Ugh... that was close. My body is in a mess but I was able to stand up but I'm having a hard time. d.a.m.n it, I didn't expect that this would happen to me.

"That's what you get when you put your guard down. Let my power flow all over your body. Let me take control of your body parts that you can't use." A little bird popped out on top of my head. h.e.l.lo there too, Kyut.

"I know. I should have used your soul from the start but I hesitated because you might do something weird again. But yeah, he needs to pay for this. I can't feel the pain anymore. Thank you." I replied and thankfully, she was able to send signals to my body parts without making me feel the pain. Of course, she eats a lot of my mana too.

"THUNDERBIRD'S LIGHTNING SWORD!" I tried to slash his fist but the cloth protected it from getting cut by my lightning sword! It's like that cloth is not affected by any spells!

"THUNDERBIRD'S EARTH SHATTERING LIGHTNING!" I backed off and unleash powerful lightning came from above! There's no way you can stop that!

*BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!* He raised both of his fists to stop the lightning and it didn't even scratch him! What the h.e.l.l?!

If spells won't work on him my only choice is to use suicidal melee attacks with weapons. But with his melee techniques, there's no way I could land a blow... How can I fight someone with better technique, faster attacks and more powerful than you?

"Haha! This is the end for you!" He charged at me with his hand ready to grab me when he's free. I can't let that happen!

I used my fire booster to get away to an open area. It's hard if I get stuck with him in a narrow s.p.a.ce. I can't escape too because If I did, he will kill both Sh.e.l.la and Osia. d.a.m.n it to h.e.l.l!

I can barely stand straight right now. My body, please cooperate and please don't fail me.

"MERMAID QUEEN'S WRATH!" It looks like they are also in a pinch there. Sh.e.l.la used her monster soul so that means they are now taking this seriously. I also can't let this huge man defeat me.

He's running towards me. I can't even tell if he's even getting exhausted or not. He's chasing me while trying to run around the area and he moves so fast. There's no way I would let that man get near me.

"THUNDERBIRD'S STATIC DAGGER!" I threw a dagger towards him at a fast speed with a lightning element. If he touches it, then he would be paralyzed, considering how tough he is, it won't last that long.

*CLANG* He deflected it with his palm with clothing. That didn't affect him but by making effort to deflect it, that would mean he can't move that much while chasing, also he's cautious of my attacks.

"STOP RUNNING AWAY! RAAAAAAWR!" He yelled and then jumped with great speed towards me!

"THUNDERBIRD'S SECOND FORM! THUNDERBIRD'S MAXIMUM AGILITY!" Kyut, lend me more of your power. I've felt a tremendous amount of lightning force around my body making me move so fast, faster than before!

He didn't reach me on time and I was able to get away. I'm tired of running away and it's time to focus my whole power! I don't care if I die, I need to kill him first!

"THUNDERBIRD'S PIERCING SCREW LIGHTNING!" I poured all of my remaining mana into it. Even with a protective cloth, there's no way you can stop full force of Kyut!

*BZZZZT!* A large amount of lightning power stroked the huge man from above and made a loud thunder sound echoing all over the whole city! Take that you giant!

*BOOOOOOOM!* He tried blocking my attack with his hands covered with that magical cloth but with that amount of power, only a Legendary Boss can stop that kind of attack. A huge explosion covered the area in smoke and dust.

After that move, I lost Kyut's transformation and almost fell to the ground. Ugh... now the pain is back and my mana is almost at its limit. If he survived my attack, then I don't know what to do anymore...

*SWOOOOOs.h.!.+* A fast-moving something popped out of the smoke made by the explosion! Wait... it's him! His hands and fingers are in a mess and the magical cloth is not in his hands anymore. That might have saved his life... but now, I guess this is the end for me.

"Got you! You really are sneaky. Now, it's time to break your neck!" He caught me and grabbed me by the neck. Oh, man... this is bad...

