Hui Yan and Zhi Hei ran to s.h.i.+ Xue and kicked Ze Yang's stomach. The two kicks sent him flying and rolling on the mall's floor. Zhi Hei wrapped his jacket around s.h.i.+ Xue, who looked as white as a sheet of paper. After Ze Yang was kicked away, she relaxed a bit and said in a weak voice, "I need to wash.. wash my hands.."

"Can we do that later? It might not be safe here."

She shook her head and held Zhi Hei's hand using her other hand, "Scent... it makes me sick..."

He helped her to a nearby bathroom and made sure there was n.o.body in any stalls before having Hui Yan accompany her.

-10 minutes ago-

Hui Yan left the shopping bags with the driver and was heading back to s.h.i.+ Xue. When she turned the corner to ride the elevator, somebody pointed a sharp object against her waist.

"Move, and you'll be hurt."

Hui Yan smirked, "It should be you who should move or else you'll get hurt."

"What?"

The bodyguard who followed Hui Yan appeared with a taser, "Hands in the air! Don't move! Let the Miss go!"

"Hah, you should be clear of the current situation before saying anything. I'm the one with the knife by her body. Do you think your taser is faster or my sharp knife?" the man placed the knife by her neck.

"Tch..."

"Who sent you?" Hui Yan said in a harsh tone.

"It doesn't matter. Give me 15 more minutes and you'll be free. I won't harm you if you listen to me obediently,"

"Oh?" Hui Yan spotted from the reflection of a nearby mirror of Zhi Hei and Shen Qi's figure approaching from behind. She stood there quietly waiting for the two of them to save her.

"Yes, that's right. Just stay like this for the next 15 minutes and you'll be set free."

"I am afraid you wont have that chance!" Shen Qi angrily shouted. The man was startled by the sudden voice from behind. His knife accidentally scratched her neck and a bit of blood flowed down her neck. Shen Qi pounced onto the man and punched him unconscious. Zhi Hei had the medical kit prepared and made sure to treat her wound before anything else. Hui Yan spoke anxiously,"Sis in law!! Quick go to her!! We need to get to her. Their target isn't me!! It's her!"

Zhi Hei nodded and had Hui Yan lead the way after taking care of her wound.

Shen Qi was worried about Hui Yan, but he had to deal with this attacker first. He dared raise a weapon against his dear wife's neck and harmed her. He isn't going to get away easily. The bodyguard held the man in place as Shen Qi punched him several times from stomach to chest. After releasing 10% of his rage, he instructed the bodyguard to take the the man to the Huang dungeon. He quickly rushed to meet up with Zhi hei and Hui Yan afterwards.

When Zhi Hei and Hui Yan saw s.h.i.+ Xue, they immediately ran to her side. Hui Yan also informed Zhi Hei about s.h.i.+ Xue's health condition and that she wasn't feeling well. After he saw her pale figure, his heart was devastated. He wanted to bring her to the hospital, but she insisted on using the bathroom.

Zhi Hei and a bodyguard stood outside the females bathroom waiting for the girls to come out. After a while, Hui Yan screamed out, "Bro!!!"

He barged into the bathroom and saw s.h.i.+ Xue's in Hui Yan's arms. Luckily he got there in time to catch her or else both of them would've fallen on the floor.

"What happened?"

"She threw up and lost the strength to support herself."

Zhi Hei carried her out of the bathroom and sat on a bench. "Chen Mu is on his way. He'll get here in 3 minutes. Wait a bit okay?"

She nodded as a layer of sweat covered her forehead. "I'm cold and thirsty."

He wrapped her body in his jacket and asked Hui Yan to go get something warm for her to drink. Under this condition, Hui Yan didnt know what to get her. At the end, she got her a cup of warm water and handed it to Zhi Hei. He fed her the water slowly and rubbed her s.h.i.+vering body. Ze Yang was being held with his arms behind his back by the bodyguard. Ze Yang screamed, "You see? After marrying you, she only grew weaker. She's never been this tired when she was with me. You should give her up if you can't care for her!"

When Ze Yang forced his steps closer to s.h.i.+ Xue, she covered her mouth again and weakly chanted, "G..get him away from me... I feel.. sick.. his scent.."

Zhi Hei hugged her body closer to his, "You heard what ma'am said. move him further away. Actually, just throw him into the dungeon. I'll deal with him later."

After Ze Yang was taken away, she felt a bit better and took deep breaths.

"How are you feeling? dizzy? thirsty? cold?"

"I'm fine..."

Hui Yan knelt down and noticed that she was rubbing her stomach again. "Sis in law.. are you sure you are getting your period? You sure you aren't pregnant?"

She stopped rubbing her lower abdomen and Zhi Hei loosened his embrace after hearing that she may be pregnant. 'If she is pregnant, then she can't be in this position.' He quickly adjusted his sitting position and placed her in a more comfortable posture.

Hui Yan continued, "Sis, you said you had no appet.i.te, lower abdomen feels weird, very tired lately, and most of your favorite foods are no longer to your preference. These are symptoms of pregnancy."

She was too exhausted to reply to Hui Yan as she tried her best to remain awake for Chen Mu to get here. Chen Mu and Su Su reached the trio within the next minute. Chen Mu quickly took her pulse and took out his medical kit in case she was injured anywhere. After taking her pulse thrice, he asked, "little bunny, did you eat anything today?"

She shook her head lightly.

"Okay. Let's carry her to a nearby restaurant and get her some food. Her body is currently very weak because of malnutrition."

Hui Yan asked, "Is she pregnant?"

Chen Mu slapped his forehead, "Right. Forgot the main point. She's indeed pregnant, but right now she really needs to eat and drink something before we go to the hospital. So hurry up."

Zhi Hei asked her in a very gentle voice, "Do you have anything you want in particular?"

"Vegetable.. soup.."

He quickly picked her up and the others followed him. He made sure the air conditioner was lowered at the spot they were sitting and he ordered 20 different vegetable soups on the menu for her. After the soups came, he personally fed her spoonfuls to see which ones were to her liking. After trying out several spoonfuls, she ended up liking the vegetable mushroom special. He ordered an extra 5 portions of that soup to go. After feeding her, Chen Mu took her pulse again and nodded, "Much better. Now we can go to the hospital. I'll give her a thorough check up to ensure mother and child's health."

s.h.i.+ Xue fell asleep in the middle of the ride and woke up around 3 A.M. She rubbed her eyes and sat up on the bed. Zhi Hei woke up from her movement and quickly asked her if she was feeling any type of discomfort. She shook her head and asked, "Am I really..."

He smiled charmingly and hugged her, "You're a little over a month pregnant. You're too careless.. no.. I'm too careless. Not you. I should have noticed the changes in your daily habits. I almost caused you and our child harm."

Her eyes swelled up as she touched her lower abdomen.

"What's wrong? Are you in pain?"

"No... I'm .just very happy and excited. We're finally going to be mommy and daddy. ehhe"

"Silly.." he wiped her tears.

Her stomach growled and both of them laughed, "What do you want to eat? do you want soup? I'll have someone bring it."

She smiled, "Let's eat together. I want some light vegetable dishes and the vegetable soup from earlier."

He kissed her forehead, "Okay. Stay right here and don't move around okay? I'll be right back."

She nodded and leaned backwards against the wall. She stroked her lower abdomen gently and whispered, "You little squirt surely hinted to mommy about your existence, but mommy was a dummy to realize it this late. Thank goodness you are alright. Please be obedient and be as comfortable as you wish inside of me. Mommy and daddy loves you very very much. hehe..."
