The people who were hit with the life bolt felt a rejuvenating sensation within their bodies, as if the life and energy they have lost when they were under the spell were all coming back fast and healing the injuries.

They were shocked at first, before being elated. At that point, they knew that the person they were facing were one of the rare magicians who had grasped different elements, including the elusive Life element.

How was it elusive? Let's check the statistics of the espers with awakened abilities related to Life and Healing in general. Out of the known and registered 4.35 million Espers, only less than 1% have that ability, making them the most desired and sought out by people with terminal illnesses as well as hospitals.

After all, those who controlled life energy was known to have a longer lifespan, as well as the ability to give others a longer lifespan. Everyone wanted to curry the favor of these people. After all, who didn't want a longer life?

The group responded succinctly towards the man in black suit and immediately headed back to the direction they came from.

The man in black suit took one last look at Paolo before turning his body and following his subordinates. Paolo didn't care about that last gaze. All he wanted was for them to disappear from his sight before leaving.

He wanted to be discreet with his movements so he decided to check for skills that allowed him to move instantaneously. What immediately came to mind would be the skill [Blink] under Spatial skill tree for auxiliary skills.

Paolo immediately increased the level to 10 of the skill, allowing him to travel 500 meters per 0.2 seconds from any direction.

As he activated it, he made sure to change his look, aura and soul emissions once again to avoid the pursuit of other espers.

Within a second, he had travelled over 2.5 kilometers, nearing the border of the Saharan desert. He was even able to see through his system map that the fellows that attacked him were still behind him.

In less than 2 hours, he already arrived at North America's Florida, travelling around 10,500 kilometers.

In less than 3 hours, he arrived at his private island in the Pacific Ocean, travelling a total of 22,500 kilometers.

Upon arriving on the island, he checked the progress of building the fortress. Upon seeing that the completion rate was already at 70%, nearly 3/4ths of the work done, he was quite happy. The main framework for the buildings were already done and fixed, and all that remained was the aesthetics and increased support for the walls and buildings.

He continued to his temporary residence in the island as the work was still still being done, and proceeded to process the items he had gained.

Upon entering the small villa, I immediately entered the patio and sat by one of the soft, relaxing seats.

I instantly opened the system inventory with just a thought. Seeing the contents of my Inventory, I couldn't help laugh at myself for being quite prepared, yet at the same time, being quite messy in organization.

I had at least 10 different stacks of money of different currencies from large and powerful countries, all in all totalling a staggering value of 20 Billion US dollars filling up 10 slots in my inventory.

I also had 200 inventory slots dedicated for seeds of different plants, as well as 200 inventory slots of poultry and meat products. The good thing about this inventory truly is the stasis feature, making everything go on a standstill and avoid spoilage or death.

I checked the inventory slot for the [Mystery Box], and began to open the boxes one by one, hoping for a miracle.
