When Zhi Hei stepped into the room, it was awfully quiet. The first thing he noticed was the empty bed and the his parents restless expressions followed by the nervousness of the doctors and guards.

Zhi Hei: "Where is s.h.i.+ Xue?" he asked trying to remain calm.

Mother Huang: "S..She's in the bathroom. It's been a while since she went in. But all we could hear were her painful moans and your name."

Father Huang signaled for the doctors and bodyguards to wait outside as he followed behind them. He gave a glance towards Zhi Hei as he sighed in relief. Catching his father's actions and glance, he knew what he needed to do.

Zhi Hei: "Mom, I got this under control. If you're worried, you can wait outside for me and I'll call for help if I need it"

Mother Huang nodded hesitantly, but she understood her son's meaning. She quickly walked out of the room and closed the door. She sighed and felt herself wrapped in her husband's embrace.

Mr.Huang :"Don't worry, she'll be alright."

Mrs.Huang teared up a little as she whispered :"She is a lovely girl who loves our son with a very beautiful kind hearted heart... how could I bear to see her suffer."

Mr.Huang never got the chance to ask his wife why she had such a strong impression of their son's girlfriend. At first he thought it was under the influence of their son, but seeing her get this emotional.. there must be a story behind it. Judging from how she is reacting right now, this daughter in law is already set.. he smirked.

-INSIDE THE ROOM-

*knocks*

"s.h.i.+ Xue, are you feeling alright?"

*sniff* "p...p..pain"

"Do you want anything to drink or to come out and rest in bed for a while?"

"N...n..oo.."

"I'm coming in there, alright?"

"n..n...ooo" her voice sounded more and more low.

Zhi Hei was very worried at this point and entered the bathroom to find her sitting on the toilet and head facing downwards. When he tried to lift her head, she said in an extremely low voice.. "hea...d dizzy..." He quickly sanitized his hands before helping her clean up and flushed the toilet. He washed his hands again and sanitized her hands before carrying her to the bed. He kept his hands on her pulse and kept track of her slow breathing. He knew that she was suffering from a lot of pain since her face drained of color and lips were dried up to the point it was cracked. His heart ached even more compared to the times she was in a coma. If he didn't leave her alone... if he ignored the shameless b.i.t.c.h pigs from that family.... then this wouldn't have happened. Why did he care about what others said? His heart was filled with self blame and guilt as he kissed her hands gently.

Perhaps s.h.i.+ Xue felt his presence and self guilt, she forced her eyes to open a little bit and used her remaining strength to brush his hair gently using her other hand. She smiled slightly before shutting her eyes tight and finally fell asleep with him by her side.

His heart was filled with warmth after seeing this silly girl use all her strength to comfort him. He stayed by her side and fed her warm liquids little by little. His parents came in after some time to see the sweet couple holding hands. They've never seen their son look at any girls with such gentleness in his eyes. It was so loving. If this picture was s.h.i.+ Xue being healthy with a newborn next to her and Zhi Hei holding her hands, how nice would this scene be? Mother and father huang thought as they stood in their spot observing this beautiful moment...

Zhi Hei did a low *ahem* to get their parents out of their dreamland.

Mother Huang took off her heels and slowly walked towards Zhi Hei to look at the weak girl in bed sleeping soundly. "How is she doing?" she whispered.

"Pretty good compared to before. No longer crying from pain."

Mother and father Huang both signed in relief. Mother Huang patted her son's shoulder before giving him a smile and said "We will be waiting in the next room. Tell me when she wakes up"

Zhi Hei nodded and father Huang held mother Huang's hand as they walked out of the room.

After his parents left, Zhi Hei continued looking at his wife on the bed. Whenever she woke up, he would pour warm water and hold the cup for her as he poured water into her mouth. After having her sit a bit, he would ask if she's feeling any better or needed anything. She would shake or nod her head. Her eye's showed a trace of unhappiness so he didn't say anything further. He only hugged her and kissed her forehead. When she needed to use the bathroom, he would help her to the toilet seat and wait for her to be finished. When she's done, he would go in and help her clean up before bringing her back to bed. Her body lacked strength in moving around and carrying things so he would help her with everything.

After 9 hours of taking care of her, she woke up with rosiness returning to her face. She opened her mouth to speak, but Zhi Hei told her to wait till she's better. She shook her head before starting their conversation:

s.h.i.+ Xue: A..am .. I unchaste?" she said with a shaky voice.

Zhi Hei shook his head gently and smiled slightly "I came just in time. He only ripped your dress."

s.h.i.+ Xue's eyes reddened as she clenched onto the blanket "S..o.. I'm still... a virgin..?

Zhi Hei's heart ached seeing her like this.. he quickly hugged her and whispered "Yep. And I'll be the one claiming your v card."

Her arms slowly hugged his waist as she placed her head onto his chest. His heartbeats calmed her down as she frowned slightly "It was very scary."

His arms tightened around her body. He stroked her hair as he apologized."Sorry. I won't ever leave you alone again. No matter where I'll bring you with me"

She smiled slightly and replied "okay."

After a while of embracing each other, Zhi Hei told his parents and the doctors that she's awake.

The doctors carefully examined her condition before declaring that she is fine and the drug should be mostly cleared up. She just needs to drink more warm liquids and let mother nature do its thing.

Hearing the doctors conclusions, mother Huang smiled delightedly as she took s.h.i.+ Xue's hands and rubbed it gently.

s.h.i.+ Xue looked puzzled as she questioned why the woman whom she spoke with from the party is acting with such friendliness with her. Seeing her confused look, Zhi Hei introduced

"s.h.i.+ Xue, this is my mother and he is my father. They were both very worried about you earlier."

"Y..you are Zhi Hei's mother?!"

"yes I am, and it was a pleasure meeting you earlier! I can't believe my son had such luck to meet you! You're such a loving young lady!!"

"s..sorry for my impoliteness just now, I was just shocked that you are Zhi Hei's mother. You look so young! and no... I should be the lucky one to have him..."

Mother Huang shook her head gently as she said "no, he is the lucky one. Thank G.o.d the one who fell in love with is you and not Yu Rou. I would've puked blood if he married her"

Seeing his mother say such a thing, Zhi Hei became very curious and asked "Mom, how come your impression of s.h.i.+ Xue is so strong?"

"I was feeling a bit sick from the crowd earlier and I accidentally dirtied her champagne dress. She wasn't worried about the dress at all and asked me if I was alright and even helped me to sit down! We were talking to each other for around half an hour before she left to look for her boyfriend. She is such a sweetheart. "

Seeing his wife being this excited in meeting someone, his heart was filled with warmth as he smiled. Zhi Hei looked at this heart warming scene and smiled as well.
