasengan's path.

Eventhough he dodged it still..... that one attack was too strong. Minato used his as well as Nine Tails chakra to produce that Rasengan, of course it will be strong.

Pain found this situation vey troublesome. His other paths were killed or incapacitated. His opponent now was a monster even before Nine Tails got sealed in him, now even more so.

' Guess I have no choice.'

He held both his hands together like praying. When he separated them a black ball could be seen floating there.

" Planetary Devastation!! "

Pain tossed this black ball and retreated. Minato got a bad feeling seeing this attack. He watched the ball ascend, ground beneath him trembled. Everything including all of them were being pulled towards that black ball.

Minato looked around and saw destruction. His eyes frosted, a never before seen anger welled up inside him. He placed his palm above his head.

A hug Rasengan was being formed, not only that sounds of air being sliced echoed.

Everyone looked at Minato's hand. They could see a huge Rasengan with shuriken like wind chakra coating outside it.

" Rasenshuriken!! "

Minato shouted as he launched this attack towards the black ball. The Rasenshuriken flew with incredible speed. As it made contact with the black ball, everything went silent. Then a huge bang was heard as the black ball exploded.

Pain watched in horror as he saw his trump card being taken out. He was about to flee when Minato appeared behind him.

" You are not going anywhere! "

Minato smashed Pain to the ground. He threw another round of Rasengan towards Pain thus completely defeating him.

Somewhere inside a forest.

A skinny man could be seen with several black roses piercing his back. A woman stood beside him.

Suddenly he coughed up a lot of blood.

Konan asked worried " Nagato!! Are you alright!? "

Nagato wiped away the blood from his mouth " I am alright. Just didn't expect leaf village to be this Strong. They utterly destroyed my paths. Looks like Capturing Nine Tails is gonna be hard."

Konan was stupified. She understood Nagato's strength, but she didn't expect him to fail so miserably.

Nagato " We need another plan. Leaf is too strong! "
