Ten minutes before 7, W Chen arrived at Yi Fei's doorstep. Yi Fei invited him in so he could wait inside the house while she was getting ready.

"Chen Chen, should I cook for you? I did not manage to cook for you last weekend. This sister is a trustworthy person. I will not break the promise I made" Yi Fei patted her chest as if she was in a Yakuza movie.

Yi Fei was referring to their bet in which she had to cook for Wu Chen every weekend for a month since Wu Chen appeared in front her.

Wu Chen declined while saying that they should go out to eat for the day because he did not have any ingredient in his home. Due to the crime happening recently, Wu Chen felt that it won't be too safe to go out at the moment.

Thinking about it, Yi Fei had a suspicion that Wu Chen was proposing the bet on purpose – to bait her. She walked to her room while giving him a stink-eye, indicating that she knew of him being suspicious.

Wu Chen just smiled helplessly – his Yi Fei was very smart to be able to smell his previous cunning plot.

Since it was a normal dinner, Yi Fei opted for a simple look with black jeans and off shoulder black top. She did not want to appear as if she was trying so hard to impress Wu Chen.

Inside the car, Yi Fei still did not know where they were going to have their dinner. "Chen Chen, where are we going to eat?"

Wu Chen gave her a side glance. He did not say anything, he only smirked. That caused Yi Fei to be suspicious of him.

While staring blatantly at Wu Chen, Yi Fei's phone rang. She took out her phone and saw that John was calling her.

"h.e.l.lo, John. Yes… Yes… Really? Good… Who is the male G.o.d?" Yi Fei kept on looking at Wu Chen while speaking to John on the phone like she was perturbed by him. "Mm… We are about to get our dinner… I understand. Bye, muaah"

Wu Chen had this dissatisfied look on his face when he heard Yi Fei blew a kiss on the phone. He had not even kissed her yet and now John was even luckier that he is. He wanted to sulk.

"Who's John to you?" Wu Chen knew almost everything he needed to know about John and Yi Fei but he couldn't show that he investigated her now, didn't he?

"John ar… the one we met yesterday" Yi Fei was confused about why Wu Chen would ask about John when the two of them had already met in the restaurant yesterday.

"Are you so close to him that you blew him a kiss in front of your boyfriend?" Wu Chen was sulking for sure.

When she heard about the question and Wu Chen's tone while speaking it, Yi Fei burst out laughing. She did not know why but Wu Chen was adorable when he was sulking.

"Chen Chen… John is… hahahahaha" Yi Fei could not hold her laughter. "Is gay ar hahahahah" Seeing that Wu Chen was serious, Yi Fei stopped laughing and started to explain seriously.

"You see, I am quite unlucky when it comes to love" Yi Fei started narrating about her love life, her crushes and how she got friend zoned every time. "But it was nice though. I get a best friend instead of a boyfriend and that made me happy too".

Yi Fei's eyes were sparkling when she talked about her best friend. Wu Chen could not understand how people would leave such a beautiful girl like her alone because he wouldn't. He grabbed Yi Fei's hand tight to comfort her.

"Why are you comforting me? I'm not even sad" Yi Fei misunderstood the gesture. She thought that Wu Chen took pity on her and was holding her hand to comfort her.

"I do not pity you. I pity them because they could not see how beautiful and kind you are. I'm not letting you go" Wu Chen was only speaking what's on his mind. He did not expect that someone will be touched by what he said.

Yi Fei's eyes moisten when she heard Wu Chen's declaration. She took her phone and typed quickly.

"What are you doing?" Wu Chen was curious as to why Yi Fei took her phone when they were in a romantic situation. By right, people should be immersed in the situation. They will look into each other's eyes and kiss.

But of course, it would be impossible with the situation they were in now. Wu Chen could possibly engage in a staring compet.i.tion while driving them to get their dinner.

"I am changing your name in my contact. I'll just add this heart next to your name" Yi Fei was busy choosing the heart symbol so she did not realize that Wu Chen was peeking at her phone.

"Why 'Chen Chen heart'? Why not 'my love heart' or 'my boyfriend heart'? Or… 'my baby heart'? Didn't you call me baby when I am about to hang up the phone a few hours ago?" Wu Chen was seriously curious about it.

Yi Fei looked at Wu Chen as he had asked the stupidest question ever. She frowned and started to pity Wu Chen. "But that's what I call my dog ar… I have a cat and dog in my hometown. My dog's name is baby"

"Are you saying that I am a dog?" Wu Chen was a bit offended by the revelation. He pouted while focusing on the road.

"No ar… that one is... I'm trying the Christian Grey's famous line" Yi Fei did not expect that Wu Chen will pout.

"So, am I Christian Grey?" His mood brightened a little when Yi Fei mentioned Christian Grey. He knew about Christian Grey. He caught his female subordinate watching the Fifty Shades of Grey during working hours once so he knew who Christian Grey is.

"No, I am. You are Anastasia Steele" She giggled giddily after saying that. Wu Chen couldn't stay mad at Yi Fei when she giggled. Then he remembered the cat owned by Yi Fei. He needed to know its name so that Yi Fei won't call him with her pets' name.

"And what's the name of your cat? Don't tell me it's something like 'honey', 'love' or 'dear'"

Since the dog's name was baby, Wu Chen expected that the cat's name could be something similar to 'baby' as well.

"His name Hemo Hemo like Hemo from the Ninja Boys. I love watching that anime when I was in middle school" Yi Fei told him about her cat happily.

"But Hemo is a dog, right? Nana watched that anime too so I know" Wu Chen could not understand why Yi Fei was so obsessed with things she read and watched.

They reached the seaside of City L, Yi Fei went out of the car; so did Wu Chen. "There's no rule saying that I couldn't name my cat by using the name of a dog character from a novel or movie, or anime" Yi Fei looked at her surroundings. "Isn't that the Misty Bar? Why are we here?"

Wu Chen ruffled Yi Fei's hair before holding her hand. He did not say anything, causing Yi Fei to panic.

"Are you trying to make me remember about my performance in there?" Yi Fei wanted to cry by now.

Wu Chen smiled and just pulled her along with her and they went into the bar – it was empty. n.o.body was there inside the bar. Yi Fei was puzzled; Misty Bar and Club was one of the famous bars in City L. It was impossible for the place to be so empty unless…

"NaNa told me that this is your favourite bar so I buy this place after I fetched you from here. The location is good and I like the ambience here so I bought it. Well… I have a lot of memories about this place too…" Wu Chen looked teasingly towards Yi Fei.

Yi Fei could not say anything to that so she was just standing there looking so defeated by Wu Chen. Wu Chen clapped his hands and a few waiters came to set up a table and the food.

They were going to have a romantic candlelight dinner with the seaside as their background.
