I'm starting to feel uneasy. I can tell that the city is taking a lot of damage from the battles around the city and outside, there's an ongoing battle. A battle against their own comrades.

"You better surrender now. This is all part of the plan of the Order of Light. Whatever you do, you will never win." Vortz said and I can tell that he's really serious. Maximus is a true leader. He always has something behind his sleeves and with his wisdom, I can tell that this battle is really not in our favor.

"I can see that but we could at least try. The good thing about the game is we can always try over and over again." I showed that even though we're at the losing side, I still have the will to fight.

"You can say that now, but someday, you can only try once because you will lose everything you have if you fail. For now, I will make sure that you and your allies will be destroyed!" His aura is changing. Earlier, I thought, that's the limit of his power but I guess he's going to use his full potential now.

"I won't hold back anymore and give it all! STORM CALLER'S FINAL FORM!" Oh.... this is pretty bad. He skipped second and third form to use his final! Usually, second forms are for defense boost and third forms are for an overall power boost. That means he will hit harder this time.

"STORM CALLER'S LIGHTNING RELEASE!" Vortz raised both of his hands and then he created a ball of lightning! It releases a ma.s.sive amount of lightning that circles around the area and its range are getting wider and bigger!

We tried to get near him but the lightning moves so fast that we can't get close to him. Getting hit even once will cause too much damage to us.

"Get back!" His comrades pulled back as the lightning destroyed everything it touches. The ground crumbles as the lightning moves around.

"ICE DRAKE'S WALL OF ICE!" Someone used a giant wall made of ice to protect us from the lightning. I can tell that it's st.u.r.dy and it will be hard to demolish even with high-level spells. (Selene.)

*BZZZZZT!*

The lightning started to move faster and bigger in a circular motion around Vortz and it reached us in no time! The wall shattered in an instant upon making contact with the lightning! This is insane!

Zia and Sieg's are still fighting but they are not in the area anymore. It seems they changed location.

Suddenly, the lightning stopped and it just disappeared then, I've felt a tremendous amount of sudden burst above us! Wait... this is...

"Above us! ZOFIA'S ABSOLUTE s.h.i.+ELD OF BULWARK!" I know this is insane but I even used almost all my mana to use this spell. It might just my imagination but it's better to be sure. I created a giant s.h.i.+eld above us to protect us where I've felt the release of power!

"STORM CALLER'S THUNDER G.o.d'S BOLT OF DEVASTATION!"

*BOOOOOOOOM!* Ma.s.sive lightning from above annihilated our defenses like it was nothing and my giant s.h.i.+eld's side shattered! I failed to protect everyone!

The ma.s.sive amount of force made a giant hole beside me and... everyone disappeared in a flash with that ma.s.sive force. The upper part of my armor shattered and my s.h.i.+eld crumbles to pieces after the attack...

How... how did that happen in just one move?! I almost died from that. If not because of Zofie, I'm so dead by now. There's no sign of life nearby... I survived alone.

"G.o.dd.a.m.nit! Why can't you just die?! You're too much pain in the as*!" Vortz showed how angry he is. Both of his hands are severely injured and his monster soul form got canceled. Do I still have a chance? His guards are, once again, rushed towards him to guard him.

They are trying to heal him once again but the damage he took using that double edge move was too much that they are taking a while healing him.

Zofie, thanks for the help but I need to ask you one more favor. Let's make this guy pay for what he's done.

*SHATTER*

The armor left on my body shattered. Now I'm wearing my basic gear once again.

"That's more like it. Give up now." Vortz said. He signaled another batch of his warriors to attack me but I didn't remove my armor just to get killed.

The advantage of having Zofie is I don't have to keep track of my weapons because she just recreates them. My protective armor in exchange for more weapons.

They charge at me with all they've got. I don't know how many are there anymore because they're too many for me to defeat alone so my only choice is to target their leader.

"ROOOOOOAR!" One of them swung his giant sword but I easily avoided it and I jumped ahead using the shoulder of the warrior. I twirled around and fling daggers to those who charged at me, hitting the back of their necks, killing them in an instant. The daggers shattered and recreated again in my hands.

"ZOFIA'S JACKFRUIT THORNS!" After my first move, I once again spun in fast succession while throwing daggers around aiming for those exposed heads!

"UGH! GAAH! MOM!" Random cries can be heard from below. Zofie's daggers pierced those helmets like they are made of plastic, killing those who got hit.

Vortz is still far from me. I need to get close to him. They are trying their best to keep him away and safe but even if I have to break every single bone I have, I will, just to defeat him!

"ZOFIA'S FLAVORFUL EXPLOSION!" I used my remaining power stone to make an explosion from below and make a powerful momentum to reach him in just a couple of seconds.

*BOOOOOOOM!*

That made a powerful explosion than what I've expected and I flew towards Vortz location while destroying those who got caught by it!

"You won't get away this time!" I shouted. Wait, Huh?!

"UNITY BARRIER!" That barrier again! The supports created a thick barrier to stop me from advancing! But that won't stop me!

"ZOFIA'S GIANT IMPALER!" I created a giant dagger and concentrated my attack!

*CRACKS*

My dagger successfully pierced the barrier and made a crack giving me the opportunity to slip through inside. I slowed down a bit but I'll get there!

Their spellcasters used a ma.s.sive amount of lightning spells towards me but they missed because I still flew fast enough to avoid and block the spells.

"ZOFIE'S DRILL SEEDS!" I shattered my dagger and made a lot of bits and pieces of the blade and scattered it to Vortz location.

"Protect me! d.a.m.n it!" The guards formed a defensive stance that blocked every single piece of my attack. They also scattered and raised their s.h.i.+elds covering the direction of my attack while Vortz hides behind one of them to escape freely but...

"ZOFIE'S GIANT IMPALER!" I stopped my projectiles and recreated a ma.s.sive dagger instead and targeted where Vortz currently at.

*BAAAAAM!*

"Ugh! But how..." I successfully hit him! Vortz's voice is fainting as my giant dagger pierced him behind a guard. He hid behind his guards but I was able to know where he is without looking.

"I'm not used to seeing, so hiding from me won't work," I smiled at him and I looked at his body slowly falling to the ground as my dagger shattered into pieces. The guards dragged his body away from me checking if he's still alive but with my last move, I doubt it. I can't hear him breathe anymore.

The guards around me stopped their attack and are now having doubts if they can really kill me or not. They did their best to stop me from killing their leader but it wasn't enough. I tried looking tough despite being nearly dead and almost out of mana. It's working so far but I need to rest soon.

Then suddenly, I heard a loud noise near the broken gate. It looks like the remaining Dragoons made their way to the entrance of the city. Behind them are the Drowned Tridents.

Bodies of Storm Callers got thrown above after getting hit by the mounted Dragoons. Their army force in open fields is the best because they got the better charging power.

Finally, they reached me. Hopefully, reinforcements are here. They might have troubles earlier but it looks like they figured it out how to stop the mess.

"Those darn Ravens infiltrated my army. I'm sorry that your friends died in battle but we're here to help. I hope you guys don't ditch us again this time." Drake said while trying to kill every guard left nearby.

"Thanks, Drake. I know that you feel betrayed but believe me, something unexpected happened." I replied trying to stay alive.

"I just don't like my guild to be controlled by someone else for their own plans. My guild is not a guild to order around! RAAAAAAAAWR!" Oh, c.r.a.p... that's a loud shout. Drake is the leader with the loudest roar. It's obvious why his army has a good moral.

After the defeat of Vortz, Storm Caller's army scattered around the city. I hope that lessened our problems. Now... I have to find a safe place and rest. I can't fight any longer.
