Keaton face was as dark as the bottom of a charcoal pot by the time Alicia finished. "How exactly were you okay with dating me then?" He asked but immediately regretted asking that question. "You don't ...." Keaton was about to tell Alicia not to answer his question when Alicia interrupted.

"I dated you because unlike the other guys who asked me out, you were the only real one. You were and still are my friend and you never treated me like just a pretty face. h.e.l.l, you treated me better than anyone has ever done to me in years and for that I will always be grateful" Alicia said with a bittersweet smile on her face.

Alicia laughed hard at this "OK, contrary to your belief I would have preferred to have lunch with you and your manageable face but sadly I can't" she paused before she continued. "I have to attend a business lunch with my boss"

Hearing all these the little ray of hope he had from trying to guilt trip her which he was also horrible at died completely. "Wait, why must you go with him for the lunch. I believe he is more than capable of doing that himself"

Keaton was really frustrated but Alicia laughed at his words. "What is so funny about what I said?" He asked a bit worked up. "Actually, nothing. Just that I was thinking about the same thing you said when my a.s.sists told me about the lunch earlier"

Keaton made an 'oh' expression with his mouth as he heard this. "Are you going to tell me what you came for now or what?" Alicia asked amusedly. Keaton looked at her weirdly which got a 'What?' From Alicia. She knew the implication of his look but still decided to ask.

"Alright, fine how about we reschedule the lunch to another day. You can tell me whatever it is you came for then. Deal?" She asked with a glint in her eyes. "Well, now that is something I can live with" Keaton said happily.

Checking the time Alicia decided to stop her work for the time being and concentrate on the half blood prince in her office. They have known themselves for a while now and she still wonders how it happened.

"I know I am handsome so you don't need to steal glances at me. Just do it openly, I am not complaining" Keaton said shamefully. "Well, I am complaining" Alicia replied while shootung daggers at Keaton with her eyes. Thankfully looks don't kill or Keaton would be dead by now.
