After resting a bit, the four (s.h.i.+ Xue, Hui Yan, Zhi Hei, and Shen Qi) went back to the party room. Ze yang had already made his way back to the party room. When Hui Yan kicked him using her knee, his suit mislead her to kicking a bit to the right side so his b.a.l.l.s weren't directly hit. He managed to get away from the line of girls from the bathroom after being pushed inside.

Ze yang straightened his tie and walked back to the seat next to Qi Wing.

"What took you so long?" she asked suspiciously.

"Nothing, the stains were hard to get rid of."

"hah, treats you right. Who told you to not help me wipe my mouth."

"Are you full?"

"Of course. You took so long that I've eaten three plates of food already."

"Good."

"why did you ask? Didn't seem like you'll care."

"Just asking so I wouldn't have to run back to the restroom to wash off more stains."

s.h.i.+ Shan Shan: "Qi Wing, Ze Yang, you're both here! I was looking for you two"

Qi Wing smiled dazzlingly, "Mother!! You came!! I thought you said you couldn't make it~"

Ze Yang remained silent as he looked at his watch approaching 3:15pm.

He sighed before heading to the host and whispering something into his ears.

The host handed him the microphone the next second and Ze Yang walked onto the stage.

"Excuse me. May I please have all of your attention? I am Ku Ze Yang, the boyfriend of s.h.i.+ Qi Wing from the s.h.i.+ corps. Today, in front of all of you, I wish to propose to my girlfriend to take my hand in marriage." he paused a few seconds before continuing...

He got off the stage and walked towards Qi Wing. He took out a 12 carat diamond platinum ring and knelt down under every guest's sight. The crowds were cheering and telling her to accept his proposal. Qi Wing smiled heartily and blushed before nodding her head and letting Ze Yang put the ring on other finger. After that, they kissed and hugged each other tightly. Qi Wing was full of smiles while Ze Yang remained a cold expression. 'Sigh, it's finally done. that woman should've been satisfied... now...'

s.h.i.+ Huang Jie and Shan Shan clapped their hands in joy as they congratulated the officially engaged couple.

Qi Wing: "I thought this day would never come!" her eyes reddened as she laid a kiss on Ze Yang's cheeks.

Ze Yang: "Well, it did"

His hands tightened around the gla.s.s of wine as he approached that table.

"We're not on friendly terms like that. Don't you think so? Mr.Ku"

"hmm, well, fine then. Maybe when you propose to your girlfriend, and I'll give you the toast." his eyes landed on the girl next to Zhi Hei.

s.h.i.+ Xue looked straight into his eyes when she felt his stare. After making direct eye contact with her, his body swayed a little. He almost lost his balance. Their eyes... this feeling.. it's way too similar. Too alike...

He tried to reach over to remove her mask, but was stopped by Zhi Hei. s.h.i.+ Xue slapped his hands away roughly before rolling her eyes at him.

Ze Yang gulped, "P..pardon me.. she just felt too similar to my ex girlfriend."

Shen Qi and s.h.i.+ Xue remained silent while the brother and sister provokes Qi Wing.

Qi Wing, "Hah! So the Huang's are all playing the petty card! Look at my darling 12 carat diamond platinum ring! So s.h.i.+ny! Ahhh I am so happy! s.h.i.+ Xue smiled provocatively and made direct eye contact with Qi wing. Qi Wing s.h.i.+vered as her face drained color and her voice faded off. "s.h.i.+... s.h.i.+ Xue...?"

The crowds attention focused at the entrance where Qi Wing had just screamed.

Qi Wing: "If she isn't s.h.i.+ Xue, then have her take off the mask. If there's nothing to hide, then why is she wearing the mask?" she reached her hands out to try and take off s.h.i.+ Xue's mask.

s.h.i.+ Xue smirked and then caught Qi Wing's arm. She twisted that arm of hers before pinning her down onto the floor and sitting on her.

Zhi Hei: "My girlfriend isn't someone who likes attention. She's too beautiful to be exposed in front of everyone. Since she's not someone from this circle, what would her wearing a mask have to do with any of you s.h.i.+'s? Or are you all just afraid that the 's.h.i.+ Xue' you just mentioned is still alive?"
