NaNa was taking a selfie on the balcony when she noticed his cousin's car entering the apartment complex parking compound. Ignoring the car, she continued taking few snaps before she could choose the best to be uploaded on her Weibo.

NaNa was a cosplayer. She usually attends anime exhibition in and out of the country. She could be considered a well-known cosplayer in the country because she had around 200k follower in Weibo.

Apart from posting updating her cosplay activity, NaNa rarely posted a selfie of her normal look.

After waiting for some time, NaNa looked at the car at the parking lot and she did not see Yi Fei or her cousin brother came out from the car. So, she got curious.

Suddenly, the driver's door opened to reveal a helpless Wu Chen. Wu Chen went to the other side of the pa.s.senger door and opened the door. What happened after that shocked NaNa to the core. She saw that Wu Chen went down on one knee and started blowing Yi Fei's knee.

"Oh la la… Lucky…Lucky…" By using her phone, she snapped a few pictures while smiling smugly. She checked her masterpieces and felt satisfied by her luck for today.

Then, NaNa saw Yi Fei limped her way to the entrance with Wu Chen behind her, grocery bag on both of his hands. NaNa laughed loudly because she would never think that the day will come where Wu Chen carried grocery bags behind a woman.

NaNa was pretending to watch the television when Yi Fei and Wu Chen entered the house. She was pretending that she didn't see anything happened in the parking lot. She, indeed, was quite good at acting.

"Yi Fei, why are you limping? Did you cry?" NaNa patted the seat next to her. Yi Fei limped towards her and sat down on the spot patted by NaNa. NaNa was seriously curious about what happened to her.

Yi Fei told NaNa about how she got her knee swollen. She, of course, omitted the part where she jokingly proposed to Wu Chen. NaNa listened attentively, nodded her head while saying 'mm' once in a while. After Yi Fei recounted the whole thing, NaNa was left hanging.

"Is that all?" NaNa was waiting for Yi Fei to tell her about what they did inside the car but Yi Fei nodded her head, said that she told her everything. Before she could ask for more, Wu Chen came in with a gla.s.s of water on his right hand and a tablet of medicine on his left.

Wu Chen pa.s.sed the water and the tablet to Yi Fei before he sat on the sofa next to Yi Fei. NaNa was looking at them suspiciously. She was really curious about what happened.

After taking the medicine, Yi Fei stood up and tried to walk to the kitchen. Then, she turned to Wu Chen and gestured him to the kitchen.

"What are you doing?" Wu Chen asked when he saw that Yi Fei wanted to go to the kitchen.

"We don't have much time. I'm going to teach you the simplest noodle recipe that you can do easily. Come on" Yi Fei limped to the kitchen. Her knee was getting more painful. She hoped that her knee was not fractured or something.

"Fei Fei, you should go back and rest first. Your knee looks painful. If you keep on standing and moving around, it will get worse" Wu Chen was not in the mood to learn cooking anymore. It was true that he was cold to a woman but he was not heartless. Everyone will pity a limping person if they see one. He was also like that.

"Then give me your number. I will send you the detailed recipe and steps on how to make them" Truthfully, Yi Fei was in pain and she felt that she would not be able to stand long.

So, she agreed quickly. She took out her phone from her pants and punched the string of numbers uttered by Wu Chen. She then tried calling the number. She saw that Wu Chen's phone screen flashed, alerting him of an incoming call.

"That's me" She hung up the call and returned to her seat. Wu Chen saved her number, stood up to pick the gla.s.s from the table, went straight to the kitchen and washed it. When he returned, he was carrying an ice pack. He gave the ice pack to Yi Fei.

"Wah… so thoughtful ar… So handsome… Yi Fei, don't you think my brother is very handsome and kind?" NaNa tried to spice things up because she felt that she was totally ignored by her housemate and her cousin brother.

Yi Fei and Wu Chen did not pay any attention to NaNa. Yi Fei put the ice pack on her knee and Wu Chen was busy instructing her about the do's and don'ts she should be following to take care of her injury.

NaNa felt like deserted minor characters. She could not help but think about what could possibly happen in two hours. Yi Fei was injured, the nickname had changed from 'shorty' to 'Fei Fei' and Wu Chen was acting like a housewife.

NaNa simply felt that today, something crucial had taken a shape in between Yi Fei and Wu Chen and it was killing her because she did not know anything about it.

But after thinking about the pictures she snapped earlier, she smirked. It looked like she could use the pictures to blackmail his cousin brother.