"Are you ok, Sis?" Osia asked her sister. The a.s.sa.s.sins' target is Sh.e.l.la because she's the only one who can easily wipe them out but with s.h.i.+v's strategy, Sh.e.l.la and Osia are not doing well. The area is covered in smokescreen reducing their sight. Not only that, but the smokescreen also has poison and even with Sh.e.l.la's cleansing power, the amount of poison in the area is too much for her alone.

*SWOOOOs.h.!.+* Daggers are flying around the area. Osia's wall of ice protects them but it's not enough. They also tried to get out of the smokescreen but they already surrounded them that they make a new smokescreen in Sh.e.l.la and Osia's location. Separating is a bad idea too because Shela can't defend herself alone. Not a single a.s.sa.s.sin is getting near them and they are just throwing daggers towards them and using poison smokescreen all over the place.

"MERMAID'S WHIRLPOOL!" The poison smokescreen dispersed because of the powerful whirlpool's pressure.

"MERMAID'S WATER MANIPULATION!" The water stopped from moving and it slowly creates tridents!

"MERMAID' WATER TRIDENTS!" The trident made of water flew towards the a.s.sa.s.sins nearby! The speed of the tridents is unpredictable! It's like they moved so fast that even the buildings caught by her attack got cut in half!

"GAAAAAH!" a.s.sa.s.sins died in an instant upon getting hit! Some of them tried to run away but they couldn't. After a trident kills someone, it moves around looking for another target!

*CLANG!* One of the tridents targeted s.h.i.+v but he was able to deflect the attack.

The tridents stopped moving and went back to being just water. It looks like Sh.e.l.la canceled her water manipulation.

"Sis! Are you ok?!" Osia checked her sister. The poison is spreading through her body like wildfire.

"MERMAID'S CLEANSING WATER!" She used some kind of detoxification to cure her body of poison.

"I'm ok. But using these spells is making my mana run off faster. These vicious men are beasts and I can't stand being with them." She said while trying to stand up straight. You can still see traces of poison all over her body but she's trying to show how strong she is.

"That's good to hear. Let's defeat this s.h.i.+v guy and let's get out of here." Osia said helping her sister.

"STARVING FIEND'S WRATH! FIEND'S STALKER!" s.h.i.+v started to move. He disappeared within their sights and the area became so silent. You can't even hear anything, even a footstep or noise around the city.

"FIEND'S DARK SEEKER!" He appeared behind them! He's aiming for Sh.e.l.la who's weakened by the poison! Osia, on the other hand, is protected by her pa.s.sive from poison or any other status effect making her a formidable opponent for them.

"MERMAID'S WATER PRISON!" Out of nowhere, a sphere of water caught s.h.i.+v on time!

"Don't forget that the area is still covered in water. As long as you're stepping on the ground cover in water, I can easily detect your movement." Sh.e.l.la said. s.h.i.+v, inside the water sphere, is trying to gasp for air.

"Good job, Sis! Now finish him off!" Osia said, Sh.e.l.la's more formidable than what her sister have thought.

*SWOOOOOOs.h.!.+* Out of nowhere, a dagger flew towards them but they managed to avoid it and it hit the ground.

*POOOOOOF!* Suddenly, there's a smoke once again and covered both Sh.e.l.la and Osia! But this time, it wasn't just a poison! s.h.i.+v fell to the ground as the water prison got canceled.

*BAAAAAM!*

"Huh?! Sis?!" Osia looked at her sister and upon looking at her, a dagger already pierced her sister's heart!

"Sssssss... h.e.l.lo there, little girl." Venum appeared out of nowhere and stabbed Sh.e.l.la. Sh.e.l.la's monster soul form got canceled in that instant.

"Sis?! But how? She could have easily stopped you!" Osia's face started to get worried.

"Oh... that smoke has silent poison and those who are in the area won't be able to use any spells or even talk. I don't know what's with you because you are not affected for some reason. Sssss...." Then he pulled the dagger out of Sh.e.l.la.

She fell to the ground lifeless.
