New Life Online 226 Darkness Leads The Way

-Order of Light Prison Dungeon-

It's pretty weird that after we entered the Dungeon, there are no guards at all.

"This is supposed to be the Dungeon or their Prison, right? But why are there no guards at all inside?" Osia asked curiously. I knew someone would ask the same question I have in mind.

"I don't know too but ushually, guardsh showsh up when they have to releashe those who are imprishoned. Oh... I forgot to shay, you can't ushe any shkillsh or shpellsh here." I was really having a hard time understanding what Two-Teeth is talking about but it seems I kind of get it.

"He's right, I can't use any spells. Maybe that's why there are no guards because they trust their dungeon so much that they don't have to guard this place. The prison doors are also tough enough to cage even the strongest player. They really did something great here." Osia's right. I can't feel mana around here.

"Yeah, but we're a.s.sa.s.sins and we use items to improve our fighting capabilities so this won't stop us." Beat replied.

"Not for me, I'm just a fragile maiden who will break easily if not protected. *Wink Wink*" And there goes Osia. It seems like we have to protect Osia.

So far I can't feel any movements. There are no people imprisoned so far so that means... everyone was killed and Scy with the others are not here. So where should we find them?

"Ok guys. Let's go."

And so... all of us started moving as fast as possible.

-Deeper of Order of Light Prison Dungeon-

The path is simple. Dead ends everywhere and this place can hold hundreds of prisoners and so far the only people we found are those who are low-level trolls who like to rob people... like Two Teeth.

"What are you looking at?" Oops! I just realized I was looking at him while thinking about them.

"Oh, nothing..."

"So far... we checked every place but we can't find any hidden entrances. Do you have any ideas or any rumors inside?" I asked.

"I think I know what path you're trying to find. Are you looking for the hidden entranche for Dark Brotherhood'sh guild?" Wait...

"How did you know that?" I asked curiously... there's no way he can know about it.

"I wash onche from Dark Brotherhood but they kicked ush out. Shaying that we're too weak to shtay with them. I would like to kill shome of them when I have the chanche." It looks like someone has a grudge...

"Oh... Well... back to the point. Do you still remember where the entrance is?" I replied.

"Yeah, but I'm not shure if it'sh shtill there. Follow me." So... I need to trust him or we won't find anything here.

We reached the end of the Dungeon and it's just a dead end. I can't sense anything too so there's no one here probably.

"Darknessh leadsh the way." I heard him whisper something... but nothing happened.

"Darknessh leadsh the way..." Two Teeth said it a bit louder this time... but nothing happened again.

"Darknessh leadsh the way!" And he shouted...

"Hey, what's wrong? You shouldn't be shouting you know." I'm still confused about what is going on.

"I'm trying to shay the pa.s.shword but I think they've changed it. Thish wall ish jusht an illus.h.i.+on but it's not jusht an illus.h.i.+on, our mindsh thinksh that there'sh really a wall here sho... even if we know that nothing ish really there, our mindsh won't let ush get pasht it." Woah is he starting to get brainy now?

"So is this the only way? I mean, if we don't know the pa.s.sword then there's no way we can enter. Not even a clue or something." Beat said. He's right, there's no way we can open...

"Darkness leads the way!" Suddenly, out of nowhere, Osia said the phrase again.

Then out of nowhere, the wall disappeared and we can now see the entrance again... I think that Two Teeth just didn't say it right...

"I knew it! Haha!" Osia said with excitement.

"There you go. I told you I know the pa.s.shword. Haha." Two Teeth... but for some reason, I feel sorry for him.

We entered the hidden path but... it's another stairway down. There's not even a hint of light so we're forced to use some torches and I don't know where on earth did they get it.

Out of nowhere... I've felt a movement ahead with so much speed!

*CLANG*

I threw my dagger real fast and after a moment... we checked what happened. It looks like someone triggered a trap and an arrow went flying towards us and it seems that everyone's safe.

"Wait... the dagger was destroyed but thankfully it helped to stop the arrow." Beat checked the arrow. How did that happen? My weapon is one of the strongest metal we have in-game.

"This is... the Dragon gem arrow. They really don't want people to enter their place." Dragon Gem?! That's the strongest and toughest metal out there. Where did they get that kind of money to even use these for traps?

"Let's move on and let's try to be careful next time. These traps are hard to detect because of the darkness and we can't really use any spells." I suggested.

"But I can tell, you've got some good reflexes," No need to tell me that, Beat.

We continued moving and so far... we encountered few different kinds of traps but we're unharmed so far. Those kinds of traps are maybe crafted by master trappers. With one mistake, it can kill someone in just one trap.

I signaled them to stop any light emitting objects because I somehow felt a presence.

-Dark Brotherhood Guild-

After walking ahead the light blinded us... as we look closer there are two a.s.sa.s.sin looking guys standing near the entrance where the light comes from.

*SWOOOOOSH SWOOOOSH*

Two arrows flew towards them and hit them in the leg, they lost consciousness after getting hit... those sleep coatings are pretty strong.

We slowly moved closer and as we checked... there's a... freaking Castle below! What the heck?! It's like an underground Castle!

"I know, right? That'sh their hideout. I heard there'sh another path and leadsh you to shomewhere but I haven't seen it yet. I just got here like twiche. Thoshe shuckersh won't even let me shtay longer." Now I know why only a few people can join that Dark Brotherhood. You can't join unless they come for you and invite you.

"So, do you know where we can find their Prison or Dungeon?"

"There'sh a dungeon below the cashtle. We can bypa.s.sh the casthle and head shtraight to the dungeon. It'sh the eas.h.i.+sht way but I think thish ish the only information that I can give you. I don't know anything about thish place bes.h.i.+de knowing that th.e.s.h.e people are shuckers." We already knew that they are shockers, Two-teeth.

"Well, you've done enough. Just stay with us first because I know you want to kick some of them and you probably won't get out of here alone." I suggested.

So we started moving. So far, I can tell that there are no people nearby or maybe because they're just letting their guard down knowing that no one can ever find this place unless they're part of their guild.

We took the path Two Teeth mentioned and so far, we just shoot the guards to sleep. These people from Life guild are too helpful. I don't know if I could pull this off without them.

We reached the dungeon and... this time, we found some a.s.sa.s.sin guards inside. They are good at hiding but when it comes to tracking, they're pretty bad. They can't even tell if there are intruders. There are five guards and one of them is a bit bigger and somehow I feel like he's stronger than others.

*SWOOOOOs.h.!.+ SWOOOOs.h.!.+*

Once again, we were able to... wait, what?!

"So, it seems like we have some intruders. Show yourselves or I will call the others, right now!" The huge guard shouted and somehow... he emits a terrible aura. We were able to knock four of them but he was able to avoid the arrow from us even with that masculine body.

He has a choice to call for reinforcements but why not do it?

"Beat, Kaita..." I signaled them to move.

They both rushed towards him to knock him down as fast as they can.

*SWOOOOOSH SWOOOOs.h.!.+* They move so fast!

*BAAAAAAM!* What?! The big man was able to block Beat's attack by grabbing his arm!

*SWOOOOOs.h.!.+ BAAAAAAM!* Then he threw him away and hit the wall!

Kaita tried to attack him but before she gets near him...

*BAAAAAAM!* She got kicked by the big man away!

This big man is strong!
