Idiot In Love -115 Chapter 1: New Place

Wu Chen arrived at the City L airport. The air was sticky hot. He swept the beads of sweat on his forehead. He looked at his surroundings. It was exactly the same as what his best friend, Jun Liu, told him over the phone two weeks ago after his dad dropped the issue of him coming to City L.

The place was small, old and the people are quite tanned.

Wu Chen deduced that the people in City L got tanned because of the topography of the city. City L was one of the small cities near the sea.

He went outside the airport to see whether the person responsible for receiving him in City L was already waiting for him.

He walked through the crowd to go outside only to find out that the person who was supposed to 'welcome' him to City L was not there. Even her shadow was not around.

Wu Chen felt a bit annoyed. He never liked the heat. He really felt like scolding this little sister of his, so he fished out his phone from the luggage to scold the irresponsible people who caused his mood to go down the first time he touched down in City L.

"Don't tell me you forgot that you are supposed to pick me up from the airport today. I'm not buying it. Tell me something new. At least, something logical". He was speaking in a calm tone but the person on the other side of the line could trace the hint of coldness and disappointment in his voice.

"Gomenasai aniki!". A soft high pitch voice shouted from the other line. His mouth gave a slight twitch. Even after not seeing each other for two years, this little sister of his was still the same; still very fond of mixing bits of foreign language in her speech.

He remembered the frustration he felt when at some point; he could not really understand NaNa. It was as if she came from the other planet; an alien.

He wanted to tease her a bit but suddenly a soft hand pushed him hard and he fell hard on the floor. Before he could do anything, the person who pushed him forcefully took his luggage and tried to run. But to no avail, the person could not run as the airport was too crowded.

Wu Chen thought that the situation was a bit comical. The person who attempted to rob him was too blunt to try something daring in a crowded place. It was too funny seeing the person was trying to run but got blocked by the crowd. Too stupid he thought.

"CHONG NANA" he shouted loudly. The people around him looked at the poor gentleman and proceed to look at the small girl who stole the luggage of the poor gentleman.

The girl smiled innocently as if nothing happened. She walked towards Wu Chen while extending her right hand to help him stand. Wu Chen took her hand and mirrored her action; pretending as if nothing happened because truthfully, it was a bit embarra.s.sing when he fell in the middle of a big crowd just now.

NaNa handed over the luggage to Wu Chen. "I like to try playing robbery inside the airport to see how people will react." Without waiting for Wu Chen to scold her, she attempted to explain herself. Wu Chen rolled his eyes before taking his luggage from her. Wu Chen humped and thought that the reason was a bit childish. A 25-year-old playing robber? What an idiot.

Chong NaNa was his cousin. His dad and NaNa's mother were siblings. His mother always wanted to have a daughter but due to health reason, his parents were only able to conceive him. Hence, NaNa was spoiled rotten by both his parents. Sometimes, he wondered whether he was adopted and NaNa was the real child of his parents.

"I'm sorry brother Chen. I was supposed to be here since an hour ago but I am too scared to wake my housemate from her beauty sleep". Wu Chen felt a bit shocked by what NaNa had told him. If he remembered correctly, this small girl was not afraid of anyone. This housemate of her must be quite stern for his little cousin to feel afraid.

Along the way, people kept on staring at the good-looking pair. If one looked carefully at Wu Chen and NaNa, one could find some similarities in their facial feature. The guy was handsome, with pale skin and height around 180 cm. The girl was so beautiful with long jet black hair reaching her waist, red lips and round brown eyes.

When standing side by side, the girl only reaches the guy's ear. The crowd estimated that the girl must be around 168cm. Both of them had pale skin, they looked like vampires walking through the crowd to find their next blood bag.
