Wu Chen drove as if the devil was after him.

He didn't know how fast he drove on the road; he only cared about getting to Yi Fei as fast as he can. While driving inside the car, he made a call to Liu s.h.i.+.

Liu s.h.i.+ picked up his call after the ringback tone sounded only once.

"Yes, boss. Anything I can do for you?" Liu s.h.i.+ was always on alert even on the weekend because previously, his workaholic boss will ring him even on Sunday night. The frequency of his boss calling him after he got together with Yi Fei decreased but that didn't mean that he already lower his guard down.

"The culprit has made a new move. The culprit splashed paint all over Yi Fei's car. Dispatch Jason to guard her in the shadow" Wu Chen hung up right after he had said everything he needed to say.

When Wu Chen reached the parking lot of Yi Fei's apartment complex, he could see how badly the red car was vandalized. Even Wu Chen, who was not the owner of the G.o.ddess, could feel his heart bleed upon seeing the car.

Wu Chen parked his car and went straight to Yi Fei's house.

"Fei Fei, open the door" Wu Chen knocked a few times before a short lady with red puffy eyes opened the door.

Wu Chen entered the door and hugged the pitiful looking lady silently. He felt useless. If he had pushed through all his connections, this issue should have been resolved in a day. Now that it came to this, Wu Chen couldn't let the matter being resolved according to flow anymore.

Wu Chen was mad enough for the culprit who had sent disgusting things twice to Yi Fei's workplace. Now that the culprit had resorted to vandalism, he couldn't sit still. If he had to pull any string to get things done, then be it.

His heart broke when seeing how sad and scared Yi Fei was at the moment since she did not move or talk. Wu Chen continued hugging her until Yi Fei struggled to get away from his embrace.

"Chen Chen, you're suffocating me" Yi Fei tapped on Wu Chen's hand so that he will loosen his embrace on Yi Fei. "I cannot breath" Yi Fei was panting.

Wu Chen was so lost in planning on how to solve the issue that he didn't realize that he tightened his hands on Yi Fei, squeezing her face to his chest.

He let go of Yi Fei in an arm away from him to check if she's alright. "Don't worry, I'm here. Nothing will happen to you".

"But NaNa is waiting for me in the airport. I went down to pick her up from the airport" Yi Fei felt safe when Wu Chen was around so she was not worried about anything except for NaNa.

A lot of people were wondering why Chong NaNa asked Yi Fei to send and pick her up from any place. Other than not having any reason to get a driving licence because she had a chauffeur who drove her around in City K, NaNa had other reasons why she didn't get her licence yet.

Yi Fei knew about the reasons so she was willing to send and pick NaNa up but Wu Chen didn't. So, at the moment, Wu Chen was frowning because Yi Fei could still think of other people when she herself was in a complicated situation.

"She could take a taxi to go back" Wu Chen made a mental reminder that he needed to talk to NaNa to get her driving licence so that she won't be too dependent on Yi Fei to drive her anywhere. After all, Yi Fei was his girlfriend and NaNa should be nice to her and not treat her as her personal driver.

"Don't be like this Chen Chen. She's your sister and my housemate. You need to treat her better" Yi Fei tried to reason with Wu Chen.

Wu Chen sighed and took out his phone. He typed rapidly on his phone before he put his phone back on his pant. "All done. Don't worry about her" When he saw that Yi Fei had a silly smile on her face, Wu Chen knocked her head lightly. "Worry about yourself first, don't bother about NaNa. She could take care of herself"

Yi Fei opened her mouth to retaliate but she couldn't get anything out of her lips so she stood there agape at the splendour of the male G.o.d in front of her. "As expected of my boyfriend, you are wise". Yi Fei nodded her head while touching her invisible long white beard while muttering 'hmm' a few times.

Wu Chen's lips curved upwards. Seeing how Yi Fei could make a random statement, she must be fine already.

A beautiful girl who looked like she came out from the manga was waiting patiently in the airport. The crowd inside the airport kept on staring at her. Well, with a black and white j.a.panese school uniform with a large red bow tie, she dressed up like the character Tohka Yatogami from Date A Live. She even styled her hair like the anime character; it was impossible not to stare at the lady.

The lady was about to make a phone call when she saw a black Lexus came in the arrival lane.

Chong NaNa was hoping that Yi Fei would come to pick her up from the airport alone but seeing how clingy her cousin brother was, NaNa could understand if Wu Chen insisted to come too.

NaNa sighed as she approached the car. It didn't matter to her anyway. She could always tease or dug something from Wu Chen as well.

When she opened the door, she was disappointed – again.
