Idiot In Love -106 Chapter 10: Outing

Fifteen minutes before 8 o'clock, a red car parked in a certain apartment complex.

"We are using my car, so hurry up". Wu Chen was busy checking his car when the two women arrived. The two women inside the red car looked at each other.

"Brother, I would love to sit inside your car but then there is a long unadopted road ahead. It is quite b.u.mpy. I'm afraid your expensive car will be damaged by it". NaNa looked adoringly at the sleek black Lexus RX 350.

"Don't worry brother. G.o.ddess will take us there. She's used to the b.u.mpy road". Yi Fei went out from her car. Seeing the puzzled look on Wu Chen's face, Yi Fei walked to the front of her car and hugged the b.u.mper.

"This is G.o.ddess". Yi Fei continued on hugging and rubbing the red metal.

Wu Chen had no other choice; he had to follow the girls since he did not want anything to happen to his car. Another thing, he did not know what to expect along the way to City T, it would be better for him to be the pa.s.senger. It hurts his pride to be driven by two women younger than him, but it was better than having his favourite car scratched on the road.

After the discussion, Wu Chen entered the car and sat in the back seat. NaNa was riding shotgun so he could only sit at the backseat.

"Come, let's go and have the best trip of our life. To start this amazing trip, I am going to play my song". Yi Fei turned on her mp3 player inside the car. She played 'Gotta Feeling' by Black Eyed Peas and sang along with the song.

From City L to City T, it would take around two hours and a half driving hours. It was a torturous moment for Wu Chen because Yi Fei kept on saying "oh, this is my song" for every song played. She even danced a bit and sang along with every song; some of it she sang the whole song, while some, only a chunk of it.

The worst thing was, even NaNa joined in singing with the shorty. There were singing all kinds of songs; English, Mandarin, j.a.panese, Korean, Thailand and they even sang Indian song.

"If you can see that I'm the one who understands you, been here all along so why can't you see...ee...ee... You belong with me...ee...ee" Yi Fei clutched her chest while singing.

"Gomen ne sunao janakute...yume no naka nara ieru..." Yi Fei sang the theme song for Sailor Moon.

"To the left, to the left... Everything you own in the box to the left..." Yi Fei swayed her body to the left.

"Shorty, could you please be careful when driving". Halfway through their trip to City T, Wu Chen could not take it anymore and he finally spoke from the backseat. Wu Chen kept on calling Yi Fei 'shorty' in his mind; without realizing it, he blurted out 'shorty' to call her out.

Yi Fei stopped singing and looked at NaNa as if she did not expect that the 'shorty' would be her. NaNa stared back at her, blinking her eyes innocently.

"Yi Fei, you are the shortest here. Why are you looking at me?" NaNa tried her best to hold her laughter.

"I am very careful ar…" Yi Fei glanced at Wu Chen at the backseat after realizing that the shorty was her; her current face showed the I-have-been-wronged expression. She addressed the concern of her pa.s.senger without refuting being called shorty.

"Are you sure? Why is it I feel that whenever you sway your body to the left, this car will move a bit to the left and when you sway to the right, the car will also go right? Is that some kind of sorcery?" Wu Chen did not want to be mean but he frankly thought that the way shorty drove the car was quite dangerous.

Yi Fei kept on blurting excuses and Wu Chen kept on reprimanding Yi Fei about the things shouldn't be done inside the car.

Yi Fei felt that she was on the losing side of the argument so she could only act pitiful.

"But did you die? No right? Leave me alone". Almost crying, Yi Fei glanced at NaNa, seeking support and a.s.sistance but NaNa only smiled complacently.

Wu Chen continued to list out the dangerous things done by Yi Fei.

"If you are so great, then you can drive my G.o.ddess". Yi Fei was so furious.

"Then, let me. Don't even think of driving yourself in the future". Again, without realizing it, Wu Chen blurted out his thought without thinking.

"When the two of you arguing, you looked like those married couple having a disagreement about who drive better…" Looking at the bickering duo, NaNa felt that the scene was very comical.

The bickering duo gave a sidelong glance to NaNa. Yi Fei stopped the car on the side of the road and Wu Chen took the steering wheel.

Yi Fei was riding shotgun because she insisted that she was responsible to be the DJ to choose her songs so that she will be happy along the road after certain someone complaining about her driving skill.
