Idiot In Love -55 Chapter 61: Wish

Wu Chen went back to City K to attend a meeting. There were a few things he needed to sort out in City K because his father asked him to.

While waiting for the boarding time, Wu Chen read some of the doc.u.ments that needed his review. His phone rang and when he looked at the string of numbers calling him, he knew who that person was.

"Yes?" Wu Chen did not know why Li Wei suddenly called him. After all these years, Li Wei called him a few days ago; she seemed as if she was drunk.

Looking at the bright cloud, Wu Chen thought that it was too early to get drunk.

"h.e.l.lo, Chen. Want to have lunch together later? I am going back to City T this evening" Li Wei spoke as if they were still close; like how they were 8 years ago.

Wu Chen was speechless for a second. They did not talk to each other for so many years and then suddenly Li Wei came out of blue, acting as if nothing bad had happened to them; that they were still close with each other.

"I don't think so" Even though he did not know what was wrong with Li Wei, Wu Chen was not a kind soul who will be concerned to every single person he knew.

The person on the other end was quiet as if she couldn't understand what Wu Chen wanted to say. "I see. You must be busy. How about next weekend? I am doing outstation work in City L next weekend too"

"My weekend is full" Wu Chen was speaking the truth. His weekend was full because he was going to spend it with Yi Fei; he did not have the time to entertain other outsiders.

Feeling dejected, Li Wei could only let out a long 'oh' before Wu Chen hung up on her. Even though Wu Chen did not agree to have a lunch with her, she figured out that she could only stay persistent in chasing him back.

Yi Fei, on the other hand, had a very pleasant day even after the early morning face-off between her and Cheng Xiao Meng. Every time she looked at her Lay, she was smiling widely because the Unicorn was so cute.

While looking at the Unicorn inside the box, Yi Fei had an idea.

She took out the Unicorn from the box and took a picture of it. She then sent it to Wu Chen with a caption "You have been visited by the Unicorn. Shout 'All hail Unicorn' three times and your wish will come true".

At the time when Yi Fei sent him the picture, Wu Chen had just finished his meeting. He opened the message straight away after she received it.

Upon reading the caption of the picture sent by Yi Fei, he guffawed in his office. He then pressed the call b.u.t.ton to call Yi Fei.

"What are you doing? Not teaching?" There was a hint of playfulness in his tone.

"I am free now but I'll have cla.s.s later. How do you know I like Unicorn?" Yi Fei was actually happy because Wu Chen called her twice in a day. She seemed to get used to it. They were talking and calling each other like it was a normal thing between them and she liked it so much.

"It's not actually a rocket science to figure that out. I realized that you have a lot of s.h.i.+rts with Unicorn picture printed on it. Even your username has Unicorn in it" Wu Chen sat down on his chair. "Do you really love the Unicorn I gave you so much?"

"Yes ar…Thank you very much, Chen Chen" Yi Fei's heart melted when Wu Chen told her that he realized about her obsession with Unicorn.

"I miss you already. The meeting is not fun" Wu Chen laid back of his chair as he was staring at the ceiling.

Even though Yi Fei loved him so much, it still startled her when Wu Chen was very expressive about his feeling. She was not sure whether he meant it in a special way or if he was just a nice guy and he was always like that to every other girl he knew.

With the silence from Yi Fei, Wu Chen knew that Yi Fei must be thinking about something. He could already picture how she looked at the moment. Whenever she was thinking, she will be quiet which the opposite of her smart mouth was. Her head tilted to the left. Her brows frowned and her eyes will be blank.

"Stop mistaken me for being nice, you know I'm not" Wu Chen could basically guess what's on her mind right now and true to his guess, he heard a gasp on the other end of the conversation.

"You are not?" Yi Fei said it dramatically because she had always thought that Wu Chen was nice because he had always treated her nicely.

Wu Chen laughed because that wasn't the main point of what he wanted to say to Yi Fei but he wanted to make her realized something, that he wasn't nice to everyone – only to the people he cared the most.

"Only to you" Wu Chen coughed before stressing the meaning of his earlier words. "I am nice but only to you. So, I miss you"

Wu Chen heard the person on the other line was talking to someone and then he heard the sound of door closing.

After the sound of the door closing, Yi Fei said "mm" to Wu Chen.

"Don't you miss me too?" Wu Chen asked her.

"I miss you too" Yi Fei was whispering.

Wu Chen laughed. He couldn't believe how cute she was. He guessed that Yi Fei must be shy to say she missed him in front of her colleagues so she went to somewhere else just to whisper that she missed him too.

When Yi Fei said the "all hail Unicorn" three times, Wu Chen was actually dumbfounded because the topic had changed too abruptly. He still wanted to tease her more but seeing how random she was, he played along.

"What is your wish, my princess?" Wu Chen never thought one day, he will spoil a lady like this.

"Will you really grant my wish? Anything?" Yi Fei asked for confirmation.

"Yes. Anything. What do you want?" Wu Chen did not know how the table turned this way. He was supposed to be the one shouting 'All hails Unicorn' and got his wish granted but Yi Fei shouted first so he played along.

Some women usually asked for expensive things so he was really curious about her wish. Whatever it was, Wu Chen was willing to be her genie and he will try his best to grant it.

"I really want to eat a double cheeseburger but NaNa will be on diet for the whole week because her ComicCon is approaching so I have no one to accompany me. I can always go alone but the food is better if we enjoy it with other people" Yi Fei sighed.

"Okay, let's go this Friday after I'm back". His heart softened after Yi Fei said that. Out of all wished she could ask for, she asked for a partner to eat burger together.

Wu Chen did not like fast food but if his girl said she wanted to eat a double cheeseburger, then he'll do anything to get her a double cheeseburger.
